FAMILY IS ALL THAT MATTERS

Long ago our purpose in life was to marry, have and raise children, farm the land and feed our families and community.

Sprinkled in there were blacksmiths, bakers, metalsmiths, woodworkers, coopers, ship builders, stonemasons, glass blowers, jewelers, etc.

Then came the Gutenberg press and more knowledge. Not a bad thing. Now people were reading on a large scale, and that led to knowledge. Which led to advancements in science and technology.
We got the cotton gin, and steam engines, and then diesel engines. Yet people still “made” things. There was a pride in the crafting by the maker and an appreciation from the buyer or barterer for the made thing.

It used to be people who made things profited from making then selling them.

Now we make nothing, and only the dirt poor toil in factories to make cheap crap no one needs so a few people can be so wealthy we cannot fathom their wealth.

Yet the desire and drive to create, to make, to craft, to build, is still innately there.

Stifled by governmental agencies and red tape, it is almost impossible to create wealth through crafting, building, or making any damn thing.

We are told we must go “to work” in some office building, making nothing yet experiencing severe pressure to “advance” at said “career”. If we have a family, we are told it’s OK to be away from them for extended periods of time to go run on the hamster wheel of our career.

We make crappy memories once a week in the summer and on two commercialized holidays in the winter, one where we eat until we pass out and the other we buy more bullshit produced in the third world to give to our kids to assuage our guilt for being at our “careers” so much.

We do that for 40 years until we are worn out and broken, bitter, and possibly alone as our wife or husband died just two years before we “retired”. All that time, all that water under the bridge, and we could see the finish line…. It was right there. And then our spouse is dead. And the kids we had…well they are on their own hamster wheel now, so good luck seeing them.

And we think…if only we had taken a different path. Followed that hobby. Told the boss to fuck off and forgot about Keeping up with the Joneses and spent more time with the kids and the wife/husband.

We have been sold a lie. A lie of debt and easy credit. A lie of the giant house, and new cars, and phones, and fancy TVs (to tell us more lies), and on and on.

Having Stuff is not the same as living a life filled with children and laughter and good friends. A life of working to enjoy the fruits of your own labor, that no man can take and give to another by some law you never voted for.

A life where you don’t live in fear that the Hydra we call Government will force some chemical concoction on you for The Greater Good. Or take your livelihood away with words spoken and threats made. Or force you to cover your face with a piece of fabric, something so anathema to us as humans, a muzzle.

A life where you have never been told you are something you are not.

A life where you have no need to tattoo your body to advertise to the world you are bereft of hope, bereft of purpose, and bereft of life.

Keep building and making, keep loving and planting, and hold fast to your families.

What to do:

As I stated on another thread there should be only one goal:

Attack and destroy the 4 main Planks of Communism the U.S. is practicing:

First, destroy Plank 5 (the fed – centralized credit in the hands of the State….)

Then the other 3 that are intertwined:

1, 2 and 10. (income taxes, property taxes and government indoctrination centers)

After that the few left will fall by themselves.

When to do it:

Start now.

Step 1:

Identify what legal grounds exist to challenge the Fed. Like a Fabian, we must be relentless and understand that it may take 100 attempts before any progress is made. Each attempt represents a success because each attempt awards Experience Points. Experience Points equate to attaining higher and higher levels of competency. Competency will, eventually, equate to progress via a “win”.

Once you believe you have enough information to put together a complaint, go online and learn how to file a legal complaint in your county and then, state. When it gets thrown out, file again with updated language. When it’s thrown out again, file under a slightly different pre-text on how civil rights are violated (for example).

Do this hundreds of times. Encourage others to do it in their counties. Attack. Attack. Attack. Then Attack more, even if you have secured your position.

Then move to the next Planks.

I guarantee – IF this strategy were deployed by just 10,000 people in the United States, we would begin to see REAL PROGRESS within a couple years and take back our Country in 10.

In the face of utter destruction and despair:

Some choose to join the ‘winning team’; These are normies and collaborators. Their participation, whether active or passive, facilitates destruction.

Others choose to die on the battlefield; These are martyrs and combatants of the dead-end culture wars.

A third group chooses to create; These are the people who survived and reinvented society after every destructive crisis in history. They are why we are still here today. They give to Caesar what is Caesar’s…and nothing more. They create life–children, plants, and animals–and foster an environment to support it both physically and spiritually. They create community–the bedrock of human achievement. And they create human dignity, which is essential to escaping this life with your soul in tact.

I believe the author is advocating that we choose to stop participating in the rat race and join group #3. When? Yesterday.

Some times the simplest solution is the best solution. How do we get back, or do we? Or is it truly a matter of Saeculum?

Makes me wonder if all those Mrna advocates are not on to something in the way of a cure.

Fortunately, this life is not our final destination. Keeping that in mind, family is not all that matters. Your salvation is.

We’ll call you when you’re six years old
And drag you to the factory
To train your brain for eighteen years
With promise of security
But then you’re free
And forty years you waste to chase the dollar sign
So you may die in Florida
At the pleasant age of sixty nine

The best way to take away the power of the federal government is to stop using dollars for economic transactions.

Well stated, Pup.

I am fortunate to have lived a great life with few regrets. If I could have one do-over, though, I may not have went Galt quite so soon. I also missed out on a decade of stock market returns because I never dreamed the bubble could have been sustained as long as it has.

Oh well.

Fortunately, however, my kids are starting out debt free and with good careers. And, now, I have one getting married this fall so I’ve agreed to help out a former vendor of mine by driving a 10-speed triaxle dumptruck (6AM to 6PM) 3 days a week this summer.

Although it may considerably hinder my blog posting, my friend needs the help and it will be a fun way to help pay for some added wedding expenses on behalf of the young couple.

It’s honest work, for the right reasons, and I’m glad to do it.

Thank you for the post

“And the kids we had…well they are on their own hamster wheel now, so good luck seeing them.”

Fabulous article. What’s really sad is that so many people never learn what’s really important, or they learn to late.

I’ve long since retired, my son’s moved away
I called him up just the other day
I said, I’d like to see you if you don’t mind
He said, I’d love to, dad, if I can find the time
You see, my new job’s a hassle, and the kids have the flu
But it’s sure nice talking to you, dad
It’s been sure nice talking to you
And as I hung up the phone, it occurred to me
He’d grown up just like me
My boy was just like me

I cannot tell you how difficult it was to give up a career that was well compensated and provided respect by others, just to wipe snot off of little noses, play Candyland and do the dishes.

Yet, it was the best decision ever.

I get the same response as HSF: “You are so lucky.” They have no idea. The decision was preceded by countless nights of tears and doubt, and I still have a little bit of doubt here and there. It is also strange, because, more often than not, the people who say it are the ones who could have done just the same, but by doing nothing to change the trajectory, they made a decision for themselves. No decision is actually a decision, too. To change nothing.
