Yes, it’s my understanding she used to be in media as a journalist.
When on set, reading the prompts from the 4:00 a.m. narrative that UPI puts forth as the day’s talking points, she most certainly would have toed the line as the job description required. Play acting the part.
We’ve all seen the repetition of the newscaster teams of talking heads speaking verbatim about the ‘threat to our Democracy’ that the 6 big media corporations rail against, in their quest to silence the opposition viewpoints, and squelch free exchange of ideas and opinions about what is truth vs. lies.
That said, on the campaign trail, she seems to react and respond quite well, and in parallel with common sense thinking folks who are tired of the policies of the progressive left, causing the nation to circle the porcelain bowl drain in a disgusting effort to make America flush more good things than bad.
She delivers with quick wit, and fearless candor to the objectionists she faces, and it doesn’t seem scripted. It seems she can shoot from the hip.
Frequently getting right back into the face of the loaded questions the neojournalists fresh out of journalism school ask, or are directed to ask.
Deservedly so.
Maybe she is acting, and will become just another political hack who abuses the position for nefarious reasons, but, IMO, her and DeSantis are trying to steer us back onto the road, instead of pulling the steering wheel of the bus to the left, and off the cliff to end in horrifyingly tragic consequences.
I’ll watch from afar, and try to stay off the nation’s bus, gravy train, or new green vehicles.
Like witnessing any carnage that we observe, it will be hard to watch it happen without feeling some sympathy, sadness, and disappointment, for what should have, could have, and might have been.
As such, I’ll be rooting for Ron and Kari, and let the chips fall where they may.
