That said,tis only the beginning and folks across leaf land must protest/march/speak up across the country this weekend,do not let it be a one region event but make it nation wide.

Are you doing a 4×4 conversion or an AWD? GM made a really good AWD van but of course dropped it five or six years ago. Ford supposedly has one now but their stuff gets about two miles per gallon. Mercedes has a 4x4Sprinter and they are fantabulous and made in South Carolina, but they are $70,000 to the low six figures.

Decades back dropped a E-100 van on a Ford Highboy pickup frame,truck had rolled but frame and running gear all good.I might have in my youth gone 4 wheeling with my buddy Jack and,well…….,my only defense is stupid youth!
I later picked up a Dodge 70’s van that was again a dodge van someone dropped on a d-250 running gear frame,just sold a few years back.
I decided recently my life was not complicated enough and thus bought a 1981 Chevy van with 4×4 Pathfinder conversion.As being a old/New England van has been patch welded and resprayed,not pro but looks good at only 2 feet away to discerning eye/has a new crate 350 4 bolt main/rebuilt transfer case/rebuilt transmission/gone thru completely axels and oh,the rear is a 10 bolt corporate with semi float.
Warchild(vans name) needs new seats/seat belts/different tires& wheels/wiper motor/gas gauge wired/door panels/manual window regulators/stereo and a bunch of other odds and ends.
I will also be doing a lot of lower rhino lining on body/at same time tale off new front and rear chrome bumpers and lining the inside of them,and,am sure will be doing more!
I hope to have road ready late spring and when done will be into it for 22-25 grand,still,less then half price of say a new truck.
I like a vehicle that has a carb/manual fuel pump/and high -low beams that are switched by foot!

I don’t see how Justin can let these trucks get within 100 miles of the city, but he will have to shut down all of the highways coming from the west. The closer they get the more the disruption.
On the upside,no trucks/no deliveries.

Great summation of my childhood (in the 50’s), James and it is probably the reason my wife & daughters do not like to see me playing with the grandkids and great-grandkids. We play rough with few rules.
One of the great things I remember about my childhood was lunch was served by the Mom whose backyard we were playing in.
