A Johns Hopkins professor slammed his own university and the establishment media for failing to report on a major study that concluded lockdowns have been almost completely ineffective at curbing COVID mortality rates.
As we reported yesterday, the study was authored by multiple eminent researchers at the University and concluded that lockdowns “are ill-founded and should be rejected as a pandemic policy instrument.”
The authors wrote that “While this meta-analysis concludes that lockdowns have had little to no public health effects, they have imposed enormous economic and social costs where they have been adopted.”
Appearing on Tucker Carlson’s show Wednesday, Johns Hopkins professor of surgery Dr. Martin Makary blasted the college, noting “Johns Hopkins itself did not even put out a press release about this study, and if you look at the media coverage, it’s one of the biggest stories in the world today, and yet certain media outlets have not even covered it.”
Makary urged that the reason for hiding the study is that “people may already have their own narrative written” about the effectiveness of lockdowns.
The professor dug down into the study and noted that it found that the number of lives saved by the lockdowns is infinitesimal compared to those lost through missed cancer diagnosis and treatment alone.
“It was 124,000 excess deaths in year one. So, over two years, it was about a quarter million people who died,” Makary noted.
He added, “I think the public is hungry for honesty and basic humility from public health officials.”

Senator Rand Paul also referred to the new Johns Hopkins study in an appearance Wednesday, noting “I hope we’ll learn from this the study. There was no correlation between any of the mandates the government put in place and any change in the incidence of the disease.”
Paul reminded viewers that Anthony Fauci has repeatedly claimed that lockdowns have saved millions of lives.
“It’s become so politicized that I don’t think Dr. Fauci will ever apologize or admit to the country, but we need to have people like him removed from office because they’ve been so wrong on so much policy,” Paul urged.

Other Republicans commented on the Johns Hopkins study Wednesday.
Sen. Roger Marshall, R-Kansas told reporters “Bad judgment and poor leadership from our nation’s health agencies have caused most Americans to live with an unhealthy fear of COVID-19. There is no doubt, we need a new approach to COVID as we must learn to live with it.”
Marshall echoed Paul, stating “That new approach should not include Dr. Fauci – American’s don’t trust him and he has lost his reputation. We must stop the obsession with COVID, stop living in fear and move forward.”
The latest developments come on the heels of 70 per cent of Americans asserting that it’s time to live with COVID and get on with our lives.

Hopkins as an entire network from college to hospital is big on protocols and image ! This sometimes leaves gaps between what is done and what should be done !

I was fortunate to have a successful kidney Transplant there by wonderful people that were caring and competent !
BUT protocol called for an antiviral drug to be stopped 6 months out from transplant .
The transplanted organ had a CMV virus that that drug kept under control . 10 days later GBS sets in crippling me for weeks and resulting in blood clots in my legs . Back on the antiviral weeks go by with physical therapy and walker to cane to walking but neuropathies in my feet and balance issues for life !
Still I have now lived longer than any in my family with this kidney disorder !
Along came Covid vaccine push for all transplant patients “PROTOCOL” ! Not for this cowboy !
I listed the side effects from the vaccines and said to the pushy MD : I’m already fighting and controlling 3 of the major side effects ! ! How can you possibly recommend this for me !

Interesting, in that Johns Hopkins was at the forefront of sources dictating what policy BS was pushed in the early stages.
I remember seeing their name mentioned when this shit broke loose in January of 2020.
They dropped the ball on this, and after 2 + years of untold damages left in the wake of their narrative,
seem to be incapable of admitting that they phucked up bigtime, until these guys started speaking out.
Maybe some pure bloods who knew people associated with JHU started confronting them on their narrative.
One wonders if they’ll be shown the door, or be blackballed as the CMF’s (corrupt MFers) double down
to try and save face.

I gained 50lbs. Lost the weight but I think there is something to this idea that lockdowns were harmful.
Still have not got around to getting the experimental vaccine, maybe I should hold off on that as well.

If you work for JHU, in particular the Bloomberg School of Public Health, you’re working for globalist evil. If Makary didn’t know this, it’s his own willful blindness and the need for his ego to not suffer the slings & arrows of being thought a “conspiracy theorist”.
The lock downs and the fearmongering were about mainstreaming the idea that nobody would be safe voting in person and that absentee ballots for everyone was imperative. That provided the means to orchestrate the coup against Trump and the will of the American people. The destruction of the global economy was important as well, but seizing control of the US was imperative as any real freedom here would have inspired other countries much as the truckers are now doing. Unless you connect the entire plannedemic and lock downs to the election theft, you have missed the whole point.

It’s just another bad flu season to me. It did help some people make billions and showed how people can be manipulated by evil people and popular media. It also showed how weak many are and how skepticism and common sense are in short supply.
