Neil Oliver is a danger to all authority. He is intelligent, and has common sense. That means the present group(s) in power are unable to counter his arguements with reason. Sooner or later the politicians, bureaucrats, and health authorities will use coercion to silence him. Hopefully the public will rally to support him.

What Neil Oliver describes about life in Britain is true of Canada and most of the world. I am a history major and cannot find anything in history that is so persuasive globally as the tragedy/catastrophe of the covid era. Usually history rhymes ( as Mark Twain said, or was it Hemingway?) but this is incredibly unique. Maybe the bible has an example when relating the tale of Sodom and Gemmoragh. We are in trouble. Neil Oliver is incredibly perceptive of what is happening in the world but I do disagree with him on one point. All debts get repaid, just that in some cases the repayment method is much more painful than in others.
