This is a great example of the CDC’s real priorities

Guest Post by Simon Black

If you haven’t read Michael Lewis’s new book The Premonition: A Pandemic Story, I’d say it’s probably been best described by National Public Radio (NPR) as a “sweeping indictment of the CDC”.

Lewis’s book starts off years before COVID-19, and it tells an extraordinary tale of the CDC’s inner culture: spineless, bureaucratic, and completely out of touch.

I came across a great example of this recently when I was doing some research on autism.

You may be aware that autism– a severe developmental disorder that affects children– has been rising at alarming rates.

The CDC is keenly aware of this; in fact they even set up a special division more than 20 years ago to track autism prevalence in the United States.

According to the agency’s data, for example, autism prevalence back in the year 2000 was about 1 in 150 children. By 2008, autism prevalence had increased to 1 in 88 children.

Then, by 2014, prevalence had increased to 1 in 59 children.

And finally, last year they released the most recent data from 2016 (they seem to be four years behind…) showing a prevalence of 1 in 54 children.

[Plus a 2018 report from the federal government’s Health Resources & Services Administration estimated autism prevalence at 1 in 40 children.]

You don’t need a degree in public health to understand the trend: this is a five alarm fire.

It seems safe to assume that an agency called the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention would be all over this. After all, helping to prevent such a debilitating disorder is sort of in the agency’s name.

But you would be completely astonished to read their most recent ‘Community Report’ on autism.

The report acknowledges, for examples, that autism prevalence in the United States has soared. And they state plainly that, even between 2014 and 2016, prevalence increased dramatically.

What is their explanation for this surge in autism among America’s youth?

They say it’s “unclear” and “could be due to a combination of factors”. Yet they don’t bother to list any of those factors or suggest what they might be.

But there is one thing they’re certain about with respect to autism: social justice. Yes I’m serious.

The CDC actually devoted several pages in its report to explain how, for the first time ever, autism rates in 2016 were virtually the same in black children versus white children.

VICTORY FOR SOCIAL JUSTICE!

Honestly I couldn’t believe what I was seeing. Even the headline in the press release was about social justice: “CDC finds same autism prevalence in black and white children.

Incredible. There was hardly a mention of how autism is skyrocketing out of control. Nope. To the CDC, the important headline here is that black and white kids both get autism at the same rate.

And this way of thinking really highlights the culture that Michael Lewis describes in his book: they’re completely out of touch.

To put this in a financial context, the CDC announced earlier this year that they were allocating a whopping $16 million… over a five year period… to autism research.

By comparison, the agency spent more than $100 million on a visitor center, complete with waterfalls and a Japanese garden.

Yet despite being so out of touch, no one is allowed to question the CDC’s infinite wisdom. Anyone who does is accused of disinformation. You’re censored. Deplatformed.

In fact I imagine Google’s algorithms have already buried this heresy under an avalanche of propaganda.

But censorship never changes the truth. And the truth is that, at least with respect to autism, the CDC doesn’t appear to be doing its job.

It’s extremely difficult to look at this autism trend and to read these reports, and then conclude that the CDC has a firm grasp of the situation.

But I’m sure autism is the only example…

When I was a kid, we had to get 5 vaccinations and autism was one in ten thousand. Now kids get 75 vaxxes by their 18th year, sometimes 5 or 6 at one time, and autism is about one in thirty five. I wasn’t an anti-vaxer 2 years ago, but that has changed.

My wife and I (both 61) were just this moment talking about the exact same thing… Chip

Mygirl....maybe

I was an army brat so got vaccinated for all kinds of shit every time we moved overseas. I remember looking at the vaccine card and reading how I’d just been vaccinated for yellow fever as we were headed to Germany. I didn’t get any vaccines as a baby, I was born in a German hospital and that didn’t happen back then.
Today they way over vaccinate babies and they also slam many vaccines in one dose, they vaccinate babies for Hepatitis B shortly after birth. Then the kid hits two months and gets…

Hepatitis B (HepB) (2nd dose)
Diphtheria, tetanus, and whooping cough (pertussis) (DTaP) (1st dose)
Haemophilus influenzae type b disease (Hib) (1st dose)
Polio (IPV) (1st dose)
Pneumococcal disease (PCV13) (1st dose)
Rotavirus (RV) (1st dose)

Three months…

Diphtheria, tetanus, and whooping cough (pertussis) (DTaP) (2nd dose)
Haemophilus influenzae type b disease (Hib) (2nd dose)
Polio (IPV) (2nd dose)
Pneumococcal disease (PCV13) (2nd dose)
Rotavirus (RV) (2nd dose)

Six months….

Diphtheria, tetanus, and whooping cough (pertussis) (DTaP) (3rd dose)
Haemophilus influenzae type b disease (Hib) (3rd dose)
Polio (IPV) (3rd dose)
Pneumococcal disease (PCV13) (3rd dose)
Rotavirus (RV) (3rd dose)
Influenza (Flu) (every year)

Do we see a pattern here? No wonder autism and other issues are through the roof, the kids can’t develop their immune systems and instead, offer up their lives to big Pharma…

So I had to go look up rotavirus, see what it was all about.

Rotavirus may cause fever, vomiting, upset stomach, and watery diarrhea that can last from 3 to 7 days. Because your baby is so small, symptoms of rotavirus can quickly lead to a loss of fluids, called dehydration.

Side effects from the vaccine…

The most common side effects reported after taking RotaTeq were diarrhea, vomiting, fever, runny nose and sore throat, wheezing or coughing, and ear infection.

Other reported side effects include: hives; Kawasaki disease (a serious condition that can affect the heart, symptoms may include fever, rash, red eyes, red mouth, swollen glands, swollen hands and feet, and if untreated, can be life threatening).

So the side effects are as bad as, if not worse than the disease itself…hmmm.

Additionally, my RN-OCN DIL got the covid shot while pregnant with my grandson who was born last winter. And she nurses him so we don’t know how he will fare.

I read an attorney saying in his years of medical malpractice (over 30) he’s NEVER seen an autistic kid that wasn’t vaccinated.

The CDC should focus more on what they are truly familiar with.

I suggest they start with Retardation.

The CDC, just like every single three letter agency of the federal government, has been infiltrated and compromised by communists. I need some more of your hopium to pull me out of this nagging feeling I have that we are well and truly fucked, at least in this life… Chip

No, they’re off to bigger and better targets. I read an article today that said their next major offensive was going to be gun violence. I guess they haven’t figured out whether this societal disease is bacterial or viral. Or racial.

I also guess they haven’t figured out that “gun violence” is not a medical problem, and that societal problems are none of their business.

Watch “Vaxxed 2”, which shows the heartbreaking stories of families whose parents were once pro-vaxxers and them and their children had to pay the price. Many start off as pro-vaxxers, then have an older child suffer from a vaccine injury, and then do not let their younger children get vaccinated any more. Often, the difference in the health of those younger children is astonishing. Also in the movie, families who have not had their children vaccinated at all describe the lack of any health issues whatsoever.

On slightly different news …

The (supposedly) prestigious Brit medical journal Lancet, on the cover of their current issue now refers to women as “bodies with vaginas”!

Technically true but, still …. what a bloody load of bullshit. England, charming place — trying to out Woke the USA!USA!USA!!

So, I can refer to homos as “A-holes waiting for a ferret”? I need to be up on the woke lingo.

I sincerely hope you actually mean ‘waiting for a gerbil’.

I’m slowly moving to the anti vax side (COVID shots aren’t vaxxes, I’m talking about real vax’s).

No more flu shots for the kids. Going to look into what else I can cut out, too.

Why isn’t it the CDE? Center for Disease Elimination? Center for Disease Eradication?

They don’t want to cure it. They want to control it. Says so right in the name.

They always tell the sheep what they are about. Normalcy and Decency Bias keep people from seeing it.

There appears to be a correlation between low vitamin D levels and rates of autism in children. low levels both in the mother when in utero and early development. Perhaps the increased screen time over the last decade, Netflix binges and generally sedentary lifestyle of a large segment of society is somewhat to blame.

My old boss of many years ago (one of the few good bosses I ever had) and his wife had 6 children, with the third, a boy, being autistic. He said his wife knew during that pregnancy something was different than her other five pregnancies. Never heard anymore about it, whether they were able to confirm some kind of association with that pregnancy and a possible cause of their son’s autism.
