Let’s focus for just one moment on something other than the hardware required to either impose a political solution to a problem or liberate a people from the oppression of a system that is intolerable and that is- what the military has always referred to as boots on the ground. It was learned, not long after the introduction of air campaigns in modern warfare, that bombing alone was not enough to defeat an enemy. In the end what was required was a presence in theater, a complete and absolute dominance of the territorial objectives by men on the terrain.
Can immense damage be inflicted on a population without the presence of infantry? Absolutely. Is that enough to defeat and enemy? Absolutely not.
There is simply no way for the current political class in power to exercise full spectrum dominance over the landmass and inhabitants of North America. They cannot manage the cities they have full control of, nor can they maintain supply lines and infrastructure in a fashion associated with an complex society. Everywhere you look you will see the decay and dissolution of systems built long ago by another people. If anything there has been an acceleration of the systemic failure of some of the simplest and easiest maintenance issues required to support a population the size of ours, from water and waste management to basic infrastructure, like bridges and roads.
It is clear that the only thing that matters to those in power is maintaining complete and total control over the narrative. Almost all of their focus is on messaging and content of their propaganda organs and the silencing of dissent. They have lost control of the economy, the supply chains required for just in time delivery, foreign relations, borders, and the routine repairs and maintenance required to keep the wheels on the bus.
To imply, as the President did last week, that F-15’s may come into play if people fail to comply with their political ends indicates a great weakness rather than strength. We are now at the threat stage of collapse, when all they have is brute force to impose their will, rather than voluntary and enthusiastic support for their programs and policies. Every single day they recruit for their own opposition with ridiculous demands that concern virtually no one, i.e. transgender child surgeries, pronoun usage, and submission to radical medical mandates to simple human conditions that have always existed.
As the collapse accelerates they will very likely continue with their tyrannical behavior and many people will have their lives ruined, businesses and livelihoods destroyed, homes seized, and friends and family imprisoned for nonsensical offenses against the State, but these actions will only neutralize whatever advantage they currently possess and actively encourage further resistance and even violent opposition along lines that they cannot maintain. It is one thing to wage a war against a foreign enemy where your population is blind to the suffering and destruction on the ground far away, and one where you must live cheek to jowl with your enemy.
What wins a war is who controls the ground- every inch of it- and the morale of the ones holding it. Without these no weapons system will make any difference whatsoever.

For a time progress was slow. Yet all the while his apocalyptic teaching was finding its way into the hearts of two great classes of his countrymen. The German WWI vets were used horribly by the Prussian elites..blaming their leadership failures on ‘others,’ as opposed to themselves. Why do people keep on insisting words like “win” even apply to the quasi-military operations we were running in Iraq and Afghanistan? You can’t win without defining what that means. Ostensibly winning was to convince the occupied countries that they should do whatever they are told (because democracy). I took some surplus ammo ( oops!) and a dolly to tote it with. Nope, the promoters said I must first contact the vendors that had set up tables etc. and ask them if they were interested in buying the ammo. I could leave my ammo up front at the security check in while I checked around with vendors. Yeah, right. I had no intention of gouging on my price. But to think a vendor is not going to gouge me as in offering nothing for the ammo, yeah buddy, give me less than half price what my price would be and a good price for a buyer. I was right asking several vendors. The cheap bastards really wanted to screw me.
After the Texas experience I went to another in Louisiana. Same bs, I can inquire of the vendors would they like to buy but not able to stroll around and sell to attendees. I asked both shows what’s up with this and in typical modern day bs was told it was for “liability” reasons, their “insurance”. It’s been over five years since I had attended a gun show and at that time I went in the facility with ammo stacked on a dolly, no questions asked, only “inspected” by the security at the entry. I sold $600 of ammo that day.
I’m probably through with these gun shows. Promoters are “protecting” the vendors from what a real gun show is about, free trade. Prices are stupidly high. Gouging is the order of the day. I’m done. I’m through with these control freaks. At least this is what I have run into in two states now, Texas and Louisiana.
