When peaceful protests don’t work, what do ya do? Most of the states on the east coast resemble Ontario’s rules and laws and Government style. Three more years of this crap? I have been actively posting on Facebook for three weeks. Started again because wife went on a trip and I needed to be able to contact her since I don’t own a phone… Anyways my faith in humanity is gone. This place I live in is far moar dystopic than even a contrarian like me could ever have imagined. The comments of Trudeau’s acolytes, some of them my family and friends, are actually quite disturbing. I really thought there was some shred of humanity left in them. But no, many of them are cheering on this abuse of power. Many applaud the police trampling that woman with her mobility walker. They say she was warned, chose to be there anyways, and serves her right…. unfuckenreal!
Could I be rounded up in coming pogrom. It is looking increasingly likely. I made the mistake of posting to the official Facebook page of the Mounties of Nova Scotia.. All true but methinks my insolence was not well received. My account was shut down about 20 minutes later. I could not post anything or even delete what I had wrote. Quite scared of what happens next but on the bright side, if there is one, it was going to happen sooner or later anyways..

I have a “community page” called See MO’ Bootheel Friends where I used to post old photos of my father’s with quaint stories he used to tell. At one point, about 20,000 people were viewing my posts.
I share the occasional story from Francis Marion’s updates, along with Gigaohm Biological and I never check the feedback. If you can see it, tell me if people are griping at me for not entertaining them with my father’s old pictures instead of trying to update them on current events.

I remember when BLM & Antifa were causing problems where I used to live and local authorities told cops to stand down…while people got hurt and businesses burned. (and my friend’s brother was shot and killed!) The anger just rages on.

While a good portion of us do not deserve what is happening to this country, it appears a vast majority do.
I can send endless evidence that we live in a totalitarian dictatorship police state and they will ignore it or claim it is “conspiracy theory”, dismissing it without thought. Then they will quote something from CBC/CTV/Global as “the truth”.
There is not going to be any real revolution because way too many Canadians are “Good Germans” and too fucking stupid to even look up what that means or the implications.

I echo your sentiment. People against the tyranny of the past two years are in the minority. How do I know these as facts/accurate? My own boots are om the ground. My employment entails my talking to many people. Level head people, knowledgeable in the facts are few and far between.
No different here in the U.S.. No different anywhere.
