I just finished it a second time and re-read it as a textbook with highlighter in hand. It completely works in congruence with the short piece we just watched “the big lie”.

I remember in Topics in Cell Biology we had a guess speaker (a Vet) on some gene therapy tech. Before that, we had a class discussion where we were considering some of the potential adverse reactions if things go wrong or are not properly researched.
The researcher said that horror stories were related to people not following established safety protocols and that the risks were well understood. It was more of a matter of overcoming the risks and assuring safety that was left to be done for potential therapies. And of course, targeting the therapies is the single biggest hurdle. An un-targeted therapy would lead to a list of side effects this size
The list we came up with would look a lot like that list, had we had a week to keep the discussion going. There is no question these are designed to hurt people.

It’s a good listen. I think it’s apples to oranges as the people quoted absolutely knew what tyranny was like as did the citizens. Here the fucking idiots want to find out what it’s like. I’ve never subscribed to heard mentality/conformity for the sake of just being different but realizing most people are stupid and incapable of thinking for themselves. These days people will manifest their non-conformity with bizarre shit like purple hair, piercings and tats. Hence making them conformist to a segment of so called non-conformists.

You accurately interpreted these behaviors, not as non-conformist, but as a means of fitting in. They were, I believe, the early signs of a population desperate for totalitarianism. The human animal has needs that must be fulfilled and when they are not met, they will seek a way to satisfy those cravings. In a nation where the majority come from broken homes and the rest from families that sent them away since infancy to be watched over and taught by strangers, how could we expect them not to want to be a part of something, to fit in and follow the rules of the house, to be taken care of?

As a Christian woman, I cannot agree with everything you say, but you make very compelling points nonetheless. You’ll notice I will never argue Christianity with you as your intelligence far exceeds mine and I would not win. As a highly intuitive person, I choose to to believe based on intuition, not logic.

Actions are the substance of faith. The evidence of unseen beliefs.
