Related to this topic, I’ve decided that I am in favor of drag queen story hour, but only under certain conditions.
Those conditions are that it be
A) mandatory, and
B) limited to the children of recent and illegal immigrants

Here in WA State about 8 or 9 years ago the parents of public school elementary students got an initiative on the state ballot to get rid of the mandatory sex ‘education’ classes for their children.
The group submitted materials to be published in the voter pamphlet that quoted directly from some of the mandatory reading material — they couldn’t show the required photos and/or videos — and the Secretary of State for the State of Washington overruled the inclusion of the language from the text books as quoted — saying it was too obscene for the adult voters.
Never — not for an instant — did the Secretary of State get the message or see her own stupidity and/or hypocrisy …
And, yes — the books and the videos very vividly depicted the gay sexual agenda and practices that were being pushed on these elementary school students …

Meanwhile, the anti-gun law that went into effect in WA State on July 1, 2022, is a real PITA … no guns to be sold with magazines more than 10 rounds … and you can’t even go out of state to buy them and bring them back in (although a Vancouver PD officer told me yesterday that that sort of thing’s way, way down on their list of priorities). Basically, though, if you DO buy a gun with a magazine capable of more than 10 rounds, you’re basically only allowed to have it in your home … can’t really carry it on you or even in your car — say, to the range.
