It is almost certain not to happen in Oz. Same way it is almost certain not to happen in the US. If it were going to happen, given all that has happened, it would have done so already. And as always, I do not advocate such. By and large, I think people are getting exactly what they want, and they are getting it harder and harder. The system will eventually implode, and then all bets are off.

A full posting about what areas of Australia are insane and which aren’t (and why) would be interesting. In the U.S. it seems to be almost as simple as a rural/urban divide. Is it that simple in Australia?
Tree farmer – imagine Oz as the US. It is just like that. The big cities are insane, some more, some less, and the rest of the country generally not. There are only 5 big cities.
For whatever reason, insanity takes over the populations of big cities.
But the whole of NSW shut down because of one case, and it could have been a false positive. Looks like the state complied, though we saw no news except for the protests and heavy handed police in the cities.
If being trucked off to a camp isn’t reason to shoot the bastards who are going to do it then nothing is. Be prepared to be executed if not by forced vaccination then by a bullet to head because that is where forced marches to your camps lead.

What you wrote just drives a dagger in my heart. Used to love going downtown to the performing arts center. Can’t believe it’s gone downhill like this before our very eyes. And, the mountains…I won’t even mention it…don’t want to cry.

Our village elders, thankfully having some wisdom, have decided to opt out of allowing pot shops here. They are going to have the citizens vote on it next year, but knowing my village, we will overwhelmingly disallow any pot shops opening here. We are rural and the drugs/meth and no bail crap in NY state is problems enough. Same guys getting in trouble over and over again without being held in jail. Probably 20 at most. At least we have a list and will deal with them in the future. Don’t need any pot shops here to make it worse and add to the troublemaker list. Villages all around us are also opting out of the pot shops.

Well Artist I live in that Forest that burned in 2013 just south of “The Hill” and I can assure you that I and many of my friends, relatives, and neighbors are prepared for just that eventuality.

My wife is spend Thanksgiving with her brother in northern California, home of the smash and grab by sub humans. If it even smelled like that in my town in CO I would have the guns out of the state mandated gun safe (of last July) fast as well as many others in this county.

All employees were urged to get a concealed carry permit as the thought was that law enforcement could only arrive to draw a chalk line around your body. 2) no health services
3) uneducated entirely (see 1 above)

5) they are entirely incapable of making decisions with respect to a modern society. Entirely. You cannot understand how far behind the modern world they are unless you have seen it for yourself. In fact, without breeding with other races, they will never, ever catch up. Never.
6) my estimate of the deaths by percentage would be in double digits – say 15% of those that catch it in those communities might die. It would be similar to what happens in an old folks home.
The politicians see it this way:
1) do nothing and watch them die in large numbers, which will see extreme bad press worldwide
2) try and do something, by isolating them, moving to them to where medical care is, etc. and suffer the bad press of that.
The politicians have chosen door number two. Not the right choice, but I almost understand.
