Officials Manipulated COVID Data to Exaggerate Crisis, Mathematician Tells RFK, Jr.

Guest Post by Susan Olmstead

“Data was very easily used by influencers and decision-makers to fit particular narratives,” Norman Fenton, Ph.D., a mathematician at Queen Mary University of London, said in an interview on “RFK Jr. The Defender Podcast.”

From the outset of the COVID-19 pandemic, Norman Fenton, Ph.D., could see health officials were misusing data and misleading the public.

A professor of risk information management at Queen Mary University of London, Fenton is a mathematician who focuses on critical decision-making and quantifying uncertainty.

Throughout the pandemic, he closely examined and criticized how officials used data to make decisions about lockdowns, testing and vaccines.

Fenton spoke last week with Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. on “RFK Jr. The Defender Podcast.”

“When the COVID pandemic emerged, what kind of challenges did you specifically see?” Kennedy asked Fenton.

Fenton replied:

“It was clear I think from the start that most of the data that governments put out — not just the UK government, but most governments around the world … were kind of misleading because it was based on very easily manipulated statistics.”

This was true of both the nature of COVID itself and the vaccines, Fenton said.

“There was an immediate rush to draw conclusions, which were sort of based on over-simplistic data on case numbers and deaths,” he said.  “… the problem was that that data was very easily used by influencers and decision-makers to fit particular narratives that exaggerated the scale of the crisis.”

Fenton’s team published some of the first research providing more accurate estimates about the infection rate versus the fatality rate compared with official estimates he said were based on faulty data.

The research showed the virus was more widespread than people assumed, but nowhere near as dangerous as was being claimed.

Fenton also addressed issues with PCR tests.

Although it was clear early on that a proper understanding of the virus depended on accurate diagnostic tests, he said, “we were initially led to believe that the PCR test was an accurate diagnostic test.”

“But later, of course, we discovered that wasn’t true. And the impact of that has been catastrophic,” he said.

Kennedy agreed. “The magnitude of [the epidemic] was enormously and deceptively amplified by the misuse of the PCR test,” he said.

Fenton first came under attack in the summer and early fall of 2020, when he challenged how COVID deaths were classified, he said, and questioned the widespread testing of asymptomatic people.

“That was when we were finding the real problems about the false positives and the scale of the false positives,” Fenton said.

Excessive testing led to “absolutely ridiculous decisions,” he said, including new lockdowns.

Information concerning deaths following COVID vaccination also was manipulated, Fenton said, as part of the official claim that the vaccine was the only way to keep people from becoming seriously ill and dying.

Data adjusted to take into account misclassification show a peak in mortality shortly after vaccination, he said, cautioning:

“Now, of course, it could well be that these are people who are indeed immunosuppressed seriously. Also … the vaccination might just be bringing forward the death, which would’ve occurred shortly afterward anyway.

“But nevertheless, that’s what we believe is there in the data, but is of course being hidden.”

If you need a mathematician to explain to you how officials manipulated people during the flu season, you just might be a sperg.

Once the truth was out regarding how the PCR test worked and how amplification cycle numbers could be manipulated to achieve virtually all false positive results, the rigged game was obvious. This happened shortly after the plannedemic began.

And yet, what percent of the populace is even aware of that fact and understands what it means?
10%?
This is why we’re screwed.

Most people aren’t capable of processing information beyond survival level.

Hard fact, but true.

Very few can think rationally and critically. I cringe sometimes that even my wife who holds a fairly high position in nursing with her ability to reason. It takes an excessively long time for the light bulb to come on. And that’s at the dim setting

But its worse than that I fear. They can no longer use any rational thought or logic to even discern between facts related to their own survival. Critical thinking is gone, logic is gone, blind faith, even in their oppressors, is the rule of the day.

Well, it’s not accidental. Everyone knew the kids in school who got great grades but couldn’t reason their way out of a wet paper bag. Everyone learned in college at the latest that the object of the game was not to think, but to regurgitate. Schooling in America is operant conditioning to reward those who, no matter their raw intelligence, turn off the part of their brain that does reasoning.

This is how we get highly intelligent, very highly educated people who will not think. In some cases that “off switch” is selective, and whether they think or refuse to think actually depends on the topic. In any case, individuals have been conditioned to hit that “off switch” by a system of rewards and punishments and in most people there’s no turning that switch back to “on”. Even if one could, for most people it would be like taking a plaster cast off of a leg that had been in that cast for years — atrophy.

The system knew what it wanted long ago, and they knew how to get it:

“Governments don’t want a population capable of critical thinking, they want obedient workers, people just smart enough to run the machines and just dumb enough to passively accept their situation.”

I tried to share the truth at every opportunity possible (see the post above….”Have you ever been banned?) for how that turned out.

When panic & fear are propagandized and reasonable questions are answered with threats and lies by omission and those asking the questions are labeled with the preverbal scarlet letter and censored my bull shit alarm went off !
It is rarely wrong !
Evidence : people I know ran out and got vaxxed ASAP yet these people give more thought to picking a restaurant 🤪WTF

“It was clear I think from the start that most of the data that governments put out — not just the UK government, but most governments around the world … were kind of misleading because it was based on very easily manipulated statistics.”

In other news – water is wet. ALL statistics are very easily manipulated, and very often are. A good book to read is “How to Lie with Statistics”, which was written in 1954 and is still in print. (I read it for one of my classes in junior high school in the late ‘60s.) Any individual or organization that wants to push a particular agenda, which definitely includes most governments and politicians, will invariably manipulate all statistics to support their agenda. That is why I ignore all statistics, even those from organizations that I support.

It was obvious from the beginning of the scamdemic that virtually ALL of the statistics on COVID-19 cases, deaths, mask efficacy, vaccine efficacy, etc were meaningless. Of course, in the case of COVID-19 it was particularly easy to realize that all of the statistics are meaningless, because COVID-19 (SARS-CoV-2) doesn’t even exist. I know that most people, including even many of the commenters here on TBP, still think COVID-19 is real, but it isn’t. A particularly good post on what is really going on is the following.

if you ask me, “manipulating the data” is limited hangout

Yeah, I think this has been proven and quite obvious. In my county, they only came up with ONE scare story in the paper to vouch for COVID. Nobody could question the story or who the guy even was but he told the story and saying COVID is real. Young guy too, to scare the rest of us into compliance. He was the only story to be printed up the whole time. Just ONE.

There were also all the bots online (including one or two I saw here at TBP) which all went something like this:
“I was skeptical at first too; but then I caught Covid and let me tell you, you don’t want to get it.”
In any case, the wording was always similar and it was almost always a brand new commenter in a comment section and almost never a follow up comment on any other subject. They were everywhere for a while.
