This is the latest January temperature record produced by satellites accurately taking global measurements on a 24 hour basis. It shows barely any deviation last month (0.03°C) from the 1991-2020 average as shown by the blue line. The 13 month red line average reveals movement of just over 0.1°C. Furthermore, the satellite record is now revealing no global warming for seven years and three months.
The data is compiled by Dr. Roy Spencer from the University of Alabama, who was kicked off Google Adsense recently for publishing “unreliable and harmful claims”. The move demonetised Dr. Spencer’s monthly satellite update page by removing all Google-suppled advertising. Google says it will ban all sites that are sceptical of “well-established scientific consensus”.
Dr Spencer has been compiling satellite temperature data for 43 years and has received awards for his work from NASA and the American Meteorological Society. He is currently working with NASA on the Advanced Microwave Scanning Radiometer flying on the Aqua satellite.
Satellite data shows less warming than surface measurements, which are prone to the bias caused by urban heat distortions. In the U.K., many of the recent “records” arise from city-based recorders. In July 2019, a U.K. record hot day of 38.7°C was produced in the middle of Cambridge, a city that has grown by 40,000 people over the last 40 years. The U.K. Met Office seems particularly keen on promoting its thermometer readings at Heathrow airport, a massive industrial estate with acres of concrete and tarmac and constantly moving jet aircraft. Needless to say, the surface measurements are the record of choice for media and political thermogeddonites.
However, not all surface measurements accord with the well-established scientific consensus. The recent news that the South Pole had its coldest six month winter since records began was largely ignored by mainstream media. In the world of green political activism, all surface temperature measurements are equal, but some are more equal than others.
Away from the surface distortions, satellites take constant measurements as they circle the globe. The seven-year standstill is graphically shown by further work from the University of Alabama, below.
Over a seven year period the trend is zero. Over 100 years the extrapolated trend is +0.01°C. Margin of error stuff of course, but probably nothing much to worry about. If temperature keep on rising at this rate, we will hit the 2°C ceiling rise set by the Paris climate conference around the year 3000. Back of an envelope calculation, we should hit the Net Zero 1.5°C target in about 400 years’ time.
This complex modelling of course assumes that global temperatures never fall again – a first for Planet Earth.

You need to go look at the individual data points for certain areas an watch them for a period of time. I kept track of this one summer for the weather in TX. They report monthly averages that was completely not supported by the daily highs and lows. It is a tedious job but that is the only path to the truth.
Unless you have performed this experiment, you cannot take what they say as gospel.
We have already had 4 snow/ice events in W TN this year and usually maybe get 1. Last year, we got a big snowfall that was on the ground 5 days.
The planetary temperature has been rising for the past 10,000 years or so. There are many known cities around the world which are now under water (Cuba, Egypt, India, etc.). This is not because the people 10,000 years ago were driving SUV’s and using coal to power generators.
Climate always changes.
CO2 accounts for 0.04% of our atmosphere, and humans contribute less than 5% of that. All the climate change BS is just another way to control your peasant ass.

Here is a view over the past 500k years. This sums it all up. People need to STFU about the earth getting to warm. We are nowhere near record temps but you need to look at a larger period then their IQ.
Zero lows <32º F. in the SC Coastal Lowcountry the last 3-4 yrs. This year? Three. And BRRRRR, two at 28º, wind chills in the low 20s. Plus, much lower average highs…10-15º below the normal 60-62º.

I am not shocked. Anyone else shocked? It has been getting cooler for years on average and it will continue to do so until the sun decides to make it warmer.
1991-2020 average? That’s a fantastic time period to choose if your goal is to pretend that there have been no changes (and even then, 0.1 degree is nothing to sneeze at).
If your goal is an honest assessment of actual changes, keep trying. *Anyone* who spends any significant time in the natural world has seen serious changes over the last few decades.
My lifelong republican uncle (born in 1913), who spent a good portion of his life farming in southern IL, was apparently unaware that conservatives are supposed to pretend climate change doesn’t exist. One of the last things he said before he died was “Don’t let anyone pull the wool over your eyes — things are definitely getting warmer.”

Facts: Since 1859 the Earth has been going through a geomagnetic excursion. The North & South poles are actively moving, a fact that is well known especially to the airline industry. In other words, the N&S poles are going to flip within approx. 20 years, which has occurred in the Earth’s past every 12,000 years per the geologic record. In addition, the Earth’s protective magnetic field has become weaker and will continue to become weaker until the magnetic poles flip. Currently, the Earth’s magnetic field is at approx. 80 – 85% of it’s normal strength. This allows for cosmic radiation to penetrate the Earth’s atmosphere increasing seismic, volcanic activity, and ground to sky lightning. The Earth’s core is acting like a capacitor. In addition, cosmic radiation can be dangerous to biological organisms including human beings. All the above mentioned will only become worse each year until the magnetic poles flip and the Earth’s magnetic field become negligible. The most significant concern is something NASA and astronomers have recently become aware of and that is all stars have “reoccurring nova” which vary with each star, or in our situation, our sun. A “Nova” does not mean the destruction of the star or sun BTW. Our sun based on the geologic record, data collected from the moon landings, and ice core samples shows our sun in fact undergoes a “micro-nova” every approx. 12,000 years. When this occurs the side of the Earth facing the sun at the time of the nova will be obliterated as there will be almost no magnetic field to protect the Earth. All this will culminate into an ice age. Many are aware of this 12,000 year cycle and have been aware since the 1950s including Einstein. The elites would have us believe we are going through an anthropogenic climate change event while failing to disclose what is actually going on. Surprised?

While the graph is not long enough to say for certain, it appears to be a 20 year cycle, which is now reverting to the mean.
I’ve noticed that when reporting the temperature in the summer, they don’t give the actual temperature anymore (not where I live.) They give the ‘feels like’ temp which is higher, of course, due to humidity. NORMALLY, here in SW Arkansas, we have at the very LEAST 3 days of triple digit heat. For the last 2 (maybe 3) summers, we never reach 100 and winters have been harder, dipping below freezing for week stretches which rarely happened before. Later ‘last frost’ date by at least 6 weeks as well.
I don’t bother with that stuff or data. I just go outside and see that nothing changed with the weather where i live. So I know all is good and well and never believed that global warming sh it.
Especially when I see the ‘elite flyng more private jets than ever and when I heard Al Gored leaves his SUV running so it can be cooled by the time he gets in or that mansion of his is all lit up with a $700 dollar a month electric bill is what made me believe it was all bull sh it.
