While we’re at it, for mall the science gurus out there, if the Moon affects the tides, why don’t lakes have them?

Georges S

The crust of the earth also moves a bit due to tidal effects (gravity from both sun and moon). This becomes important when we try to do precise geolocation over time from a remote sensor (airborne or space-borne radars, cameras, lidars, etc.).

See EarthTide for details.

The Caspian Sea is a lake, but it’s “too small” to have a tide?

comment image

The reasons for observable phenomenon not adhering to establishment theory is that the Earth is either too large or the things that aren’t affected are too small. Things either follow their nature or they do not.

Boogieman

Proportion influence, it being one of the largest and deepest bodies of land locked waters in the world with no continuity to an ocean, it does have a tied of only a few centimeters, It is a tiny body of water compared to the Ocean’s. Things do follow their nature or are governed by their their nature . Without that consistent law, physics would be useless.

hardscrabble farmer

There are numerous seas that are as much as half the size of some of the largest lakes- they have tides, lakes do not.

I know that some people are able to rationalize those kinds of disparities by explanations like oceanic continuity, but I am not. Same with gravity’s effect on the water molecule. It should be consistent regardless of the state, but it is not, thus the overall explanation of gravity falls apart- at least for me. Maybe I do not have the intellectual chops to hold multiple explanations for all of these conflicting data sets in my mind at the same time.

I don’t understand why HSF was downed above?? What he said makes perfectly good sense to me. According to the Mindcraft Department in the media, all the waterways of the world are drying up so I guess it is a moot point as to why lakes don’t have tides.

It is amazing what humans will believe if something is presented as fact/science.

Boogieman
Boogieman

Short answer. Fluidic Mass, Lakes are effected by gravitational pull but at a proportion influence. Oceans are contiguous bodies of Fluidic Mass that cover areas larger than continents and up to 12000 ft. deep. Proportion influence of gravitational pull over mass is linear, thus can be calculated.

Also, if the moon doesn’t affect the tides, what causes them?

Boogieman

The earth, sun and the moon all influence tides. Due to precision universal consistency of these governing bodies it can be determined, when, how much and for long how long. God’s miraculous works.

The varying electric charge of the atmosphere due to the circular motions of the sun and moon; positively and negatively charged respectively.

God truly constructed a wondrous environment for us!

The constant motions of the earths oceans prevents stagnation.

But in 1,000 years, the effects of climate change will have multiplied this rise to an alarming 0.0 cm. There are only 8 years left to save the world from climate change. Please call your CONgressmen and implore them to spend Trillion$ to stop this madness before we all die. Be sure and remind them to include 10% for The Big Guy. /s

Man made climate change is the most non science science ever thrusted on mankind. Any scientist worth his salt that agrees with man made climate change is either lying or not a real scientist. Hence the lack of data to support it.

TN Patriot

But there is a lot of money supporting it, so the “scientists” can continue to manipulate data to reach the desired outcome.

Boogieman

I don’t think I’ve ever seen even manipulated data to support the notion of mmcc. It’s just to fantastic to fake with data. If you can find some, I’d sure like to see it.

Go back to the hockey stick graph and look up University of East Anglia. they took data points and “normalized” (manipulated) them to come up with the tremendous increase in global temperatures. We saw similar graphs pertaining to Convid that caused all of the governments to declare a pandemic, which Convid is definitely not.

I remember the hockey stick graph, So fake it couldn’t hold up to even the most basic scrutiny. Could be why they don’t use true data points to support their argument. A lie can only hold together for as long it remains consistent. Good find.

Good memory. The hacked e-mails of the East Anglia Climate Research Unit…disclosing the fraud by the climate ‘scientists.’

That graph is a graph drawn to suit the required outcome. Read the Box section
Ice cores store gases, corals are a living organism that builds on itself and has no
real useful data on temperature and Historical temp measurements prior to 1715 was measured by testicle shrinkage among other highly accurate means.
In order to deduce the ancient temperatures of this planet, “scientists” rely on a number of indirect methods and techniques called climate proxies.
They are guesses that cannot tell o.5c changes.
FFS look at the graph the red part was “observed” my ball sack say No you lied to get paid for the outcome desired.

He has had one or two brain surgeries so his track record in that dept. is already lacking. He reminds me of my late MIL. Healthy as a horse until she was 94, but the mentally declining for 25 years. It is tough to see it happen and it wore heavily on my wife who was her caregiver for about half of that time. It is sad what they are doing to this man.

Thats like being sad about a tape worm… Sorry but nope, the guy is a pedo, a thief, a liar, about the most scummiest person in the US… Spent his entire life abusing others, so zero sympathies. Which, tells a LOT about the scumballs using this scumball to advance their agenda doesn’t it, and volumes about their agenda.

I remember all the way back in the mid 90’s trying to calm down my peanut sized, autistic eight year old after being indoctrinated at school that day on how the Earth was dying (AGW). Mom and I immediately mocked his teacher and told him to not to worry about the BS of global warming. He’s high functioning and the look on his face at watching and hearing his parents mock teachers was priceless. Probably in the same year, he was complaining about getting picked on by some little shiite on the bus. We instructed him to punch the kid the next time it happened. Within days, our little one was suspended from school/bus. We told him not to worry, he did the right thing and wasn’t in any trouble with us. I suppose that today we might get a visit from the State and maybe even charged with child abuse. Fck them. We also banned the school (Still have a copy of the follow up letter) from instructing our child regarding ‘good touch, bad touch’ and the DARE program. I’m sure the Administrator thought we were nuts. Fck them. People have to speak up…be confrontational (Doesn’t necessarily mean being nasty).

brian

I laughed hard on this… gave the same instructions to my kid as well with some school bullies. Told him when they come to bully him again to paste the biggest one immediately before they even say a word. Then to keep pasting him all the way to the ground, only then will they leave you alone…

He did, school called I went to see them… Had no more troubles with the school or the bullies from then on… The only caution I told my kids… if you start the fight or are the bully… then ur on your own…

Jaycee

Exactly the same thing I taught my son. Took only one time of chasing the fastest guy on their football team down and pinning his ass to a picnic table with a fist right over his face. Told the kid in front of the whole team if it ever happened again he beat the kid to a pulp. Never had a problem again with anybody! Perfect.

Without a modern degree in climate science, the meme creator made the mistake of comparing pictures taken at the same point in the tidal cycle. With a degree, they would have known to only look at photographs that support the pre-determined conclusion demanded by the globalist or globalist foundation that paid for the study grant.

Just last night I watched a DW documentary about water and climate change…..it was complete BS. The reporter goes to desert areas only to piss and moan about how the lakes have dried up. Las Vegas and Phoenix were most of the boo-hoo topic, my God who didn’t figure out that those two cities could not keep packing in population without using up all water sources?? And you know they boo-hooed about southern California with 40 MILLION people running out of water. Sam Kinison nailed it decades ago , it’s sand…it’s desert…MOVE to where the water is.

They even had the balls to show The Salton Sea as the end of the world scenario….Really?? The Salton Sea was a f’n mistake by central planners who didn’t understand that runoff from massive crop irrigation had to go somewhere. It turned to brine and ruined it for the Heebs that developed it into a vacation spot. DW should flat out be ashamed of that doc, but we know they are not.

The criminal .Gov sprays chems everyday to divert the Jet stream and move precipitation away from those areas which sometimes causes massive flooding over on the eastern side of the country. Gotta keep that “Climate Change” BS going night and day on the idiot box to move us to net zero everything , including sanity and normal life.

If we don’t start standing up, you WILL seriously see the day when water is a very expensive luxury and the word control doesn’t begin to describe what you will live through. You will be told what time of day you can use water and how much…..and it will be very little.

Fort Denison Sydney – tide records keep meticulously for 165 years but since 1886 measurements are graphed by NOAA. Australia also has another in Freemantle Western Australia at similar latitude ,some 2400miles away.
Both concur within 1/4 of an inch and that is because of the slight latitude difference.
How do I know??
I was, as a tectonic surveyor employed as part of a team to establish bench marks from them.
Australian Height datum (AHD) was established in 1971 by using these and other tide gauges around the continent and precise leveling surveys to land . From here all height measurements are given and close around the entire 9,200 coastal miles.
The sea levels are not , never have and never will rise or fall because it is a closed loop system.
The greenies deny it by saying look at the Kiribati islands sinking because of climate change …. reference ( https://cop23.com.fj/kiribati/ )
No its not, the tectonic plate on which it sits, Izanagi, is sinking due to uplift by collision …. remember the March 11th ,2011 Japanese tsunami .. Izanagi moved japan higher and Kiribati sank. Never let a crisis go to waste.
It is a Scam to steal what’s left

What I never understood in science class, or got a logical explanation for, is the illustration of the spherical Earth with the moon pulling the water toward it by gravitational effect yet the water, tide, also bulges on the opposite side of the sphere, 100% opposite the pull of the moon’s gravity.

Only once, and only recently, I saw a blurb saying it was due to “inertia.” That doesn’t make sense to me.

Help me out any scientifical globulars here.

Thanks in advance. (But I’ll thank you then too.)

That’s Fort Denison, otherwise known as ‘Pinchgut’, a convict era military fort / prison. The sharks in Sydney Harbor doubled as the prison guards..

…On 30 November 1796, Morgan was hanged; following his execution, his body was hung in chains (gibbeting) on Pinchgut. His skeleton was still hanging there four years after his execution.
