But it reminded me of this…haven’t thought about it in many decades…you saying “around tuit” made me laugh out loud and have a flashback!
Back in the day…during my corporate career when I would re-visit subordinates who had committed to various assigned tasks…and they said to me after a later ‘unannounced’ close inspection:
“I didn’t get around tuit”.
(I was their boss and sometimes their bosses’ boss)
I would smile and would pull one of these out of my pocket.
And then say:
Here is your last ROUND TOIT…
I will be back to collect it (always with an agreed upon date)…to re-inspect whatever was promised but not done.
I never, ever, had to give out a ROUND TOIT a second time…to the same person…and once word spread the need to even give the first one out was significantly reduced.
I think Peter Drucker once said: “Inspect what you Expect”.

I realized after I told Abby I’d try to create a bullet list just how difficult it is to categorize her replies. Her comments are chock-full-of-facts that could inform a dozen people a dozen ways.
