From what I have seen in previous videos, it is common practice to sit down while the hecklers are doing their thing and then to start speaking when they quiet down.
I don’t know anything about big trucks, but somebody on Twitter yesterday said that if the truckers cut their “air lines” (?), the brakes would be locked up and the trucks would basically be immobile – even if they could find towing companies willing to tow them (which has been a problem for the Ottawa police).
The only thing better than seeing Trudeau have to buckle on the vaccine mandate (and maybe be forced out of office) would be seeing all the liberal control freak voters lose and not be able to force their fellow citizens to get worthless shots they don’t want.
OK, now drop the mandates, however, larger problem might ensue … QR CODES… what happens if they drop the BS, but still say you need to show a QR code to enter a store, buy a pair of jeans, enter a store, pub, anything. NO QR you are still F*CKED…. what is on that QR??? everything you know and own…. all bank info, who you are, where you live, your “Social Credit Score” (ask China) …..
Not exactly true I think. From what I remember, a lifetime ago, you can back off the 9/16″ adjuster to the point the brakes no longer contact. That is why it is so important to check and adjust the brakes on air-brake vehicles.
Not true about the air brakes. Spring brake chambers use a powerful spring to apply brakes for parking. Air pressure overcomes this spring and releases the park brake. Service braking (foot pedal brakes) is air supplied to a separate part of the chamber. In the case that the brake has to be released without available air pressure there is a mechanical device attached to every chamber that allows manual releasing or “caging” of the spring thus allowing the wheel to turn.
The caveat is that the caging device is essentially a long bolt with a T-shaped head. If someone were to take a 3/4″ wrench and spend 30 seconds under each axle with spring brakes, well, that would make the truck damn difficult to move.
ya, but you need to get to the back of the truck to get the rear wheels off the ground…. good luck… you seen the pictures?? lol

Both the tractor and trailer have separate air-brake systems that are engaged and disengaged by manual knobs in the cab. Generally, the regulator will shut off the compressor after the lines are charged to around 120psi. But when a system leak occurs, an alarm will sound at around 60psi and then an emergency “pop-out” activation will automatically engage/lockdown the brakes at around 20psi. So, when going down the road and losing air pressure, the alarm causes the driver to pay some attention to the air pressure gauge. If it’s dropping fast, the driver needs to find a place to park, quickly, before the brakes lock up.
Once the emergency pop-out occurs, though, both the tractor and trailer become like metaphorical beached whales. This is because you can’t disengage the brakes again until the system is repaired and recharged.
And there are so many ways the truckers could play havoc with their beached whales. They could remove all of the “gladhands” that connect the airlines between the tractor and the trailer or cut the lines, or, even, simply open up the various valves on the trailers. They could disable the compressor as well. Furthermore, on many rigs, air is used to drop the rear of the tractor so the trailer can be disengaged.
Regardless, there aren’t enough large towtrucks, or operators, to move all those beached whales. It would be a real mess for those who would dare try. I suspect, this is why the truckers are so confident to just sit and wait; and/or get arrested: Because no one can evacuate a beached whale effectively except those who are willing and able to do so.
Trudeau may not know it yet, but, if he wants the capital opened back up, he’ll have to drop the mandates. So sooory, Justin. Sad (for him) but true.
Now, it’s up to the truckers. They are in the driver’s seat, so to speak. So why not sit tight for as long as it takes? What will they lose that they won’t lose anyway?

That said,I know a lot at moment not to much Neil fans but heard this when I was 12 and now many decades later still love this song!I heard this along with Tull/Zep?/Doors /Hendrix as a little kid along with a whole lot more.

Next escalation? Best guess: Parking full fuel trailers under critical bridges, and igniting them.
A few trucks blocking streets, not making deliveries and making lots of noise. This is the peaceful rebellion stage. We know what comes after that when TPTB make peaceful rebellion impossible.
At some point the grid becomes the target. When transformers start getting bullet holes and interstate power line towers knocked down, the whole grid can go down. That is the Achilles heel of the state.
No sewage pumped, no water pumped, no gas pumped, no communications, no lighting, no automatic doors, no subway, no elevators, no alarms, no airport lighting or radar, no cranes unloading ships……….. the end of civilization as we know it.
When a man has no hope and nothing left to live for, there are no limits to what horrors he can inflict. Things are heading in that direction frighteningly quickly.
Prepare for living like it is 1820 again. Ask anyone who lived through the Serbian troubles what that is like. Then imagine it continent wide.
