Clint Eastwood

He’s been around the lot — actor, producer, director, musician … his eventual departure will leave a noticeable hole in the industry … and what wasn’t to like about his ’empty chair’ speech to the RNC?

MrLiberty

Clint Eastwood – at least he self-proclaims to be a libertarian. Has also done great acting work of course.

Here he is with the only other actor I would list – Manis, the orangutan who played Clyde:

There are a few. Clint Eastwood of course. Patrick McGoohan – Dangerman. Donald Sutherland in many epics. Willem Dafoe in Platoon – classic acting IMO.

Patrick McGoohan was great in Braveheart, and in the Columbo episodes.

Dementia Joe is doing a great job acting as president.

He’s playing the role of an incompetent™ at the highest level of democratically elected leadership position in the western world™ so you don’t see who is actually running things, and you don’t blame them for what they are doing like unleashing face-ripping inflation while also collapsing the supply chain INTENTIONALLY.

As a matter of fact he’s gotten so many to continue to believe in the false Democrat — Republican spectrum of politics, when in reality it really is as Yoji commented:

It is no longer a “left – right” political spectrum, it is a Logos – anti-Logos political spectrum.

Logos = those who support Truth, Natural Law, and God.

Anti-Logos = those who support lies (anti-Christ spirit), neo-feudal law, and lucifer/satan.

That’s the only way I can look at the world now, and if you use the Logos Spectrum the world makes perfect sense. It applies in every situation. It correctly explains all human behavior (it also explains all historical behavior over the last century as a bonus). It perfectly explains the corruption of word, language, and thought. It shows the mechanism by which humans are driven mad and become unbalanced. It points to the endgame of Satanic Inversion, corruption of Nature, constant rebellion against God, the death-cult that embrace the madness, and the loss of humanity by those who are anti-Logos.

One’s very humanity is dependent on Logos, because once we reject Nature, Natural Law and God we have cut our ties with the very things that keep us human.

At the moment, both the “liberal” and “conservative” political ends are anti-Logos. Once they were reasonable efforts by political thinkers to understand the relationship of citizens to the thing that they created – government. Now they are both as corrupted as a piece of rotting meat filled with twisting maggots.

Logos and its opposite are now the only way to interpret the world.

So the last Presidential-actor™ to go off the script? Yeah, that was John F Kennedy who they shot in Dallas.

If it’s to be Actor vs. Actress … which I’m not sure is intended or not …

Actors:

Charlie Chaplin — especially his silent era movies … Stan Laurel & Oliver Hardy … Buster Keaton … Spencer Tracey … Clint Eastwood … Jack Nicholson … Marlon Brando … Richard Burton … Peter O’Toole … Peter Sellers — not a great actor, but could certainly make me laugh … Jimmy Stewart — especially in Harvey … W. C. Fields — another who could certainly make me laugh … James Garner …

Actresses:

Katharine Hepburn … Jodie Foster — thinking Nell and Contact … Holly Hunter — thinking Raising Arizona and Saving Grace …

Svarga Loka

I do not think that the ability to convincingly pretend to be someone you are not is something worth aspiring to, so let’s get it down to the truth, which is admiring actors for their bodies only.

I think Theo James is really hot. I wouldn’t mind if he pretended to be interested in a cup of coffee with me.

He was excellent in ‘Finding Forrester’, ‘The Man Who Would Be King’ (with Michael Caine), ‘Medicine Man’ … and even with his thick Scottish accent as a Russian submarine commander — ‘The Hunt For Red October’ …

Politically I don’t have a favorite actor or actress, Steve McQueen was always intense in his roles, Shawn Penn was totally immersed in his character. My favorite actress of all time was Maureen O’Hara, beauty and grace packaged perfectly.

1. Tom Cruise
2. Jack Nicholson
3. Gary Oldman (wouldn’t have listed him if he had only done “the psycho guy” roles, but he in “The Dark Knight”… respect)

Anthony Aaron

Cruise has done good work in all of the MI movies — in ‘Minority Report’ — and ‘Collateral’ … among others.

Gary Oldman was good in ‘Leon: the Professional’ as a dirty FBI agent; ‘Immortal Beloved’ …

Jack Nicholson — ‘Chinatown’ … ‘One Flew Over The Cuckoo’s Nest’ (he WAS R. P. McMurphy) … ‘The Departed’ … ‘The Shining’ … ‘Five Easy Pieces’ …

Go ahead and down vote me, but I also like Tom Cruise. ‘A Few Good Men’, ‘Collateral’, and he does a good job in the Jack Reacher Films.

I also thought so ’til about 8 years ago.
Then I realized his stick is completely hilarious as:
– how often does he openly pay homage to sc
– how often does he make PR for scientology
– did he give them all his money
– Tom Cruise is effing hyper intelligent, why would he fall fur such

And then it dawned on me, he is just making fun of a certain other people which hide behind a religious facade…
