a long time ago , a friend of mine asked what I would do if I knew a nuke was coming. Sit close enough so you are converted to energy when the blast happens. Nobody wants a week of dying from radiation sickness.
Get serious. Outside the blast area, and a lot of people live there, you will need 8 ft of earth to protect yourself from the worst fallout to be expected. How long you have to stay there depends on the total amount of fallout around you; probably at least a couple months. The main problem is enough water and food; store up enough for several years because we will probably be in a Nuclear Winter (a FJB caused Mini-Ice Age) and crops won’t grow. If you should come across any surviving liberals, enjoy some fresh Longpork.
