The Coming Food Apocalypse

Via Off-Guardian

Prices are more or less 78% higher than average in 2021, and this is cracking up the production side of agriculture. In many regions, farmers simply can’t afford to bring fertilizers to the farm, or even if they could, the fertilizers are not available to them…And it’s not just fertilizers, but agrichemicals and fuel as well. This is a global crisis and it requires a global response.”
Theo de Jager, President of World Farmers Organization

“If you control oil, you control nations. If you control food, you control people.”
Henry Kissinger

A major global food shortage is looming. Director-General Qu Donyu of the Food and Agricultural Organization of the United Nations (FAO) presented Securing Food Security in Times of Crisis at the Meeting of the G7 Ministers of Agriculture.

The FAO’s Food Price Index in March reached 160 points – the highest since its inception in 1990!

The report notes that Russia and Ukraine are “important players in global commodity markets” particularly wheat, maize and oilseed. And this uncertainty comes on top of “already high prices driven by robust demand and high input costs as a result of COVID-19 recovery.”

A number of countries, including Turkey and Egypt, Sub-Saharan African countries like Eritrea, Somalia, Madagascar, Tanzania, Congo and Namibia, will be highly impacted by the shortfalls in wheat from Ukraine and the Russian Federation. The food crises in Yemen and Ethiopia in particular would likewise suffer a blow.

According to a recent CNBC article, a shortage of fertilizer is exacerbating the situation. Russia, together with Belarus, is responsible for 40 percent of potash exports. According to Morgan Stanley, Russia also exports 11 percent of urea, 48 percent of Ammonium nitrate and combined with Ukraine collectively exports 28 percent of fertilizers made with nitrogen and phosphorous, as well as potassium. So farmers abroad will have to make do with lesser or more expensive crops.

There is however a buzz that the world is not responding to the crisis so much as engineering it!

Take for example the rail company Union Pacific in the United States mandating that certain shippers reduce their volume of private cars effective immediately. Union Pacific is one of four major rail companies that haul 80 percent of agricultural freight. With this mandate in place in the spring, farmers would be delayed in getting fertilizer resulting in producing even less crops.

Plus, there is word of another virus – this one effecting chickens! To stop the disease from migrating to humans, farmers have culled millions of chickens while authorities state millions have died of this Avian equivalent of COVID. So higher costs and food shortages beleaguers the poultry and egg producers as well!

This week’s Global Research News Hour follows the trail of diminishing food supplies and comes to a startling end-point that could lead to the next major Malthusian drama that awaits our species!

In our first half-hour, we speak to Monika Tothova of the FAO about some of the specific developments around the new food crisis and what the world will have to do soon to mitigate a representative a worst case scenario. She is followed by Kit Knightly, a journalist who himself is probing the hypothesis of a planned food crisis and connections to the much talked about Great Reset.

Produced and published by Global Research. Global Research News Hour airs every Friday at 1pm CT on CKUW 95.9FM out of the University of Winnipeg, you can listen to previous episodes here.

There is no food ‘crisis’ or global food shortage, every last bit of this is engineered, created, planned for and done with extreme malice and deliberation. There is no ‘bird flu’ the chickens are being deliberately culled. Just as there was no food shortage during the Great Depression, what we have here are evil men and women pushing the globalist agenda. The UN Agenda 21, and the misery of their green energy and population reduction goals. The propaganda is so thick it can be cut with a knife, it is beyond predictable and it is evil.

There is no fuel shortage, the price increases are all engineered. Note the fires and explosions at poultry ‘farms’ and food processing and storage facilities, then notice how any and every gun related crime is now a ‘crisis,’ know for a fact that the Uvalde murders was a false flag, engineered and allowed to happen to gin up outrage and make more excuses for gun grabbing. Open your eyes and you see most clearly what the agenda is and how they are pushing it. Just follow the media, they have the script and read it page by page.

Biden is the sock puppet they drag out, like the animated corpse he is, to mumble and promote the next rung of the plan. The entire Federal Government is as corrupt as anything seen in Mexico and the criminal cabal that stole the election, the globalist/banker cabal is running the show, and the final goal is one world government.
One ring to bind them all….

All who follow TBP & truth media already know all you said. Yes, there is a food, fuel & everything crisis. We know it’s intentional but it’s still real. Doesn’t mean you still don’t have to buckle up.

MyG- Excellent post. If there are factors in the equation that cause a food crisis such as you listed, then there is indeed a food crisis, manufactured or not (which it most certainly is).

These are the times we must be vigilant and preparatory, the usual suspects cause most of the misery and death in this world, most here know this. People have died, are dying and will continue to die at their hands so we must continue to warn anyone who will listen.

Starving to death from manufactured food shortage is still starving to death no matter how you cut it.

Genocide through a needle, then by orchestrated starvation. Hillary Clinton said no one needs an AR-15, she is right, the average American needs to arm up with everything the military and alphabet agencies have or better. Joe biden said we need Machine guns and F-15s to take on the Feds. Swalwell said we the people if we resist gun confiscation in mass would need nukes prior to that in 2018. The Federal forces and government are full of this elistist/ totalitarian mindset. They plan on bringing us all to their plans by force. Don’t doubt it. They train their gestapo in the latest military fashions to do just that, while giving them blanket immunity for murdering Americans. It’s cheaper for them to murder us than to convince us it is for our own good, which it isn’t.

Tell the anti-gunners that you will take away 1/3 of an AR-15 and only use an AR-10. That should satisfy them.

It is most certainly being engineered to starve the masses into obedience. There is no reason for it to be as serious as it is.

Months of relentless stories about “the coming food shortage” are getting tedious. The world is so saturated with people eager to lie to advance an agenda, it really all becomes meaningless drivel. The coming food shortages are always just about to happen, then don’t, then rinse-repeat.

Maybe they will someday. What is the point of endlessly blabbering about something that MAY exist in the future, but may NOT, and doesn’t exist now?

What a waste of attention. If there are food shortages, I wouldn’t need to read about it on the internet to find out.

And here we have the perfect example of someone who hasn’t a clue (or more likely simply chooses not to think) about how agriculture, or the food supply network actually works. An example of the short term, instant gratification mindset not just common, but endemic in our ‘modern’ society.

Farmers don’t think, plan and organize for next week or next month. They plan, finance and purchase a year or more in advance (They are paid, if they’re lucky, once or twice a year, often months in arrears. They must then buy (often on credit, which is also being drastically affected) the seed, feed, supplies … everything down to arranging spares and maintenance, not for the next season, but often for the season after that).

Put simply (as apparently I must) that loaf of bread you bought in the store today wasn’t made from grain planted last week. The grain that it was made from was planted a year, or more likely two years ago. It was grown (that takes time you know), harvested, stored, sold, transported, processed, transported and sold again, probably stored and then finally made into bread … which after ‘rinse repeat’ eventually made it to your store (there’s a whole ream of store/wholesaler planning and procedure that mirrors/compounds farmers too).

The (manipulated, manufactured, deliberate) difficulties the farmers are experiencing ‘now’ wont hit you until next year or the year after (wrong: they’ll be felt much earlier due to second-order effects of the ‘buying-up’ of what supplies are still available now by those with foresight, and the restrictions other countries are putting in place, and that’s completely ignoring the whole supply-side difficulties of their own).

You are literally that allegorical man falling from a multi-story high-rise, shouting … I’m fine so far.

So? Food prices have already massively increased but grain (and its products) will continue to rise to ‘Weimar-like’ proportions (you’ll need a wheelbarrow full of cash to buy that loaf) over the next two years. Paradoxically meats will drop, soon, as farmers kill-off their non-breeding stock (hoping against hope they’ll be able to feed even them) but then that too will increase massively.

But … you go on (head in sand) believing it will blow over and you’ll survive without planning, and more importantly preparing ‘now’ whilst you still can. (Hint: when not just grains, but seeds and basic gardening implements are selling out worldwide, you may already be too late to the party).

Well laid out and explained. This person is a city dweller, livelife, and really has no clue of anything outside of what they’re told and what they see immediately around them.

These are the people that will be shocked when it all collapses, they’ll screech like banshees and blame everyone but themselves. These are the people who will demand more govt control to fix and avoid this problem again. Zombies on both sides of the aisle.

I’m finally nearing the point where fighting for my grands doesn’t entail educating the zombies but more to planning a SHTF dig in like an alabama tick until its no longer feasible. Going to take the guerilla approach, stay small, keep moving, let the enemy think we are weak.

Everything we consume does not have to come from the garden, the grocery store or shipped by train or truck. Never thought I might try leaves. Dandelions are plentiful here. Depending on one’s local , greens are greens.
