Is he really unaware that the Elite are in full depopulation/carbon reduction mode to take us into a Neo-feudal hell? I kinda doubt it. I doubt he believes we will just somehow muddle thru what is happening via medical tyranny and then get our ‘economic house’ back in order with inflating debt away and building a new American consensus.
Howe is basically a liberal who isn’t totally brainwashed…that’s why he doesn’t see this situation for what it is…
He seems to believe this turning will play out in a predictable way based on previous iterations – American Revolution, Civil War, WW2. In these examples, the U.S. still remained intact. Not this time. This one is altogether different by several orders of magnitude.
He has some good arguments, but also some naive. Stopped listening when he said that we accomplished “sending a man to the moon”. Over and out.
FWIW, World War II was the best thing that ever happened for the American oligarchs.

If read the first work Generations and then the Fourth Turning. In Generations they look at what is now present with a wider lense in fact interesting enough mentioned 2020 and the possibility of Silent president comparing to James Buchanan being the same archetype and likely similar result. Both are eerie and accurate written from 1991. Whereas The Fourth Turning and Howe’s interviews tend to hint at a repeat of GD/WWII.
My observation is more 1770s or early 1500s. A supercycle of revolution that will have profound changes. I thought Howe was great in part 1 and in part 2 meh on the inflation. The reason that 1940s and 1950s that worked had to do with influx of Gold w/ partial gold standard. Also, the productivity of the GIs. With the great resignation underway and debt fiat you have neither of those tail winds.
