House Votes YES On Red Flag Gun Confiscation … with the help of 135 Republicans

Sonsabitches …

Red Flag Gun Confiscation passes the House 316-113 with support of 135 Republicans.

A provision in the 2022 National Defense Authorization Act would allow military courts to issue protective orders that include Red Flag gun confiscation, according to the more than 1,300-page bill.

In the legislation, those beholden to the United States Code of Military Justice could be issued a military court protective order, which would make possessing, receiving, or otherwise accessing a firearm illegal.

“A military court protective order issued on an ex parte basis shall restrain a person from possessing, receiving, or otherwise accessing a firearm; and a military court protective order issued after the person to be subject to the order has received notice and opportunity to be heard on the order, shall restrain such person from possessing, receiving, or otherwise accessing a firearm in accordance with section 922 of title 18,” SEC. 529 of H.R. 4350 states.

Protective orders issued on an emergency basis are exempted from providing the recipient with the standard “right to due process.” Instead, “notice and opportunity to be heard” must only be provided after an order was already issued.

When they tell you over and over they are not coming for your guns, you can bet the house they are coming for your guns.

When you think it might be time to hide your guns, it is really the time to use them.

We are approaching that point of no return, I believe. I have mopped my front porch and listened to the breeze and the birdsong and I sense an approach.

Rough beast or Better angels?

This is terribly important news no one has mentioned was upcoming. Did you know this was up for a vote?

Yeah, this came up on Fox News… a few days ago. Like I said; when the ringmaster says “AND NOW, IN THE CENTER RING,” it behooves you to keep an eye on rings one and three…

Yes, on the liberal sites this was reported and to them glorious news, especially the part where there was much working across the aisle, I kid you not.

Maggie we have past the point of no return a long time ago. We can only be saved in 2 ways : the return of the Christ or rebellion. Each one of us needs to pick a person who should receive the consequences of their actions. There are thousands of them. School board members, politicians at all levels(especially RINOS),woke corporate officers and board members, educators, and some in the media. Easy targets . They can’t protect them all.

Maggie,

I had a conversation with a friend today in his home…deep concern in his voice…caught me off guard …warning me about how vocal I am on the internet, and the ‘stuff’ I put out (no social media posts – not on any of them…all Bcc pass alongs from TBP and other similar sources, and my own truth bombs to family and friends).

Now, we are of extremely like minds…but he is trying to be as Grey as he can…while I am doing the opposite.

Since Nov. 6th he has asked me to stop sending him posts/opinions…as have two others…they are scared of AI and completely intimidated by the Cabal and their FF in DC, and worried about ending up like those sucked into becoming political prisoners in DC.

Not that they shouldn’t be – not that being a serf/future slave by being an ‘American’ with a former (and still) 1st Amendment opinion isn’t a high risk today…remember 1/3rd were Timid, one 1/3rd were Tories…and 1/3rd were True Blue…plus only 3% (Who I want to live and or die as) had the guts to shoulder a weapon and pull a trigger…if they even got the chance.

In my opinion while I’m pissing in the eye of AI…my buddy and all those being intimidated by the FF of the 6th from just posting on the internet are curled up in an ‘internet fetal position’.

All of us on TBP outside the legion of trolls, brainwashed hating idiots or lost shamers will disagree at times and come at different issues from different angles…but we are not afraid to stand for our beliefs and speak out.

Now this is a super close friend, I said: “Do you think when or if they get down to my local yokel, piss ant, defiant level they are not coming for you a month later”?

A pause.

He said: “What about your wife…what will happen to her”?

I narrowed my eyes and grabbed his… “Same as me”.

He just looked grimmer.

I thought about our conversation all the way on my ride home.

He and I went to DC to protest Obama with the Tea Party…we went to Rally Day in Richmond armed and ready in Nov. 2019…he is sniffing the air and going dark…

I am posting on the Platform on Fire…and spit polishing my home made dum…dums…

Everyone will soon have to pick their 1/3rd…if they haven’t already.

That I understand. I had not heard a damn thing about it from GOA or anyone else for that matter. There are little details as to what this is. This article says it pertains to military only. Then I read that it could apply to civies and anyone say who is retired but not discharged. Then these fucking rinos are handing the fucking commies another bipartisan victory. Words matter– essentially the MILITARY can outlaw ownership of guns in ex parte orders.
This is very insidious, doublespeak– the new law repeatedly says ” person” but anyone paying attention to the pattern of a thousand small cuts to our liberty can easily discern that this WILL be used as authority against “persons” or groups.

Wrong politics, anti-govt, liberty and freedom minded– these groups can be arguably disarmed under this new military authority.
It’s being done in plain sight if you connect the dots. The DOD, NSA and DHS all list “right-wing extremists” as the biggest national threat. They have repeatedly referred to the Jan 6th trespassing event as an “insurrection”– it’s just a small step to outlawing guns for conservatives in the name of “national security.”

This is HUGE folks, they just got their foot in the door for blanket gun confiscation legislation.

I think this only pertains to individuals that are in the military.
“In the legislation, those beholden to the United States Code of Military Justice could be issued a military court protective order, which would make possessing, receiving, or otherwise accessing a firearm illegal.”
Don’t get me wrong this still sucks, but it doesn’t have anything to do with civilian firearm ownership. Only individuals in the military answer to the USCMJ.

Already sent my congressman an e mail, this is his reply why he voted. Basically the Senate will kill this.
I told him he lost his mind to get his name on a list with Liz Cheney

Rep. Madison Cawthorn

Dear Mr. Crawfisher

Thank you for reaching out to my office with your concern about my vote for the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA). I am grateful for the time you took to express your opinion on this matter and would like to provide you with clarification of my reasoning for voting “yes” on this bill.

The NDAA is a series of United States federal laws specifying the annual budget for the United States Department of Defense, ensuring our troops have the training, equipment, and resources they need to carry out their missions. As you are aware, the U.S. is in a global competition with China and Russia. It is imperative we fund our military accordingly. The interconnected nature of our competition with these countries must drive how the U.S. government resources, modernizes, and transforms its tools to maintain leadership on the world stage.

I voted in favor of the NDAA because the assets included in the text will work to combat national crises and increase benefits for our servicemembers. These benefits include pay raises for our troops, and it reverses President Biden’s gutting of the Navy. It will prohibit dishonorable discharge for troops who choose not to take the COVID vaccine. It funds the National Guard to defeat the immigration crisis on our southern border, and it requires the Department of Defense as well as the Director of National Intelligence to assess the involvement of the Chinese Communist Party in the origins of COVID-19. It also includes over 20 provisions to hold the Biden Administration accountable for its disastrous withdrawal from Afghanistan.

There are provisions in this bill that I do not agree with. However, after a discussion with key members of the Senate, I was promised a great deal of the garbage in this bill, including the red flag laws, will be stripped from the bill when the final package comes back from the Senate.

I voted “yes” on the NDAA to send this bill to the Senate so that these onerous provisions would be eliminated and revised, then sent back to the House to be voted on.

If these portions have not been removed by the time the NDAA comes back to the House floor for a vote, I will be voting against it.

With that, I took precautionary measures and introduced a bill that will prohibit the U.S. military code from placing restrictions on servicemembers’ right to bear firearms. Our servicemembers are the most patriotic among us; I promise to defend their right to bear arms. As the Second Amendment states, “A well-regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed.”

Thank you again for contacting my office for clarification. I consider it my honor to represent founding principles of limited government, personal liberty, and a strong national defense.

Those who serve in the U.S. Military are the best among us, I consider them personal heroes of mine. As an elected official, I will do everything in my power to protect their constitutional rights.
