Is War What You Asked For?

Guest Post by Jim Kunstler

The Russians called their move into Ukraine last February a “special military operation” for a reason. The description was precise. It was not a “war” prosecuted on the people of Ukraine. Russia could have completely disabled the Zelensky regime in an afternoon with air power, but they did not want to smash up the country’s vital infrastructure and foreclose the peoples’ future.

The operation was designed to expel Ukrainian military forces from their forward dug-in positions along the Donbas frontier, where they had been shelling, harassing, and killing the Russian-speaking population for eight years — ever since the 2014 CIA-backed Maidan “color Revolution” brought Ukraine under American control.

The precipitating event of the operation begun last winter was the renewed threat to bring Ukraine into NATO, for the purpose of putting bases on Russia’s border. Russia would not tolerate that any more than America would tolerate Russian bases planted across our border with Mexico. The special operation was mounted to reestablish firm boundaries, both geographically and in geopolitical psychology, for an adversary, the West, who displayed an increasingly psychotic drive to smash all boundaries that make civilized life possible, even in their own countries.

Since then, the US has poured money into Ukraine at the rate of about $10-billion a month for the purpose of prolonging the struggle in Ukraine. We’re doing this at a moment in history when the US faces grave financial breakdown, along with the countries of the European Union and the UK. Nothing about our involvement in Ukraine is in the interest of the American people. Our foreign policy establishment has shown a blind animus toward Russia for no apparent good reason.

At this point reasonable people might conclude that it is for a bad reason. Increasingly it looks like a desperate diversion from the technocrat coup perpetrated by a supranational cabal emanating out of Davos, as led by the megalomanics at the World Economic Forum (WEF). The coupsters also happen to be intriguing behind America’s Democratic Party and the White House regime of the obvious tool, “Joe Biden.”

To digress from Ukraine for a moment, let’s consider the perilous condition of “Joe Biden’s” regime just now. All the “narratives” — the miasma of lies the regime has generated in its campaign to wreck our country — are falling apart. Much of this centers on the criminal misbehavior of the FBI, the regime’s clean-up crew, which has lost control of the clean-up. If the conservative opposition seizes majority control of the US House of Representatives on November 8, all the US players in this coup will be called to testify.

This includes the perpetrators of RussiaGate (of which the Ukraine mess is a continuation); the perps of the Covid-19 bioweapon op that will end up killing more Americans from the “vaccines” and the economic blowback of lockdowns as died from the virus itself; the backstage perps of the censoring and cancellation initiative run through the news and social media; the perps who arranged the ballot shenanigans in the 2020 elections; the perps who supported the Antifa and BLM riots of that same year; the perps behind the Mar-a-Lago raid; and, most threatening of all to the regime, the perps who concealed the Hunter Biden laptop evidence of international bribery and treason committed by the current President of the United States. He knows it, he can sniff the danger, as do the rogues and degenerates behind him. Hence, his recent mendacious fulminations against “MAGA Republicans [being] a threat to our democracy” and his ramped-up FBI police-state antics against Donald Trump and his associates. “Joe Biden” must sense that he is going down.

The New York Times today is ballyhooing the Ukraine military’s “lightning advance” east of Kharkov. I’d argue that what The Times wants you to see is not exactly what is happening. Rather the Russians appear to have made an orderly, tactical retreat from the outskirts of Kharkov, inducing the NATO-trained Ukraine forces eastward across the Siverskyi Donets River and out into the flat, open country where they will be cut off, cauldroned, and slaughtered. Everything that NATO and US have done in this conflict has been a stupid move. Why should this one be an exception?

At the same time, Russia has hit a number of power generation plants around Ukraine, leaving many Ukrainians without lights, hot water, communications — in short, what’s needed to remain civilized. This was exactly what Russia had hoped to avoid the past eight months, but the obdurate pathological idiocy of our country’s leaders has forced Russia to send a harsher message to provoke some rational thought here about ending this conflict. There is even chatter on the web that Russia is about to declare that the special military operation is now a war, with all that implies about targets.

The US may be crazed beyond redemption, but the people of the NATO member countries might have had a clarifying experience lately watching their governments barter away the natural gas they desperately need to run industry and heat their homes this winter — in the foolish gesture of jumping on America’s sanctions bandwagon. Will Germany, France, Italy, and the rest now leap into a war against Russia on the plains of Ukraine in winter? I think they will sooner overthrow their own WEF-directed governments. This appears to be just what has happened in Sweden’s election on Sunday where a bloc of center-right parties has ousted the left government led by Prime Minister Magdalena Andersson.

The question for now is this: Will the US jump stupidly into World War Three over Ukraine? If not, how much does Russia have to disrupt life in the rest of Ukraine outside the Donbas to drive the US and NATO into serious peace talks? It better happen soon because otherwise the West will be completely preoccupied with the collapse of its financial markets, currencies, and economies — and probably before the November elections here.

In the end, we end up with the government and the consequences of their actions, that we deserve. If we end up in a war, where either our children or ourselves are sacrificed, then we will have only ourselves to blame. It is our duty to control our government and its actions, that is the Citizens responsibility. We have been derelict in our duties as Citizens for too long, and if it does not change, we deserve whatever happens to us.

I am using “we” as a colloquial term, of course it does not mean every individual, but we as a nation.

J&G
J&G

Sorry Jdog – I disagree completely.

Your claims all revolve around the assumption that the average citizen has some kind of power to be exercised that will alleviate criminal infiltration and take over of “government”. Most understand there isn’t one, without a full relinquishing of all that makes any of us human and “unleashing the beast” with unchecked violence against the traitorous cretins that have infiltrated our, and most other, “governments”. The “prompts” to take that path have not quite shown yet for most and all are hoping to see the pendulum shift.

Your claim also assumes that the current form of “government” is structured to not only listen and react to citizens to meet their needs legitimately, but that it is the best form in existence to meet the citizens needs. It’s communist, so by default, that assumption is probably out the window…

I would point out:

1.) We have been infiltrated and taken over by OUTRIGHT CRIMINALS. “Traditional” acts and actions will not change this at this point in time. Voting and civic participation will not change it. We all know this. Criminals count the votes. Criminals run the courts. Criminals write the laws, or as in IL, refuse to enforce them and stand them on their head.
2.) There is no dereliction of duty by a single citizen, regardless of action/inaction levels, when all levers of power that matter have been taken over by OUTRIGHT CRIMINALS. The assumption is that a lack of pariticipation in the current form of the Communist U.S. Federal Government is a cause of problems; What if it is actually the participation that is the cause of problems? Can either be proven?
3.) NO ONE signed up for THIS SHIT. There is a very good probability that all of the noise is coming from a very tiny minority (like a few thousand people revolving around crime lords such as Pritzker the Hutt and his insane tranny brother) that represents, in truth, NO ONE but a criminal cabal. They bully those around them (or bribe, blackmail, threaten, beat/kill) into “agreement” until, just like with money the Bad Politicians drive out the Good Politicians (good meaning nothing more than “not criminal”) and criminals run all. How many moms in IL really want kidnappers to be released without bail? I bet it’s zero, even in lib polls.

To assign some type of fault to the citizen victims of the U.S., for some type of lack of participation that is said to be a major catalyst in the depredation of the country is fantasy.

This whole destructive process is run by a small group of criminals that have lied, deceived, bribed, blackmailed and threatened their way into power while, at the same time, publicly claiming benevolence at every turn. Most good hearted people cannot fathom the evil and have gone about their lives without understanding that criminal-parasites took over the apparatus of their country.

All those good hearted people are “deserving” of NOTHING THAT IS COMING. NO ONE IS. REGARDLESS of their gullibility or lack of participation.

Gullibility in one does not grant some magic license in another to treat the gullible with criminal disdain that should be viewed as being brought on by the gullibles own misplaced trust.

That is the mentality of tyrants and pscyhopaths. Go down that path and we were already done a long time ago.

Jdog
Jdog

You can deny responsibility all day long, but it does not change the facts. The people in office are there because the public voted them in. NO one bothers to run for School Board or be part of their local government, much less pick up a sign and protest the policies you disagree with. All government is bottom up, and it was our dereliction of our duties that got us here.
If you want to play the victim card, and claim you are helpless, then go ahead, but if you truly want change then it takes active involvement in government and not sitting on your couch watching Netflix and eating potato chips. You can either cry like a Frenchman, or Fight like an American.

J&G
J&G

You don’t get it and apparently, from your comments, don’t really understand where things have progressed to. Good people will not participate in corrupt systems.

Also, there can be no “responsibility” to unknowing participants/dupes when an administered system is full of corrupt criminals who took advantage of the unknowing, gullible, or inactive state of said dupes.

That is not a personal opinion. That is how law, morals and ethics actually work. People manipulated by criminals, are indeed, INNOCENT.

I stress again: Increased/Maximum Participation itself, at this time may represent a self-inflicted, or group-inflicted, wound within an administered system that is corrupt. YOU become an unknowing pawn in that situation. What proof can be offered that intensified civic participation would change pre-determined outcomes in a corrupt system (because history shows differently) instead of intensifying them? Nazi Germany was a system with lots of civic participation for show. How about Stalins vote counting – I’m sure there was someone there saying, “vote harder”, too.

Do you believe those and other/similar tactics aren’t used in the U.S. right now? You actually believe that civic participation is on the level enough to allow any person or group with less than millions of dollars in spare cash to change anything but the reading list at the high school library?

You speak as if any one of us could have changed major paths and outcomes of the U.S. by voting harder. WTF? Really? At this point in time of mass corruption, that is where you are going to hang your hat?

We should all run for local school board! That’ll take the corruption out of the billionaires and psychopaths minds and then they won’t be able to deploy resources against us! That’ll get us to stop practicing 7 of 10 planks…

You fail to understand where we are, from a historical perspective, on the Timeline Of Depravity Of Empires. you will not be voting or participating your way out of the coming winter.

Strauss and Howe told everyone what would happen like 20+ years ago.

They have been amazingly prescient, so far.

We will all be going through a “Great Gate of History” shortly.

I’m sure voting and civic participation neither changes or affects it in any way.

Ignoring it and prepping might help you though.

Or, you know, just continue to vote harder like they do in Illinois.

War, what is it good for?

‘War is an economic necessity.’

In our systems of corporate democracy, war is an economic necessity, the perfect marriage of public subsidy and private profit: socialism for the rich, capitalism for the poor. The day after 11 September 2001 the stock prices of the war industry soared. More bloodshed was coming, which is great for business.

Today, the most profitable wars have their own brand. They are called “forever wars”: Afghanistan, Palestine, Iraq, Libya, Yemen, and now Ukraine. All are based on a pack of lies.

This entire Ukraine gambit makes no sense at all on any level. Possibly the dumbest geopolitical move ever by a country already in its death throes. Victoria Nuland must be a KGB agent.

ICE-9

It makes perfect sense once one realizes that after Trump / Mnunchin printed up USD $17.66 trillion via their REPO program from Sep 2019 through Jun 2020 that everything from Sep 2019 onward – including Covid and poison vaxx – is about killing consumer demand to quell hyperinflation and retain control over the global financial nexus. Cutting off energy to Europe will force industry to shut down over winter and thus there will be no products produced – thus demand is cut via a cut in product supply. After winter most if not all storage gas will be drawn down so European industry will have to be “triaged” which means all small business shut down and production curtailed until winter when production will again be completely shut down to heat homes.

Thus viola! Severely curtailed consumer demand across the world for base commodities sold in US dollars dampens the hyperinflation down to just normal old bad inflation and TPTB have a higher probability of retaining control over the global financial nexus. It’s the battle for control of the world and there are no rules.

And be prepared – Reverse REPO is at the ready should TPTB fail to quell the hyperinflation. It’s the suicide pill that will bring everyone down with the system should the system collapse as a result of hyperinflation. They have no qualms about enacting this mutually assured financial destruction. Goyim are just disposable consumption units – more can be bred when profit growth and expansion of financial power requires.

It’s all cloaked in the bullshit of the Green New Deal / Climate Change rubbish which is just a tool of the bankers to kill consumer demand until they can tame the hyperinflation, kill off hundreds of millions with their vaccines to permanently kill off demand, and start the whole fake money nonsense afresh. They will tell you it’s for the planet when it’s really for them to retain control over you through control of the fiat US dollar, which is controlled from The City of London Corporation.

ICE-9

I think they knew for certain they were fucked when they tried to unwind QE on Trump to purposely create a recession and things went south way faster than they had anticipated. Fed sitting on USD $8.8 trillion in “assets” they can’t get rid of since as soon as they start selling that will pull “liquidity” out of circulation and grind credit creation slower. But to prevent it from being the bag holder (which is the role of the goyim) the Fed has no choice but sell and would likely couch their own asset sales in a Reverse REPO which will be a financial hydrogen bomb but will only be used if hyperinflation starts. Total Catch-22.

Saw this happen when I lived in Indonesia back in 1997. Partial float of Rupiah to devalue currency and get IMF bailout loans after Baht and Ringgit collapsed saw Rupiah crash 80% in a matter of weeks, most economic activity grind to a halt, and all Indonesian companies with USD loans and Rupiah cash flows technically bankrupt. Absolute cluster fuck that was and they still didn’t get the IMF money.

The U.S. and it European allies have a red line which none of them will cross; loss of life among their own forces. It is one thing to bang the drum for the Ukrainians and to shower them will weapons, quite another to have your young men and women come home in body bags from a country whose name most people can’t spell or find on a map. For all the Ukrainian flags you see and protestations of outrage against the Russians, you don’t see any of the Nato countries sending their troops to fight. Nor will you. And except for a few nutcase ex-generals, no one in this country is showing any enthusiasm for putting boots on the ground, either. If it did happen, “America First” would suddenly be on everyone’s lips.

YES, “TIMES” ARE NOT LOOKING FAVORABLE FOR 90% OF HUMANITY, HOWEVER, GOD TOLD ANYONE WHO CARED TO LISTEN THAT THESE ENDTIMES “EVENTS” WERE INEVITABLE! GOD WILL NEVER INTERFERE WITH OUR CHOICE TO SERVE HIM OR ANY OTHER “god” HUMANS INVENT. THEREFORE, GOD PLANED FOR ALL THESE EVENTS TO GIVE HUMANITY THE FACTS ABOUT WHAT IS HAPPENING, AND WHO ARE CAUSING AND DIRECTING THESE NEFARIOUS EVENTS. IN THAT WAY GOD IS NOW (AND HAS BEEN) SEPERATING HIS PEOPLE FROM SATANS PEOPLE. YES, TO BE SURE, GOD WILL ALLOW SATAN TO CONTROL THIS WORLDs GOVERNMENTS, AND THEIR FINANCES, AND THE ONLY “RELIGION” THAT SATAN WILL ALLOW IS HIMSELF AS “THE SUPREME BEING” “WORTHY” OF “WORSHIP”. ANYONE NOT FOLLOWING SATANS “PLANS” WILL BE HUNTED AND KILLED, THAT IS, UNTIL GOD HIMSELF, THROUGH OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST, INTERVENES AND SAYS ENOUGH SATAN, YOUR ETERNITY IN HELL BEGINS RIGHT NOW. AT THAT POINT, AT THE END OF HISTORY, ALL THOSE FALLEN HUMAN BEINGS THAT BOUGHT SATANS LIES WILL JOIN HIM IN HIS HELL FOR ETERNITY! I’LL BET SATAN DID NOT MENTION THAT FACT TO HIS EVIL ARMY OF SATANISTIC “WANNABEES”. WE MUST REMEMBER, THAT EVEN THOUGH THE NUMBER OF MANKIND WHO DIES IN THE COMING WEEKS, MONTHS, OR YEARS HAS BEEN SET BY GOD HIMSELF, THE PERCENTAGES OF CHRISTIANS DYING TO THE NUMBER OF SATANISTS DYING HAS BEEN LEFT UP TO OUR LORD JESUS’S ARMY HERE ON EARTH TODAY. WE, ARE THAT PHYSICAL ARMY. TO FIGHT THE GOOD FIGHT INVOLVES MUCH MORE THAN TO SIMPLY ROLL OVER AND ALLOW SATANS ARMY TO KILL YOU!! LOVE FOREVER, DAVID EDWARD MAAS [email protected]
