Nationwide Baby Formula Shortage Hits “Shocking” Levels, Sparking Panic Among Parents

Authored by Jack Phillips via The Epoch Times,

A nationwide shortage in baby formula is worsening, according to a new analysis, as parents have expressed alarm over the worrying trend.

At retail locations across the United States, about 40 percent of the top-selling infant formula products were not in stock for the week ending April 24, said Datasembly. The company said that it tracked baby formula stock at more than 11,000 stores nationwide.

“This is a shocking number that you don’t see for other categories,” Ben Reich, CEO of Datasembly, told CBS News.

“We’ve been tracking it over time and it’s going up dramatically. We see this category is being affected by economic conditions more dramatically than others,” Reich added.

Previously, drugstore chains like Walgreens and CVS have announced they would limit how many baby formula products each shopper can purchase at a given time.

In a statement, Reich cited inflation, product recalls, and supply chain shortages as why there is “an unprecedented amount of volatility for baby formula.” And he believes that the shortages will continue in the near future.

“We expect to continue to see the baby formula category being dramatically affected by these conditions,” Reich said.

Baby formula stock, which has been one of the more affected categories so far in 2022, and one that will continue to demonstrate higher than average out-of-stock levels.”

Meanwhile, some parents have expressed alarm on social media about the apparent lack of infant formula on shelves.

“If the [mainstream media] can talk about the toilet paper shortage ever [sic] hour, they should be talking about the baby formula shortage at least,” Danielle Miller, a mother, wrote on Twitter last week.

“We ended [up] finding the Amazon brand online but not everyone is so lucky to be able to feed that. Please share. This is every store!”

“The baby formula shortage is unreal!” GET THESE BABIES SOME FOOD!” another mother wrote on Twitter along with a photo of empty shelves, adding that “it’s a crisis all over.”

Another parent, Irene Anhoeck of San Francisco, told local media that “we’ve noticed it being difficult to find maybe a couple months ago—two, three months ago—and then just recently we can’t find it.” She added, “We’ve tried all the local Targets. We checked Costco, Costco online, Walgreens, Long’s. Can’t find it anywhere.”

In February, a major baby formula producer, Abbott Nutrition, recalled numerous lots of its products following reports of bacterial illnesses in infants. Last week, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration issued a notice to consumers telling them not to consume any products manufactured at Abbott’s facility in Sturgis, Michigan, over concerns of contamination.

If the jab doesn’t kill them, starvation will. Elections and court cases aren’t going to fix this.

How did the human race survive without baby formula factories!?

If you say wet nurses and cows then you should consider accepting science as your lord and savior.

Actually goats were more common for milk than cows in times past.

Well, ok, I’m gonna eat a little crow here…THIS is a problem in my area! I know of some parents who are in complete PANIC because they cannot find baby formula. I know if I had a starving baby, my primal instincts would kick in and I’d do whatever necessary to get my baby food. Wonder how this will turnout…

Well…you know the saying ‘everything is bigger in Texas’? Lots of women in these parts have implants that make it difficult to breastfeed. They are dependent on formula. AND…they have guns!!

Factory formula is food in the same way McDonald’s is food. You feel full now but suffer major health effects later.

If mom can’t produce and there’s no overproducing donors around homemade formula is the way to go.

Thanks. I will pass on this recipe. I have no idea if they know how to make it or not. Probably not, I’m guessing.

Back in the day anyone needing baby formula, they had to make it themselves or find a wet nurse.

Let’s not forget goats milk. Look it up unless perhaps it’s been scrubbed. Very easy to digest compared to Cow milk and more like mothers mild as well. I wouldn’t touch comercial goats milk any more than I would commercial cows milk.

You can’t get goat cheese around here, so next year we are going to try some dairy goats and I look forward to it. I also want a couple of A2/A2 jersey/guernsey, if I can find any.

I just love soft goat cheese in my eggs.

If your little one is ready for solid foods, you have numerous nutritious options at the supermarket, such as iron-fortified cereal, to feed your baby. And, if you prepare homemade baby food, you have even more variety: Not only can you pick from an assortment of fruits and vegetables in the produce section, but you can also use frozen veggies and fruits canned in their own juices.

Making your own food can help expose babies to more flavors, which may help them become more adventurous eaters. Furthermore, by managing added sugars and salt, you’re in greater control of your baby’s nutrition.

You have no idea how close you hit to the mark.

Let’s just say that when a child chews gum, argues logically with you, can do simple multiplication or write the own name in cursive, it’s time to wean.

Mighty convenient for travel, but I will miss it like I miss diaper changes.

Formula contains a decent amount of cyanide, too. Look it up.

Goats milk is the milk that is closest to human breast milk. It is great for infants that may have allergies with cow or soy milk.

First thought- great way to make sure infants that didn’t get the jab get it from Mommy.

If it is genuine, however, you just saved male babies from a future as a female impersonator.

“However, according to the study published earlier this month in the Journal of Clinical Endocrinology and Metabolism, infants exclusively fed soy-based formula are highly exposed to estrogenic isoflavones, which can interfere with babies’ normal hormonal development.

“Soy formula contains high concentrations of plant-based estrogen-like compounds, and because this formula is the sole food source for many babies in the first six months of life, it’s important to understand the effects of exposure to such compounds during a critical period in development,” said Dr. Virginia Stallings, co-author of the study and director of the Nutrition Center at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.”

Should also mention that women diagnosed with breast cancer, should never touch any soy product.
One of my best friends just had a radical masectomy and was never told about the high levels of estrogen in soy.
Also need to mention that this woman, like so many other people lately, are showing up with aggressive cancers.
All were vaccinated!

I was taken in by a baby formula scam in Salvador, Brasil. The kid asks you to buy formula for his mom & baby sister. He won’t take money, but insists you buy the formula at the store.

Then, after you do so, he brings it back to the store and gets half the cash, the rest goes to the store owner.

After I fell for it, someone told me about the scam.

I wonder how many scams I’ve fallen for that no one ever told me about?

God … I wonder what my mother did when I was born in ’47 — and there was no ‘baby formula’ in the stores? Or what my grandmother did when my mother was born decades earlier? Or what the entire human race that is NOT in the first world does today?

Somewhere … somehow … the human race survived very well before the advent of baby formula … in fact, we may have died younger (though not all did), but we also didn’t have to worry about the life threats we’ve got today on a mass scale … like deadly ‘vaccines’ forced upon US by sociopaths in high places … etc.

When all else failed, my mother used to make a ‘formula’ at home from real milk plus some other stuff … not sure what …

I remember at one point as a child my mother making a “homemade” fromula.
Use a clean/sterile 1 quart container
a 13 oz can of evaporated milk
18-19 oz of water (spring water)
2 Tbs white granulated sugar or 1 Tbsp light karo syrup

My wife looked online and found skaty-eight recipes for homemade formula. And I’ve often marveled at the poor problem-solving skills of young people today, given that they only search the big chain stores and Amazon for formula. Every large city in this country has small grocers in the ethnic neighborhoods, and they’ll always have formula for sale. You may not like the price, and don’t bother asking for a receipt, but you can get formula. Just takes some creativity.

And there’s always the tit.

What happened to good ole fashion way of sucking tit? Im nearly an old man and I still love sucking tit. Did women forget what the tits are for? Or did the chemical poisons in the food, water, pharma and shots rend them dry of milk?
