Youngkin Will Allow Virginia Counties, Cities, K-12 Public Schools To Mandate COVID-19 Vaccines And Masks
Virginia Republican Governor-elect Glenn Youngkin will reportedly allow local mask and vaccine mandates to be implemented, including in K-12 public schools.
Glenn Youngkin, the Republican Governor-elect of Virginia, will be allowing localities in the state – including cities, counties, and public school systems – to implement mask and vaccine mandates, but says he will not impose a mandate at the state level. This differs from Republican governors in stronghold states like Florida, which have banned the practice of mandating vaccines outright.
While Youngkin insists that he will not mandate masks or vaccines, he is not going to block localities and K-12 public schools from implementing them on their own, breaking away from actions taken by other Republican governors who have attempted to block localities from implementing mandates their respective states.
“Localities are going to have to make decisions the way the law works and that is going to be up to individual decisions but, again, from the governor’s office, you won’t see mandates from me,” Youngkin said in an interview with local media.
Youngkin has previously called himself a “staunch supporter” of the COVID-19 vaccines, despite the fact that the experimental injections do not prevent the transmission of coronavirus, contrary to what was initially advertised by the federal government, major pharmaceutical companies, international bodies, and even President Joe Biden himself.
“My family has gotten it. I’ve gotten it. I think it’s the best way for people to protect themselves,” Youngkin said. (READ MORE: Two Texas Children Vaccinated Without Authorization While Trick-Or-Treating, One Immediately Experiences Adverse Reactions)
Youngkin’s ultimately successful gubernatorial campaign was largely centered on fixing Virginia’s broken public school system, ending tyrannical COVID-19 lockdowns, and stopping mandates. During a debate with failed Democrat candidate Terry McAuliffe, Youngkin slammed his opponent for wanting “employers to fire employees who don’t get the vaccine.”
When pressed further by NBC’s Chuck Todd, who was moderating the debate and asked the Virginia Republican whether he believed that “measles, mumps or rubella is a personal choice,” Youngkin emphasized that “the data associated with those vaccines is something that we should absolutely understand the difference between this vaccine.”
Experts, including Dr. Ben Carson, have signaled their disapproval with the FDA and CDC decisions to approve COVID-19 vaccinations for kids and have pointed to children’s extremely low mortality rate from coronavirus and the unknown long term impact of the injections – which were approved by the FDA despite health officials being aware of numerous injection-related adverse events affecting children.
“Plus we don’t know what the long term impact of these vaccines is, so this is really sort of a giant experiment. Do we want to put our children at risk, when we know that the risk of the disease to them is relatively small, but we don’t know what the future risks are, why would we do a thing like that?” he continued. “It makes no sense whatsoever.”

Sadly, I believe this is just the first salvo of information coming out on this guy. The day he was elected Garrett Ziegler, who reported to Navarro in the Trump administration outed him as a RINO, at best. We’ll see as the weeks and months unfold on this guy.
No mask requirements. But, he’ll let local despots do the dirty work.
He sure ain’t no DeSantis, alright.
A 25-year Carlyle guy makes me scratch my chin.
The Carlyle Group should give anyone pause…
The Carlyle Group is a private investment bank which doesn’t come to the publics attention very often but it is one of the biggest American (ed: USA) investors of the defense industry, telecom, property and financial services.
The first few minutes of video are in Dutch, the rest is English. The translation for the first few minutes…
“The war in Iraq does not seem to be over at all, but in the meantime the rebuilding has already started. This has unleashed fierce competition for contracts, which are mainly awarded to American (ed: U.S.) companies.
What is remarkable about these companies, is that they have people on their payroll from American politics and the military. Is this a conflict of interest, or is this the new global way of doing business?
[text in the screen at this time reads: ‘the iron triangle’]
One of the companies that operates in this manner is the Carlyle Group.”
On their payroll are people like : George Bush (Sr.), James Baker III and old premier John Major.
I worked for Robbins-Gioia, an Alexandria, Virginia Program Management company run by a couple of retired military dudes who used their connections to military people in high places to get some decent contracts in Program Management and propel themselves into a lot of big contracts, one of which I worked for at Tinker AFB.
The third year I worked there, the company was sold to the Carlyle Group and the contract was lost within a year. The Carlyle Group didn’t understand they needed to hire a certain high ranking former officer from time to time to keep the company relevant to the military leadership.
The Carlyle Group was all about cutting costs. Why hire a retired General when a retired Major would work for half the salary?
It was a completely different atmosphere in the office. I didn’t last much longer, but I did go out in a blaze of glory.
You went out in a blaze of glory? Do tell….
A blaze of glory as in…
Did you ever have to deal with the slugs in the 8A world? Ten times worse at best. They have to hire help to get their own jobs done……
The pejorative RINO has no bite when the whole party behaves the same. Traitors of a different color than the other traitors.
His CommDirector is a homo w/ preferred pronouns in his bio. He is a Heritage thinktank grad and get this: Guy Benson, sezs he’s the bomb! Steve Deace and Co were talking about him on his Friday show.
Unfortunate for Virginia because these types of mandates have become a political football. The red areas of the state will more than likely not issue such mandates but the blue areas like Fairfax country certainly will.
My fellow Virginians were presented with two choices on election day, by our (((political systems)));
1. Pretty bad / Youngkin.
2. Super awful, full on dictator, even worse bad / McAuliffe.
Yea, Paris, 1789, is looking really really “deja vu” familiar right now….
And the sad truth is that if Youngkins were more solid (by our criteria), he probably would have lost some women’s votes in NoVA and wouldn’t have won his razor-thin victory. Yeah, it sucks that he’s no DeSantis, but the fault is really with Virginia voters. Kristi Noem, on the other hand, has no excuse for being such a phony corporatist squish.
I am totally sure voters decide elections. Completely confident in that.
How many NVa..say from Fairfax Cnty voted for Youngkins? About 20%.
There is nothing stopping the people of Virginia from taking this guy out of office. Whatever it takes to turn the population into a raging inferno. Surround the statehouse and don’t leave until he is out. SOLIDARITY.
You must be a Biden voter ?
Why? Please explain this display of extreme stupid.
Would you rather have the Commie in office ?
That didn’t explain it it only confirmed the supidity of your comment.
Fuck off, Wilbur.
So you thrice confirm your stupidity and then seal it in concrete by asking Bl if he lives in VA.
You are a special kind of stupid.
What the hell are you talking about gatsby? NO and I don’t want RINOs in office that are ok with masking and killing children. Is it that you don’t understand that RINOs are the same animal?
Do you live in VA ?
What is the relevance?
Like 90% of the GOPee? Nope
AmeriKans are too busy..Oh! And cowardly.
It would be even better for the people of Virginia to take care of business at the LOCAL level and insure that mandates of ANY specification are not allowed and then this turns into a ghost turd of a problem…….
The last paragraph is in quotes but not attributed. Who said it?
Dr. Ben Carson.
Tnx
Dr. Ben Carson, I think.
Expecting someone from the Carlyle Group to save you may be a long wait.
Did anyone imagine this former head of the Carlyle Group, the deepest of the deep state actors was another Ron Paul? Remember Tucco’s line in the Good, The Bad and The Ugly: “One bastard goes in and another one comes out”.
Meet the new boss same as the old boss…
Ron Paul was from one congressional district in Texas. Virginia is pretty much a blue state (or lean blue) at this point. Youngkins may be the best they can get. Does that suck? Yes, it does.
Virginia is a deep Red state with an occupational government.
My real point is to distrust and hold in contempt ALL politicians. Did you hear that MAGA people? I personally hold politicians on a hate scale. So I hate Rand Paul a bit and Lindsey Graham a lot. Anyone spending OPM deserves contempt.
That was a short honeymoon. The slimey, backstabbing rino isn’t even in office yet and he’s already adopting the liberal/progressive agenda. He states he will let local government determine how to apply the “law”?! WTF? Joe Biden’s so-called mandate has been struck down by the 5th circuit court, and will likely be buried forever by the 6th. There is NO LAW! He got elected by promising to protect children and parents from government overreach, and now will allow Fairfax, Loudon, and other insane counties to sacrifice children on the alter built by Moloch Fauxci. One termer, if he doesn’t get recalled first.
Preach 150!!!
And the GOP can’t figure out why they’re losing support. This guy seems like a republican in name only so far.
The Virginia GOP is especially RINO.
These low level bad actors just must think they won’t face a lamppost one day regardless of fake party affiliation.
at least he isn’t Terry McCauliff…
But if he acts no different than McCauliff, what good is he???
It was meant to echo the “he isn’t Hillary” I said after Trump won.
He isn’t Lucifer yet either….
But for all you know, he may be…
And we’ve got the next four years to find out….
Paris, 1789, here we come!!!
I am so tired of the Republican’s stabbing me in the back. I am ready for a Third Party that will not backstab it’s supporters.
#WINNING
Red wave coming soon, y’all!
Bet it will smell just like a summer Florida Red Tide…..
AA,
A rid tide was supposed to come at the end of 2020 also. What happened?
Besides, I don’t care what color the tide is, I care that it is a conservative tide.
GNL…I was being cynical. I absolutely did believe it was going to happen in 2020. Put my heart and soul into working on campaigns for various politicians. Worked on an election fraud case for a local judge whose opponent was backed by Soros money. Was intimately familiar with the Dominion issues. Saw actual proof of corruption from the Secretary of State and Governor in my former state. Saw some conservative politicians sell out.
We were completely fooled. I refuse to vote anymore. Even if we saw a conservative wave, it’s still all a game. They will pick the winners for a certain reason and it has nothing to do with our best interests.
I refuse to participate in the game anymore…at least on this side of the shit show.
I might vote locally, and maybe in state elections (less likely), but in federal elections? Nope
Vote harder.
The plebs are still dreaming that someone in GOP will stand up for them. Nope. It’s a class war, and the elite which is paying the politicians could care less about the lower classes. Same as it’s always been.
The squeeze on the plebs is brutal, the more so as 90% of them do not even understand what is really going on.
Note how no one in GOP came out and bluntly explained to the plebs what this is all about. Yet they all know the game and they all know the plan. And they are all in on it.
Now put on your mask and obey! …And obey the sheep will.
Virginia is a “Dillon Rule” state, not a “Home Rule” state. Local governments have very limited authorities, and can pass ordinances only in areas where the General Assembly (which meets in the state capitol in Richmond) has granted clear authority.
The more things change the more they stay the same.
And the beat goes on, laddy daddy de.

This character is a big buddy with the magic underwear crooked banker ( that Mormon Romney) who ran for president back in 2012. I knew he would be another useless prick, a fucking RINO, an appendage of the elite deep state. Voting truly is useless, and will be until they’re all hung from lamp posts.
I’m not sure VA law allows local vaccine mandates. Maybe in the schools but beyond that I don’t think so. VA doesn’t allow localities to do much of anything independently.
another voting success story. more cowbell!
Mitt Romney 2.0
This is no surprise to anyone who knew he is a professional shabbos goy corporate parasite.
When TPTB “approve” of both candidates, THEY always win.
Are the young finally waking up?
Virginia – the California of the East Coast. Red counties ruled by the blue cities. All the Republicians are RINOs. Tribal BS everywhere you go.
I can’t wait to get the hell out of this state. Just a few more months…
What state?
Back home to WV.
Hillbilly,
Come on, no way is Virginia the east coast California. That would be NY.
GNL,
You would be correct. My hatred of this state makes me biased so a bit of exaggeration creeps in.
Surprise and disappointment in Mr. Youngkin should be reserved exclusively for the ignorant folk who expect the government to change stripes. Youngkin is a proud prog. Less irritating than his opponent, but not substantially different.
If voting made any difference they wouldn’t allow it. True that.
The tyrants are multiplying.
It reminds me of the scene in Fantasia where Mickey casts a spell on the broom and it all gets a little out of hand.
Although the chaos Mickey causes was unintentional, there are no accidents in politics.
Just one more freaking fraud.
So, they elected a Dem after all.
About half of Virginia is a lower suburb of Babylon of the West. It is like a cancer growing.
They have destroyed some once beautiful land forever, from the Bay to the Valley.
I’ll sorely miss Desantis should he be propelled up the ladder.
Meet the new boss, same as the old boss.
The voters in VA got played…..again. Another RINO and another “election” to make you believe the myth we really have a choice. But don’t worry. Just vote harder in 2022.
