Not worried I won’t ‘know’ something in time, anything necessary seeps thru. If this is mostly a mind game, this approach may actually be the real shield creating/the only real/personal ‘reality creating’ defense/attracting the right place at the right time choices. We don’t know what the Russians or the Chinese are saying, but we definitely speak and read English and have been keeping close tabs on the ceaseless font of disinformation we have come to count on in the West. I can’t think of any Chinese or Russian propaganda I have fallen for since I don’t really care all that much about either country except for how they affect us locally, which is to say not at all. I do care about living in a country that has made a business of lying to its population to keep them in a perpetual state of anxiety because of their ceaseless fear-mongering.
This is much more of a remove the plank from your own eye before you complain about the mote in mine moment.
I don’t believe that you are amused as much as disheartened to see that there are large numbers of people who’ve grown tired of the bullshit and lies, and yes we’re far more angry about it when it comes from our own media, political and academic institutions because they are the ones who are supposed to be looking out for us, not some money laundering hidey hole 10,000 miles away. Binary? Where do I suggest that? What I’m pointing out is the (naive, blind, stupid, or corrupt) automatic assumption that whilst ‘our’ media/pols are lying, ‘theirs’ aren’t. That the self-serving, fawning articles, by those part of the very regime they so extol, are received unquestioningly.
I have as much disgust in our (western) pols and .gov as anyone but … I don’t assume (as so many here seem to do) the claims of other (demonstrably, not just ‘as’ corrupt, but actively evil) foreign governments that they are better.

For the record, I’m not an ‘internet’ person, I live/work/converse in the real world. As such I ‘miss’ the ability to emphasize aspects of a statement (used by normal people in conversation to explicitly indicate the tone and meaning of said statement).
I’ll quite happily admit my grammar skills (let alone punctuation – I was once commended for an after-action report, for it’s clear, concise and descriptive language.
