I see no way of resisting the trend of the Great Reset by force and therefore an alternative localised and self-sufficient economy is the only way I see of countering this takeover of the global economy by the central bankers operating beyond the established democratic model we have all been used to for hundreds of years. BUT – WAIT A MINUTE maybe this is all pie-in-the-sky because if this Ukraine conflict escalates to a nuclear confrontation we are all in a lot more trouble than suffering a Digital ID economy. I lived through Britain’s preparations for a nuclear attack in the 1960s & 70s which I described last week but perhaps readers thought it rather extreme.
Do people know anything about the consequences of such a conflagration? Europe, and the UK specifically are in for a very difficult time. Even without Ukraine, the world was facing a food shortage beginning this fall because of Brandon’s anti energy policies and the effect they had on fertilizer production.
Now that both fertilizer and grain exports are being curtailed in Ukraine and Russia, the situation has become a full blown crisis, and of course it will be much more extreme in Europe and the UK. It will effect everything from grains, to meat, to vegetable production.
Add to that the impact of the imposed oil shortages and the situation becomes that much worse.
In order to deflect blame for this catastrophe from themselves, our respective governments will need to redirect public anger to external sources and therefore to war.
I cannot imagine that war will be direct confrontation against Russia, or China, because they have a defense pack, and to attack one will mean war with both. This would be a war that could not be won with conventional weapons, and realize mutual assured destruction if it went nuclear.
My guess is that the Ukraine war will soon conclude, and a new proxy war will begin somewhere else, possibly Africa or the Middle East. Somewhere the logistical advantage is not skewed to Russia and China’s advantage.

This is all good news to the criminal socialists running our nation right now. Talking about another government handout to “help” with energy costs is just a way to assure that prices don’t come down, and the government will be called on for another handout and another. All with newly created dollars that can only exacerbate the inflation caused by prior handouts. Exceptionally high energy costs are exactly what those pushing solar and wind want, because those technologies are only cost effective if other energy sources are much costlier than they are now.
I would love to have solar panels power my house even part of the time. In summer the heat of the day uses Air Conditioning a lot (although I’ve read that high temperatures also reduce the efficiency of solar panels as much as 20%.) To that end, I’ve gotten quotes four times in the last five years. In spite of talk of prices coming down for solar, the payback (initial cost less projected electric bill reductions) has remained at 13 years.
And that 13 year payback is without taking into account repairs, maintenance, and the cost when the roof has to be replaced. I’m within five years of the age my parents were when they died; my wife is already past the age her parents died, so 13 years is a little optimistic for us!
Wind is not even remotely feasible in a suburban neighborhood. Geothermal is a no go as well down here in southeast Texas (have to go too deep). And of course, none of the alternatives are 24/7 producers. My calculations on lithium ion batteries like the Tesla Wall are even worse, as the battery has to be replaced before even reaching breakeven, so it never pays back.
The only thing that would make these alternatives economically feasible would be if the cost of natural gas and electricity were to triple or quadruple. And that is why “our” government is doing its best to make energy, as currently produced, too expensive for anyone but themselves. Kudos to the congress for demonstrating how to look out for…themselves, with a 21% raise, while people on Social Security apparently only needed 5.9%. [sarcasm]
Once again, the nuclear option is look more reasonable, although in this case the nuclear option is to Nuke DC!

With reference to the coming Cyber Attack and economic collapse, the once popular Youtuber, “The Underclass Guy”, (sadly died 2019) predicted these events and more to come, way back in 2014. He put out a whole series of audio-only videos predicticting the events we have seen over the last few years with astonishing accuracy.
He got “Virus Scam” and the “Digital ID before Digital Tyranny” predictions 100%, and he even used the words “Lockdown” and “Domestic Terrorist” in his “countdown to global shutdown” video. These terms were years before they entered the common language.
Sadly, his channel was removed years ago shortly after his death, but there are a few of his old videos still posted on other peoples channels here and there, including Part 1 of an explaination of the “Cyber Attack” he predicted was coming back in 2014 (Part 2 predicted a digital Biometric ID “Beast System” arising from the ashes of the old economy) . I can only find part 1, a repost from 2019, but it is worth a listen by those who like these prophetic sort of things:

It’s easy to say that no sensible person wants nuclear war, but there are those in the west who feel it would be “winnable” (maybe for those in Mt Weather and other government bunkers), and certainly Russia has put far more energy and resources into civilian nuke shelters than any western country has.
More likely it would be an EMP attack or cyber attack against the US power grid that makes more sense to an enemy state, this would not risk the ire of the rest of the world as most countries already hate the US for nearly a century of interventionism at the point of a bayonet, and the US population could decimate itself in the aftermath without any appreciable loss in property or resources which could then be taken easily by an adversary. China has alrady stated the intent to occupy the US.
The problem is, there is no such thing as a sneak attack. Missile launches are detected almost immediately. It is not possible to know if the ICBM is nuclear, conventional, or intended as an EMP. At the point it is launched, and its trajectory determined to be a attack on the homeland retaliatory missiles are launched. From that point on it is all in.
A cyber attack might do it.
Cyber attacks happen on a fairly regular basis. They are minimally effective, as a tool of war. The notion that a cyber attack that would take down the entire system is a myth, it could not be done. It would require an astronomical amount of secret knowledge about the coding and security systems that would be impossible to acquire.
The US spends obscene amounts of money on cyber warfare, and if it were possible to bring down an entire network you would see them doing it to Russia right now.

The bible, God’s word, assures us that the earth will still be here for 1000 years after the close of the tribulation 7 year period. There certainly could be a large percentage of the population done away with before the whole thing starts because most of the deaths during the tribulation are listed as (the third part of the earth). Is that 1/3 of 7 billon or 1/3 of 3 billon? We do not know! Simple way out of this however! Put your complete faith and trust in The Lord Jesus Christ as your Savior! I served in the 321st SMW at GFAFB ND and at Hqs SAC in the 1970s and 80s; our nukes were smaller MIRVs and targeted Russian military facilities, not cities; the Russian nukes were big and targeted our cities. My gut feeling is things have gotten even more stupid/worse. PS: I’m old and slow, of course “C” varies in nature or glass lenses and prisms would not work (the wave front bending is due to the difference in speed C thru the medium). Pretty sure Light also bends in Gravity Fields in Space and suspect that affects C.
I too am old and not so wise – but I am sure your info is still valid. For example. My wife has just applied to renew her South African passport and the forms, I noticed, still have those little boxes which we used in the 1960s on an ICL 1900 when I was a systems analyst using COBOL. They must still have the old mainframes in SA which is why nothing works. I progressed via IBM360, Dec PDP1134, and VAX to finally the Xerox Delta in Palo Alto in 1981 until the Commodore CBM then arrived and we all gasped, as we got down to ‘Basic’ for the duration!
