What you suggest would be about as useful as calling the cops. The police basically never prevent crime, they merely show up to document it. They do however seem to COMMIT crime on a pretty regular basis and very rarely get punished for it.

I always though that a trespass offense has to be initiated by the owner of a property. No complaint, no charges. It is strange to be considered a trespasser while the restaurant owner probably did not mind them eating there and paying.

In the US a very high percentage of people work for a government (fed state county). And for many years they’ve been just your neighbors who work at the courthouse. Most have been pretty friendly with exceptions of course.
Now they are feeling their power. One instance is I’ve talked to several people who have had a hard time just getting their car plates changed over, and many more stories of takeover by nosey people out to ‘helpyou’. That are really just customer service with the power of law (usually really just rules, but they don’t know the difference).
Perhaps I notice it more since my state has been very relaxed and is currently being taken over, then add in the plandemic.
Down with bureaucrats and tax collectors. They are NOT your friends. We really have to quit being so NICE. I don’t mean to be rude yourself etc. but start talking about it and don’t let them off the hook. Being honest is not impolite.
