Saw the whole wall production tour in L.A. way back when, was a hell of a show and party.

I believe they only did 12-13 full production shows in the US.

The wall slowly built up on stage thru performance and in end crashed down.

The only down side was nothing but wall that night, was hoping for a few tunes after the wall came down, still,a great experience.

Watched the movie a few times. Last time about 12 years ago I said no more. It depresses the hell out of me.

Amidst some of the childish sounds between songs is some of the best music produced in the past, uhm, 42 years. Today’s musicians only wish they could write and perform music this good.

JJ makes me wish I’d not chopped the cherry tree down all those years ago (even tho it was me or him). And he also reminds me that the second best time to plant cherries is now.

My college roommate bought it, on the first day available and played it over and over and over again. And when he was done, he played it over and over, and over again.

If I never hear it again it will be too soon.

This was first “new” album by the Floyd that I heard. I was already into the older albums but never heard them as new releases. Sine then I have seen it 2 times in London by the group and once in Berlin on the site of the earlier communist wall but that was Roger Waters and “guests”.

Nowadays I just go and see a fantastic Floyd cover band the Pink FLoyd experience, https://youtu.be/YP2tkTis_HY

I thought Animals was a great album and everything after that from them was garbage barge turgid crap…just my opinion..!
