I know a bunch of you crotchety old bastards want nothing to do with Twitter, but it has been a useful tool for TBP. I usually get a few posts per day by following the right people. TBP had also accumulated over 3,200 followers, so we could post links to our articles and increase traffic on TBP. Yesterday I received this message. It is a nonsensical reason for suspending TBP.
I posted nothing controversial. I have one account. I have no reason to evade anything. I have no idea if the suspension is permanent or temporary, but Twitter wiped out all my followers and if you try to find me, it’s like I never existed on Twitter. Looks like they are emboldened to crush the truth tellers now that Musk says he isn’t buying them. So, fuck the Twitter fascists. It won’t keep TBP from continuing to tell the truth.
It is my sincere desire to provide readers of this site with the best unbiased information available, and a forum where it can be discussed openly, as our Founders intended. But it is not easy nor inexpensive to do so, especially when those who wish to prevent us from making the truth known, attack us without mercy on all fronts on a daily basis. I returned late last night from a most horrific two day trip into the third dimension known as the Dallas/Fort Worth metromess. That place sucks. I’m recuperating from Texas Motor Speedway on the public highways and roads there. It usually takes a day or two for me to get over it.
Returning toward home there was a big rig refrigeration truck on I-30 eastbound out of Royce City that caught on fire. Someone said the load was some freaking cheese from somewhere. The cheese was well evaporated except for ashes so no chance for grilled cheese sandwiches. Good thing I had purchased some extra street tacos earlier as I became hungry with a 2-1/2
hr delay. And topping it off was a flat tire I changed during the delay. So there was a bright spot, time efficiently used during the 2-1/2 hr delay . I think the heat index over there in Royce City was about the same as in Uncertain today. I always carry a sombrero though.
DFW sucks, Each trip there I think there are more vehicles! How people stand it is beyond me.
I’ll upvote that nonsense, because I spent too many years out on them highways and that’s a pretty good pedestrian recount of most of them.

In all fairness, don’t those ads pay for this site? There are two choices for many things: Pay with a subscription (think Netflix) or pay with ads like broadcast TV or Pluto. The popup ads frankly make the site unusable on a smartphone but are a minor distraction in a PC browser.

Ghost, I like the pic a lot. It could have even been taken when I was that age in the 1950’s, when we didn’t have a swimming pool or access to one, but we did have a water hose. AP’s EV, though, not so great. I see that as an early example of when we became weak people–the earlier pedal cars replaced with battery cars (at least in families wealthy enough to buy them) and kids didn’t use their muscles as much. Then it was easier to replace newspapers and books with sound bites and Sunday morning “news” programs. The generation from the 1970’s is the must gullible and irresponsible alive today.
That galvanized tub was our bathtub until I was 9 and we moved into the house we built. I still remember being happiest in that old tarpaper shack. Water was outside at the well and we had a 100w bulb hanging from a line in the middle of the kitchen/living room that served as a light and a place to plug in the cloths iron and radio.
That was when the “light bill” was that, simply the electric bill for running one hanging light bulb. I did not live like that while having grandparents and great grandparents that did.
Visiting gramps was taking a shower in the hand dug basement and peeing in the drain if you had to go.

Carrier pigeons should be making a comeback IMO for those SERIOUS about discreet , undercover communication. I’m thinking the top CIA guys already know this.
I know plenty of folks shoot dove in Texas. I don’t think a lot of pigeons fall to the shotgun however so that the secret code will most likely arrive at it’s intended destination. My guess is someone has been trying to open repeated accounts for TBP falsely in order to get TBP banned. It would seem easy to do. Just my guess when I read what happened.

I had to get an account on there many years ago for an MBA class I was taking. Twatter was less than a year old I think and it wasn’t that bad at the time. As soon as the class ended I let the account fade into the internet archives. I’m sure it is one of the ghost accounts we hear about now.
There is nothing wrong with admin using Twatter as a read only account. There are plenty of people that still think they can reach and convert on there. I’m sure admin is not one of them but if he is using it as a source for information that is a good thing.
This happens because we live in a world infested with weak men. Strong men take out the trash. Stop being weak men. Take out the trash.
