Predictive Programming: Games That Depict Virus Outbreak, Martial Law, Collapse Of Industrial Civilisation

Predictive Programming: Games That Depict Virus Outbreak, Martial Law, Collapse Of Industrial Civilisation

Predictive programming or preparatory propaganda has long been used in works of fiction to educate the general public on topics that can later be used to control them in some way. For example, what may at first appear to be harmless sci-fi fantasy books, movies and videogames depicting alien invasions, have for many decades paved the way for the current flood of propaganda in the news surrounding UFOs and inhabitable earth-like alien planets.

A future scam along the lines of the COVID-19 plandemic involving alien contact or invasion would already have achieved the priming of minds to accept the fake narrative. The roll out of authoritarian measures would be readily accepted by all because they’ve seen it so many times in all their favorite media. Look how quickly the general population accepted lockdowns, checkpoints, mandatory masks, social distancing, temperature checks, censorship of alternative views, and mass vaccination. All for a coronavirus threat that is looking more and more to be based on absolute lies. Fear is a powerful motivator and the elite master farmers use it to great effect to achieve their goals.

This crossover between fiction and the real world has been going on for thousands of years since humans developed imagination as part of their mental toolbox. Mythological tales and religious belief brought forth the current age of conditioning and prepared the latest generation for an unquestioning reliance on scientific dogma across all areas of life. It’s easy to see how the high priests, both old and new, maintain their power through simple tricks based on fear of the unknown and rewards for appropriate behaviour. Nothing has changed. Even the scare stories are rehashed over and over again to be introduced to new generations. Revelation, Apocalypse, End Times have morphed into thousands of hollywood scripts and videogame plots where alien invasions, virus outbreaks, dystopian dictatorships, and the inevitable collapse of civilisation prophetically and relentlessly terrorize us about what’s coming next. And we call this… entertainment!

War of the Worlds

A hundred years ago, H.G. Wells dazzled us with a tale of martians invading earth only to be wiped out by the local germs. He gets bonus points for inserting the germophobia that has now proven to be very effective in taking down the human species without even having to introduce a real pathogen. The prelearned phobia and a well-planned and executed psychological operation was all that was required. Invading aliens should obviously wear fancy hazmat suits as that is also very well known to make the dumbed-down humans instantly piss themselves and run around looking for the nearest vaccination center.

By the look of things, the pesky Martians didn’t have a Tony Fauci to tell them all to wear flimsy masks when invading a planet as that alone would have saved them a lot of bother and it’s cheaper than full hazmat. Maybe the next wave will be better prepared. I mean… we’re literally teaching them how to survive the next round. So don’t be surprised when the alien forces turn up wearing surgical masks and rubber gloves. It’s all you need to survive an interplanetary war. Lesson learned.

Soma

In more recent times, videogames have become the new soma for younger generations, replacing movies and books for many an enthusiast although TV shows have made a major comeback allowing for some crossover.

Today, we’ll focus on the impact of videogame preparatory propaganda with regard to the current hot topic of virus outbreaks and how most of these narratives descend into absolute chaos, martial law, and eventually, some kind of zombie apocalypse leading to the total breakdown of industrial civilisation and the possible extinction of the human race itself.

Cheery stuff huh? Possibly too much to handle for some, but absolutely worth investigating in more depth since the masters of the universe have already unleashed part one of this real-life hollywood script and are revving their engines for part two. Keep in mind that these narratives always have to take us to the brink before being saved by the hero character, but much real world damage can be inflicted before we reach that point.

Here are some videogame narratives that very clearly outlined much of what we are witnessing today and what may potentially unfold in the coming years if the plans of the WEF, the IMF, and most nation states come to fruition.

Deus Ex

When Deus Ex launched in 2000 it was a huge success. A game jam-packed with so many conspiracy theories and possible real-world future scenarios that it became a cult classic among gamers everywhere.

What makes it increasingly relevant in 2021 is that all the events in the story take place after the outbreak of a deadly virus pandemic…

The plot of Deus Ex depicts a society on a slow spiral into chaos. There is a massive division between the rich and the poor, not only socially, but in some cities physically. A lethal pandemic, known as the “Gray Death”, ravages the world’s population, especially within the United States, and has no cure. A synthetic vaccine, “Ambrosia”, manufactured by the company VersaLife, nullifies the effects of the virus but is in critically short supply. Because of its scarcity, Ambrosia is available only to those deemed “vital to the social order”, and finds its way primarily to government officials, military personnel, the rich and influential, scientists, and the intellectual elite.

Note that the game portrays todays backdrop of social division, anger and chaos with the United States as the primary target for destruction. The terrorist groups in the game mirror the rise of Antifa and BLM as well as angry nationalists that all have similar anti-establishment goals at the end of the day. Making the cure for the disease scarce just increases the friction between all of the factions leading to further confrontation and rioting. There was much talk about vaccine shortages during the COVID plandemic in 2021 which perfectly mirrors the kind of manufactured stress created by the elites in Deus Ex.

The increase in authoritarian powers to combat these events in the game mirrors the current roll out of emergency powers across the governments of the whole world. I wouldn’t be at all surprised if this is ramped up even more by the end of 2021 ushering in martial law in many nations to clean up the mess from the vaccine side effects or to deal with dissidents of all kinds. I hope that what we are being told about spike proteins and people dropping like flies during the next flu season is wrong, but we need to be prepared for anything.

In Deus Ex, you play as JC Denton who is a nano-augmented UNATCO agent. More on this in a moment.

Paul meets JC outside the plane and explains that he has defected from UNATCO and is working with the NSF after learning that the Gray Death is a human-made virus, with UNATCO using its power to make sure only the elite receive the vaccine.

Ah! There it is! Of course, the virus couldn’t be of natural origin. It had to be man-made by a bunch of Illuminati old fart has-beens that simply never know when to quit. Wouldn’t be much of a conspiracy without all the usual players. Let’s see… we have FEMA running the show, Majestic 12 up to their usual tricks, Area 51, a shady biotech corporation known as Versalife, AIs created by Echelon looking to take over the world… yep, plenty of boxes ticked for a full on real-life theatre production much like the one we see unfolding before our eyes every single day.

The real-world script has been flipped yet again to entertain us with the idea that a mild, man-made coronavirus escaped from the Wuhan lab instead of magically jumping from bats and pangolins to humans. Stay tuned for the next twist. It’s bound to be a good one.

There is one very important difference between the plot of Deus Ex and current real world events. In the game, the Ambrosia vaccine stays relatively scarce and the plot moves on to other things. In real life, the authorities in bed with the pharmaceutical industry appear hellbent on injecting every single human being with their experimental, untested, mRNA concoctions for a supposed disease that has a 99.98% survival rate. That should tell you everything you need to know about what the agenda might be behind global mass vaccination.

That’s why it’s important to note that JC Denton is a nano-augmented human. Apart from enhancing the character with magical powers which makes for interesting gameplay, the idea of injecting humans with nanotech is becoming more science fact and less science fiction with each passing day.

There’s a current mini-war developing on the controlled-opposition alternative media channels that questions the spike protein narrative and the damage being caused by the mRNA vaccines. Some investigators are replacing this narrative with the idea that graphene oxide added to the vaccines and other products as adjuvants are the sole cause of deaths and adverse events being reported after the mass vaccine rollout. Despite some pushback and major censorship surrounding all of these non-official theories, I would like to keep an open mind on this subject since I have long been reading academic papers on the promise of such augmentation technologies and how they would enable at least some of the magical powers described in Deus Ex and other similar games. Elon Musk has described how Neuralink would use such embedded technology to grant humans a permanent connection to the internet via 5G networks. An important detail he mentioned was that injection of nanomaterials would take place through the veins and arteries, NOT through the muscle where current injections are being delivered. Something to keep in mind.

[correction: it has now been revealed that 85% of material injected into the muscle gradually spreads to the rest of the body over time. Intramuscular injections can be used as a delivery mechanism for nanotech applications.]

Of course, if the goal of the mass vaccination campaign is population reduction, sterilisation, or simply to drum up more business for Big Pharma then anything is possible.

Tong requests that JC infiltrate the VersaLife building. Doing so, JC discovers that the corporation is the source for the Gray Death, and he can steal the plans for the virus and destroy the universal constructor (UC) that produces it.

Imagine a real-life plot-twist – that COVID-19 was a sham all along and the vaccine manufacturers were behind the whole damned thing from the beginning. The Wuhan lab, Event 201, The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, Pfizer, Moderna, Johnson and Johnson, Dr Fauchi – all characters on a stage playing their parts for money and power. What is the ultimate agenda behind this ridiculous nightmare? When will the veil drop so that even the dumbest, mask-wearing covidians finally realise they’ve been taken for a ride? And will the promised remedies for the vaccine damaged help mitigate some of the horror that comes our way?

Analysis of the virus shows that its structure was designed by the Illuminati, prompting Tong to send JC to Paris to obtain their help fighting Majestic 12. JC meets with Illuminati leader Morgan Everett and learns that the technology behind the Gray Death was intended to be used for augmentation, but Majestic 12, led by trillionaire businessman and former Illuminatus Bob Page, stole and repurposed it.

Again, a reference to analysing the virus. In real life, the SARS-CoV-2 virus remains elusive since it has yet to be properly isolated and purified as debated by researchers such as Dr Andrew Kaufman and Dr Stefan Lanka. What we have in real life is a mix of flu season symptoms with false positives from massive PCR testing campaigns running at ridiculously high cycles.

We have since moved on to analysing the vaccines and I have yet to see conclusive evidence from any of the activist groups looking into the matter. As far as I’m concerned, anything is possible right now – even the idea that graphene oxide and god knows what else is being tested in vaccines as a potential precursor to human augmentation. Either that… or the elite master farmers are trying to kill us deader than a hammer.

Everett attempts to gain control over Majestic 12’s communications network by releasing Daedalus onto the U.S. military networks, but Page counters by releasing his own AI, Icarus. Icarus merges with Daedalus to form a new AI, Helios, which can control all global communications.

Here we go… this is where everything ties together nicely and the overall plan begins to emerge. The global plandemic was simply a ruse, a setup to get people moving in the right direction. Now that half the population has been jabbed with god knows what, Cyber Polygon will be unleashed to great effect. Lights out, coms down, who knows what games will be played on us in the coming weeks and months. Not only could a major event like this consolidate power of global networks, it could also be used to start a conflict between the most powerful nation states. Martial law could be deemed a necessary measure to contain the chaos and from there… it’s a hop, step and a skip towards the zombie apocalypse!

Resident Evil

The Resident Evil videogame series shares so many parallels with the COVID-19 plandemic that it may as well have been the original script! What next? Zombie mutants walking among us as the Covid vaccines work their magic through late 2021? You can’t make this shit up!

The franchise follows stories about biological weapons and viral incidents.

Tell me more…

Resident Evil is Capcom’s best-selling video game franchise, with 110 million units sold worldwide as of March 31, 2021. It is the best-selling horror game series, in addition to the film adaptations being the highest-grossing video game film series, making Resident Evil the highest-grossing franchise in the horror and zombie genres. The franchise has been influential in popular culture, inspiring popular media in the video game, film and television industries.

Here you see the kind of influence that videogames and other story-based media can have on a whole generation, laying the foundation for future events to be interpreted in the way that elites would like them to be. Video games have military and intelligence agency consultants that demand certain story elements be included in the plot for public consumption. Predictive programming, dropping hints of possible future events, is very much part of the mixed reality we live in.

Earlier installments in the franchise primarily concerns a group of people who battle against the Umbrella Corporation, a pharmaceutical company which develops the T-virus and other mutagens for their secret “bio-organic weapons” research. The mutagens can transform humans into zombies as well as mutate other animals and plants into horrifying monsters.

It’s as if the Wuhan lab was built specifically to play this role in the real-life story of the coronavirus plandemic complete with rumors of gain-of-function research and scary-sounding spike proteins. In real life, the vaccines would be the more likely vector for introducing DNA altering drugs that lead to the proposed “upgrades.”

The original game and many franchise entries are set in and around Raccoon City, a fictional midwestern American city. The city and its outlying areas house several bioengineering laboratories belonging to the Umbrella Corporation, which develop viruses intended for use in biological warfare.

Again with the focus on American cities and a post-apocalyptic, End Times scenario right out of the Bible – the dead shall rise again etc etc.

The Umbrella Corporation, for me, represents the entire pharmaceutical-military-industrial complex. Whatever comes next involves a lot of biotech, genetic manipulation of all life on earth, transformation of God’s creation into something ungodly. I see nothing good coming from any of this activity. The people promising life extension technology, artificial general intelligence, self-driving cars, total surveillance of everything, bizarre medical technology that has little to do with health and more to do with tampering with the natural order, appear to me to be like demons tempting us, and more often now, literally dragging us down a path towards damnation. If the hand trying to save you smells like a rotten corpse it probably is one and you should hack it off machete style before it does some real damage.

Raccoon City is ultimately destroyed by a nuclear missile strike initiated by the United States government to contain the viral outbreak.

How many times have I seen out-of-control fictional situations finally resolved by nuking everything from orbit? It’s the only way to be sure… right? Whether it’s an alien bug infestation like in Aliens or a zombie overgrowth like in the recent Army of the Dead. Even Fear the Walking Dead got in on the act at the end of season 6 with a juicy ten warhead setup launched from a nuclear sub many years into the apocalypse. Remember folks… anything is possible in the writer’s room. Doesn’t mean it has to be believable.

With that in mind, our real-life hollywood script writers are always looking for an opportunity to carry out a rogue nuke attack and other such madness and mayhem as a way to start a major war, possibly as a false-flag event to blame it all on the right people, whoever they may be. Whatever it takes, I guess. I just hope that cooler heads prevail. Or that nukes turn out to be another big fake.

The Last of Us

The Last of Us is one of the best story-based games ever made. The realism, attention to detail, and character development rivals most movies and TV shows. The incredibly well crafted characters and world-building add a depth to the story-telling that moved players deeply in a way that was uncommon in videogames up to that point. Maybe that’s why the story being told holds more sway and much like The Walking Dead TV show allows us to immerse ourselves in future scenarios that are considered impossible or extremely undesirable in the minds of many a pampered modern day plantation dweller.

Little do they know that such emotional rollercoaster rides can happen at any time. All it takes is for the shit to hit the proverbial fan and all hell breaks loose.

So why is the game on this list?

In 2013, an outbreak of a mutant Cordyceps fungus ravages the United States, transforming its human hosts into aggressive creatures known as the Infected.

The Last of Us provides us with a deep dive into the following years after an outbreak – this time a natural fungus mutation – that leads to a total collapse of industrial civilisation. The various stages are accurately depicted – military checkpoints, transfer of refugees, the constant struggle to find food, medicine, weapons, ammunition, and supplies. Seemingly healthy people are checked for infection – asymptomatic super spreaders anyone? You see how easily we can descend into madness and misery if we allow the Elite Master Farmers to spin the right narrative. All it takes is for gullible people to be decieved and because they are the majority they tend to drag everyone around them into the pit along with them.

Twenty years later, civilization has been decimated by the infection. Survivors live in heavily policed quarantine zones, independent settlements, and nomadic groups, leaving buildings and houses deserted.

I would say it doesn’t take twenty years for this type of scenario to unfold. You only have to read Our Finite World to get an idea of how quickly everything can fall apart. International supply chains and just-in-time delivery of products and parts makes our current form of existence extremely vulnerable to systemic collapse. Of course, I don’t believe this happens because of a virus outbreak or other such nonsense, but when a system runs out of steam – namely cheap fossil fuel energy – it’s all downhill from there. We are already at this stage and much magic has been thrown at the system to keep the central columns standing, but time is running out and the modular nuclear reactors, the nuclear fusion projects, and the alternative decentralised monetary systems are taking far too long to materialise.

As life in the zombie apocalypse gets tougher, the tough have to deal with marauders, rival factions, cannibals, PTSD, and all manner of situations that would make anyone question their sanity as well as their humanity or whatever’s left of it. Even so, we are always offered a glimmer of hope that things will get better, that we can rebuild and survive as in times gone by. The difference today is that we have 4000 spent nuclear fuel ponds waiting to erupt as soon as they are abandoned by their irreplaceable technicians. This would make the challenge of survival a tad more difficult, not only for humans, but for every species.

Tom Clancy’s The Division

In keeping with the Tom Clancy series of videogames, The Division continues the tradition of hyper-realistic storytelling involving special forces operators executing critical mission objectives against all the odds.

Why is it relevant to what’s happening in the world today? Let’s take a look…

On Black Friday 2015, a viral epidemic, transmitted by a virus planted on banknotes, sweeps through New York City. The disease, known as “The Dollar Flu”, causes widespread chaos, and major cities are placed under quarantine. The U.S. Government activates sleeper agents in the population who operate for the Strategic Homeland Division, or simply “the Division”, to assist emergency responders and National Guardsmen, and the Joint Task Force (JTF), in restoring order.

Are you starting to see a pattern?

  • Virus outbreak… whether real of fake… check!
  • Mass media and government propaganda campaign to instill as much fear as possible… check!
  • Lock people up in their homes… mandatory quarantines… all kinds of checking for disease symptoms… check!

When games like this are telling us that Homeland Security, National Guardsmen, and undercover paramilitary operatives will be used to “maintain order” you can be sure that this is all protocol lifted from FEMA text books ready to be implemented in a city near you. We are already witnessing the breakdown of law and order in cities such as New York and San Francisco to the point where it becomes dificult to continue living there. The ones that remain will not be dealing with fantasy rogue viruses distributed on banknotes. They will have to contend with violent gangs and the possible intervention of military troops if and when they are deployed.

Agents also recover a sample of Green Poison. Studying the sample reveals the virus was manufactured and then modified heavily by a controversial biologist named Dr. Gordon Amherst.

There it is again. The virus is a genetically-modified bioweapon. It’s as if the writers are always trying to make us believe that such things are real.

New York is approaching stability, but an unknown signal leads the agent to a secluded laboratory.

This implants the idea that secret labs are operating outside the law. All kinds of illegal biotech research could be carried out in unknown locations, and of course, deep underground military bases or DUMBs.

There, they find Dr. Amherst’s remains, having discovered that he has died from exposure to his own virus.

The creator is killed by his own creation. Dr Frankenstein I presume.

They also find a message from Keener, showing he has the technology to manufacture a new strain of Green Poison and intends to do so, and mysteriously tells the agent to explore the center of Manhattan, called the “Dark Zone.”

Notice the Green Poison terminology which should give you a hint that this plot might be about an environmental madman wishing death upon the destructive virus that is humanity.

A new strain indeed! We have nothing but new strains going on in the world right now, each one with its own marketable Greek letter. We’re on the Delta variant now, soon to be followed by Epsilon, but don’t worry… there’s plenty of alphabet soup for everyone. This scam could keep running for a while yet!

The agent is informed that the information in the lab will further the development of a vaccine and is shown a recovered message from Amherst.

Our only salvation is through the Holy Vaccine and nothing but the Holy Vaccine. Any other remedies must be severely censored, mocked and shut down, especially if they’re really practical, effective, and cheap.

In the message, Amherst reveals he engineered Green Poison as part of his eco-terrorist plan to decimate the human race and preserve the planet. If the player follows Keener’s instructions, they will discover a message from Keener claiming that he plans to continue with Amherst’s plot, as he has come to worship the virus as the judge of all humanity and plans to reverse engineer and improve it; he then offers the player a position beside him based on their actions in the Dark Zone.

Bingo!! There it is. The true intent behind all of this garbage we are been dragged through right now. The Elite Master Farmers found us useful for a while, but now we are many in number and must be culled so that they can maintain their dominance. In order to achieve this goal, we are sold a cock and bull story about Globbly Wobbly destroying the Earth and us puny humans and our pathetic CO2 ouput are to blame. And we must be severely punished and reduced to nothing before the world catches fire. Capiche?

You see, the Holy Virus has come to judge us all and if you are considered worthy you will sit at the right hand of the Father – the creator of the Holy Virus. Forever and ever Amen.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tom_Clancy’s_The_Division

Such effective propaganda that a movie must be made to back it up although from now on anything with a virus outbreak in the plot will come across as really tiresome and pedantic. Remember… most Covidians actually believe the official story and that they are already living in a real-life fantasy feature flim.

The Division – IMDb
The Division: Directed by Rawson Marshall Thurber. With Jessica Chastain, Jake Gyllenhaal. In the near future, a pandemic virus is spread via paper money on Black Friday, decimating New York. A group of civilians, trained to operate in catastrophic times, are activated in an attempt to save who and …

WHO’s Responsible?

Well, apart from the WHO and the CDC and the millions of government professionals that didn’t call out the scam for a year and a half, we must look in the mirror and ask ourselves, “Did we do enough to spread the word, to wake people up, to jolt them out of the hypnosis and the heavy mind control?” Judging by where we stand now in this unfolding narrative, I think we may have underestimated how powerful the spell actually was. Maybe one day it will break, but it’s not looking good.

So who’s feet can we hold to the fire for all this science-fiction based predictive programming and preparatory propaganda?

Maybe we have Michael Chrichton to blame? The Andromeda Strain introduced us to a deadly extraterrestrial pathogen. So is that what’s going to be dished up next?

The Wildfire team, led by Dr. Jeremy Stone, believes the satellite—intentionally designed to capture upper-atmosphere microorganisms for bio-weapon exploitation—returned with a deadly microorganism that kills through nearly instantaneous blood clotting. Upon investigating Piedmont, the team discovers the townspeople either died in mid-stride or went “quietly nuts” and committed bizarre suicides.

Could be. It’s certainly a way to add the invasion from outer space ingredient into the mix.

We could also be looking at a merger of the tech invasion with the bio invasion. Whatever gets the terror flowing. We are being hammered with WEF propaganda combining terminology from biology and technology into a cyber-pandemic scare marketed as being much worse than the COVID-19 psyop. Event 201 predicted COVID. Cyber Polygon predicts a major lights-out event and global catastrophe crippling supply lines even more than they were during 2020. The zombies will be out in force baying for somebody’s blood, but will they pick the right target or continue fighting among themselves while the world burns?

Cyber Polygon, Dark Winter, Digital ID, And The Hunger Games
What do Cyber Polygon, Dark Winter, Digital ID, The Hunger Games have in common? Can total control of technology lead to societal collapse?

Conclusion

We now know that a global pandemic can be faked by simply using a PCR test to produce fake positives and that billions of people will gladly line up to be injected with experimental mRNA products for a disease that they don’t have. If the human population is already this gullible, and in such a vulnerable state, then what hope do they have when the next trick is dumped into their miserable zombie brains?

How bout all the mandates that the police must submit to the vax ? That will get rid of all the cops who are critical thinkers so the only ones left will be those who mindlessly obey their orders.

LOL Billy Bob – The words “Cops” and “critical thinkers” dont go together in any meaningful sentence.

I’ve worked with hundreds of Police, Alphabets, and Military over the years, and very few indeed were even close to having critical thinking skills. Some I worked with were borderline psychos and liked to hurt people, many others were simply “bully boys” who enjoyed their percieved power a bit too much.

It is interesting that almost no Police, Alphabets, and Military stood up and came forward to protect laws, rights, and liberties before they themselves came under the hammer.

The Cops I still know, along withthe alphabets I know, have ALL taken the jab, and some have expressed their displeasure of those who have not.

I have not taken taken the sh-t shot, but I know that in the near future I will be going toe to toe and head to head with some of the guys I used to work with when they decide I no longer have a choice.

The vast majority of the Police, the Alphabets, and the Military have already proven what side they are on, and it aint the side of the people. Getting rid of those wvery few who may be critical thinkers will not make a dent in the ranks at this stage.

Pretty sad when games and movies are becoming reality. But the problem is just that…reality, or lack of. There is a show for everything nowadays and people evade their miserable reality to watch “reality TV”. Other day I saw a commercial (I very rarely watch TV) for a show called ‘The Masked Singer’. Yes millions of people tune into a show where people come out in the most fucked up costumes and sing. That is why we are the laughing stock of the world.

Yesterday I mentioned predictive programming in connection to the article about fake meat.

Today we find this piece on…. Predictive programming.

Is Dr. Mechtin the Nexus of Space, Time and Reality? Does the Doctor mold and shape what you perceive to be your waking life?

I’m not saying this is the case. I’m only suggesting you give it some serious thought, and it couldn’t hurt to placate me with cash donations and assorted gifts. Just in case.

Also, this phenomenon has been going on for donkeys years and these video games are not even the best examples of it. The web of mind control is administered across many nodes and is well embedded long before teenagers nag their parents for video games.

Or did you think public schools were meant to provide an education?

Looks like you’re writing the script, Mr. Ivor. But all I can give you is an upvote…hope that’s good enough.

OT…I read Ashes of the Beacon. Bierce wrote from and interesting and creative perspective. He made good points about the weaknesses and flaws of a republic. I agreed with him on the problems with majority rule – and giving the unintelligent and dishonest a voice. I also agreed with him on the corruption of our legal system – can anyone really get a fair trial? I don’t think so. And, his points on insurance being a racket, companies’ stocks being legalized gambling, the problems with labor unions, the working class and their employers…all made sense.

But, it sounds like he preferred a monarchy over a republic. While he made good points, I still would rather live in a republic (not that I really no what that’s like since I’ve been alive) than a form of government controlled by those who consider themselves most wise. No form of government will ever be perfect. With all their flaws, our Founders created a unique system that has brought the most equality to the human race, while lifting many out of poverty. There is a reason why people risk their lives to come to our country.

I really enjoyed it and found his perspective interesting and educational.

btw…he seems to have some bitterness about women in the workforce and in political life. And, seems to think they’re all emotional man killers!! LOL!

Glad you enjoyed it! Bierce said things which strike you as being self evident once it’s said, and you wonder why you never saw it yourself? At least, that was my experience with him. In my opinion he was a true dissident; a man who walked to the beat of nobody’s drum but his own. Please read The Devil’s Dictionary next!

My take on his remarks re: women was not that he was being necessarily literal. That was most likely written around the time the Suffragettes were first inflicting their foul presence on an unsuspecting world. I believe Bierce’s point was that women were largely given a pass on the consequences of their choices, and therefore giving them the franchise was unwise. That was true then and now, in my opinion. Privilige without corresponding responsibility leads to license.

By the way, Florence King was also an avowed monarchist. I didn’t recommend books by two separate monarchists on purpose, but it’s kind of funny when you think about it. Anyway, very strong arguments have been made that the Enlightenment, and the corresponding loss of the monarchical system, was the final destruction of everything that used to safeguard the rights of the common man.

When you look around yourself today, those arguments take on greater weight. I believe monarchy is superior to a republic in terms of long term stability for the Regular Guy.

Considering the shambles our country is in currently, I will recognize that his arguments hold weight. However, it is not only our “republic” that is in trouble. Trouble is everywhere…in all forms of government all over the globe.

In terms of a monarchy being superior, it is difficult to accept that thought when we consider that the most progress humans have ever made in recorded history was after their human spirit was set free. Man had made relatively little progress before the principles of liberty were set forth in the Constitution…from thousands of years of plowing fields and hand-weaving clothes…to…walking on the moon (if you believe that’s real) in less than 200 years!

Under freedom in a republic, men were learning how to be free. Their creativity and experimentation flourished.

Bierce made a point that made me think…if women are excluded from making law, then should they even be held accountable for laws where they had no voice?

I’ll check out The Devil’s Dictionary. It may take me awhile as I have to keep up with some other reading for work. Thank you!!

I suppose it all depends on how you choose to define Progress.

It is true that technology grew exponentially over the past 200 years. But are people actually happier? Or is the average person actually far more miserable?

Alvin Toffler wrote Future Shock in the 1970s. The premise was that changes in technology would become so rapid that people would become disconnected from themselves as the world they were born into disappeared. I can absolutely relate to this in my own life and awareness.

I was referring to the quality of life which arises from connections with other people. Community. Identity. A place within a stable world that gave meaning to your existence.

Sure, everybody has cell phones and electronic dildoes and microwave ovens and gadgets As Seen On TV.

And everybody is half insane with loneliness and existential despair.

Before monarchy makes sense one must reevaluate what Progress is, and take a long look at the empty mantras of the Civic Religion: Liberty, Freedom, Enlightenment.

What do you prefer, ‘liberty’ or happiness and meaning?

Well, Ivor, I had a feeling this is what you’d say about progress…so you’re welcome…I handed you a winning argument on a silver platter. LOL.

“And everybody is half insane with loneliness and existential despair.”

Yes, agreed. Suicide rates among teens says it all.

Just have a feeling I’d be a peasant in a monarchy. I’d never marry for status or money, nor do I follow rules very well. So, from that perspective liberty seems more appealing. But, I see your point.

Ask yourself, who told you that to be a peasant automatically means you would be unhappy, stifled, unfulfilled? Aren’t the same people telling you how great all this Democracy and ‘ liberty’ are the same people who painted this grim, joyless, bread and water picture of all other possible ways?

I personally knew Amish and Mennonite women, the closest thing to a peasant the modern world can supply, and they are far happier and filled with contentment than the ‘liberated’ women on the 9 to 5 grind. Maybe they lied to you about all the glorious Liberty?

Aren’t the same people who talk about ” the freeing of the human spirit” that came with the Enlightenment the same people who brought you the ugly, soulless architecture that squats on this modern Utopia of ours, crushing the Human spirit with its discordant angles and drab colors?

How did the allegedly crushed and impoverished souls of the Monarchical ages create the gorgeous chapels and architecture of their times?

Why cannot Progress, Liberty, and Total.Freedom build anything that doesn’t look like a privy for invading armies?

“Ask yourself, who told you that to be a peasant automatically means you would be unhappy, stifled, unfulfilled?”

Being a peasant usually means you don’t have the same rights to education (and other things) as those of higher class…so I don’t have to be told I’d be unhappy, I KNOW I wouldn’t be happy. Even Jane Austen implies this in her own writings and was, as a woman, not taken seriously as an author in the beginning. Look at what an impact she’s had since she was taken more seriously.

“How did the allegedly crushed and impoverished souls of the Monarchical ages create the gorgeous chapels and architecture of their times?”

Who built them vs. who designed them? That’s a big difference. Besides, depending on the timeframe being discussed, expression via writing was not the main method of glorifying God. They glorified God through their awe-inspiring architecture. Once the masses became more educated in reading/writing skills, the glorification of God was expressed in other ways. Although, I will give you that we’ve become a godless society…which I believe is the cause of many of our problems…but this is not just a problem in the US.

I think compulsory education is a big problem as to why and how we became godless. I’m a big believer in doing away with traditional educational, and returning to the classical model that focuses on truth, beauty, and goodness.

You’re looking at this through the lens of your own time. There were no printing presses during the Age of Chivalry, the titled class wasn’t receiving “an education” either. And knowledge is a by-product of curiosity, not a benefit of social status. Information exists now, the commoner of the future will always have access to it if it interests him, but that doesn’t preclude that the destiny of the masses will almost always be to remain purposefully ignorant of everything except what is necessary for survival. Look at majority of Americans today.

For what it’s worth I’m a peasant- or as close to it as you’ll find in the West- and I’m perfectly contented. When I was in the 1% I was miserable, enslaved to a system I despised. How you live and how you feel about your life are personal decisions, not the result of economic status. The divide today is greater than it was in the Middle Ages, so much for progress.

“There were no printing presses during the Age of Chivalry…”

That was exactly my point as to why beautiful cathedrals were built then and not now. This is how they expressed themselves when glorifying God. Ivor asked why we don’t build like that anymore…well, I don’t think it’s because we are (or were) a republic. It’s because of the limited ways they had to express themselves.

“…the titled class wasn’t receiving “an education” either.”

Yes, they most likely were. They had private tutors that peasants didn’t have access to. Unlike today, where we do have access to unlimited information and books, peasants of the past didn’t have that. That was my point.

Look, I’m not a feminist by any means. I personally would rather focus on my own interests that do not include business, finances, or politics. I would rather the man handle all that, personally. BUT…as you can see, it has been mostly men who have led our political system…and look where we are now. So, the argument that this is all women’s fault doesn’t fly with me.

I see very few, to no men at all, standing up and trying to improve our situation, or at least fight back. It is women who are doing so…and moms for the most part. Why is that?

Ivor was stating the benefit of a monarchial society. I think more men should read Jane Austen to get an idea how women were not as happy under that system as you seem to believe. To have any quality of life for themselves or their children they would have needed to play the game and marry for status and money.

Now, today is a different world. You have made the decision to live as you do. You were not forced into it; it was a choice. And, you also still have access to an education if you so desire. That was not the case in prior monarchial societies.

Women with their hearts and minds in the right place have been standing up against covid tyranny because we’re dealing with an issue related to health and family and traditionally that has been the domain of women.

If we were facing marauders at the gates working class men would be stepping up a lot more as in the past.

But male activist doctors and scientists and lawyers are stepping up just as much as their female counterparts which is what you would expect as they have specialist knowledge that tips the balance and filters down to the rest of us.

As this unfolds, more men will heed the rallying cry as they understand what is really at stake.

Marauders were indeed at the gate when they were shutting down businesses, closing churches, demanding masks, telling you where to stand in stores with dots and arrows. Men blindly obeyed. They allowed their government to tell them they couldn’t earn a living or go to church! I didn’t see many men fighting back and refusing the overreach.

It was very disappointing. And…some men want women to just sit back in the background and allow the “man” to handle this?

I was equally disappointed as I witnessed from day one men and women bending over backwards to fall in line with the new rules. I was so angry that I had to stop being angry for my own health!

I was one of those types ranting and raving at other people and lecturing store owners and local police for a whole year but to no avail. It was all for nothing so I decided to regroup and prepare for what comes next. Still not sure what that entails as I’m pretty much on my own here. I would like to see some of these court cases come to fruition and the whole house of cards come crashing down. But I fear we’ll be subjected to the next wave of nonsense soon enough, if anything to keep people distracted and apathetic.

Abigail, I see I failed to convey the idea I had intended. What I was getting at was meant to amplify my point about what actual life as a peasant would have been like.

I’m reading a book now called Central Banking and the Enslavement of Mankind . After King Henry the VIII’s son expelled the usurers from England, the sound money policies that followed gave rise to the period referred to as Merrie Olde England.

Because they were not shackled with money based on debt, the peasants of that period ‘worked'( that is, labored to support themselves, worked in the sense you and I mean by that word today) about 40 days out of the year. They raised much of their own food and were not beholden to others in the way we are now. ( Note that these people were not serfs). They also had full access to the ‘commons’, that is, land that was open to any and all subjects for use in sustaining their lives ( farming, herding, hunting).

These people provided the actual labor to build the cathedrals. They volunteered their time and skills to erect those impressive monuments. They did those things because they wanted to, because they chose to, and because they could afford to.

The real point I was trying to bring out was the comparison between the supposedly downtrodden peasantry, whose free time and talents built the cathedrals, and today’s modern, ‘liberated’ wage slave, who considers his paltry 2 weeks paid vacation a ‘ benefit package’.

Saying I think monarchy would be preferable to what we have now is only half the picture. ( National Socialism would be best of all but they have worked morning, noon and night to demonize that system since it first created wealth without central bankers during a global Depression).

Monarchy ALONG WITH SOUND MONEY is what I would advocate.

I see and understand your point. I just know personally when I feel stifled or controlled, I become very unhappy and may act irrational. That’s just human nature, I think. Just seems to me the system you are proposing will have its own problems and its own lot of unhappy subjects.

I mean, come on…didn’t you ever watch Downton Abbey?? (kidding)

Side note: If I weren’t a Christian, I would say that some very wise people who understood human nature very, very well wrote the book. It’s all spelled out in the last chapter.

I’m not sure anyone is saying this is all women’s fault. I certainly am not saying that. What I am saying, and what I do say, is that Feminism is a great evil that has brought nothing but woe in its wake.

And think about what you are saying here: it is mostly men who have led our political system….and look where we are now.

Would you concede that our society, our nation, even the entire world was far more safe, orderly and stable in 1900 than it is today? Of course there has always been upheaval and tragedy and horror in the world, but as a general rule would you agree the world of 1900 was better than this one?

Would you further concede there has been accelerating decay, both spiritually and nationally, that has gone inexorably onward since 1900?

Has it never occurred to you that this general decline exactly coincides with the rise of Feminism, and the vastly increased influence of women’s participation in what used to be a strictly male sphere?

One of the early claims of the Suffragettes was that the world was in the mess it was because Men, with their crude sensibilities and blunt souls, were mishandling affairs. “Warfare would cease to exist if Woman’s refined, gentle natures held sway!” they said.

What does the evidence say? Why are things infinitely worse now? And why are Men still solely to blame?

Authoritarians are fearful people who lack faith in God. No effort has been invested in a system that allows for liberty and true consensus. We just get this childish strawman example of democracy leading to people voting themselves the treasury. That is just idiotic. That is not the only form it need take.

The more distribution, the more accountability, the greater the motivation for the individuals to avoid encroaching on each other. That seems like a better set of assumptions to start with. Not increased complexity, but limited jurisdictions and authority that is not chosen by selection (the present system) but by ELECTION.

Our current system does not have elections, it has selections. At a minimum the candidates select themselves. In an election, they would not. That distinction should have some place in how a real government should work.

If people had to be accountable to each other instead of to abstract concepts, it would go a long way towards containing psychopaths from achieving power.

I appreciated the insights into the modern video games, Tsubion. Thank you.

Given my age and time of life, I had a mild interest in pinball machines that gave way to a more extreme involvement with the early video games like Asteroids and Defender. One day, I realized I was wasting too much time so I just quit cold turkey.

Then, as a young adult, I was gifted an old-school (circa early 1990s) Nintendo and decided to put that away after completely mastering Duck Hunt and Mario Brothers 1,2, & 3.

As a result of those experiences, I made sure we had zero gaming devices in my home while my offspring were growing. The result? Stellar grade-point averages.

So, it was interesting to read how tech advancements in gaming have aligned with current events.

Recently, on another thread, Ghost reminded me of an article I had posted here (back in early 2019) on the Netflix movie “Birdbox”. At the time I, albeit optimistically, considered the film as a means for navigating our uncertain future.

In retrospect, however, I can see how that film might also have been just another example of predictive programming. Ghost commented that the movie was “prescient” and, now, I tend to agree. It was about blindfolded people trying to navigate a world falling apart while trying to avoid dying from terror at the sight of unseen monsters.

Prescient, indeed.

Thank you again for the above insights and perspectives.

I experienced a similar trajectory to yours. And came to the same conclusion in the end. I don’t play games anymore even though I was hooked for a while. Even now, gamers will deny the addictive nature of their “pastime” while they ratchet up thousands of hours on Steam or whatever.

I see the same happening with endless video streaming content. It’s very easy to become dependent on podcasts as a form of companionship leading to further isolation.

I still watch a TV series or two and am still genuinely entertained when the quality is high, but it has also become fashionable to critique these products with frame by frame overanalysis and that is also a product of our time.

I feel it’s time to be grounded in nature again.

When examples of comfort from these nightmares appear on the scene; let’s take the “rapture” of the body of Christ, before God pours His just wrath out on this most deserving world as an example, the comforter is attacked! Now that’s really strange. It’s as if the doom porn is a necessary part of existence for some; an addiction to which ALL must suffer. Comfort from impending doom must be crushed. There can be no comfort, no peace of mind allowed. Strange indeed…

1 Thessalonians 4:18 KJB… “Wherefore comfort one another with these words.“

1 Thessalonians 5:11 KJB… “Wherefore comfort yourselves together, and edify one another, even as also ye do.”

Thank you Paul, I will take comfort in your Spirit inspired words. For those interested in Biblical comfort, I’d encourage you to read the entire letter of first Thessalonians. Six times does the word appear. Religionists had been terrorizing these believers and Paul eased their minds.

2 Thessalonians 1:6 KJB… “Seeing it is a righteous thing with God to recompense tribulation to them that trouble you;”

I can save you a lot of typing…

Fear gives power to Satan

Love gives power to God

You’re welcome.

Isn’t it amazing how many people reject their creator, just because they are pissed off about all of the freedom of agency? Well, He did say that eventually it will all work out, it is just going to be a long back and forth struggle. Life is a process, its fuel is love.

Sounds alot like it backs up the theory we are living in a simulation or video game.
