Friday Fail Shallow Thought of the Week: When a nasty-looking dame accosts me for not wearing a mask and tells me I’m being thoughtless and anti-social, I find screaming, “Fuck off and die!” helps her to understand where I’m coming from. When a well-meaning friend tells me I should get the clot shot because everyone he knows took it for many good reasons. . . I stop him there and inform him, “Everyone you know’s a blithering idiot. I don’t give a good God’s damn why they took it. There are two unassailable reasons not to take it: it doesn’t fucking work and it could kill you.” For some reason none of my well-meaning friends talk to me anymore. Which reminds me: another friend admitted he had regrets about taking the shot. I patted him on the shoulder and said, “I don’t give a shit. I look like a priest or a counselor to you? Regret doesn’t matter; there are no take backs. This isn’t fucking Costco.” I haven’t seen him in a while. I hope he’s still alive.
Oh well… some friends aren’t worth keeping…

Well,personal failure is also good reading and I came damn close yesterday!
I am finally dedicating a lot of time to me Warchild project(4×4 van) and fixed a lot of little stuff and also wanted to warm up the beastie.
She was idling like a champ(I smugly noticed) with a great sounding exhaust when I noticed water leaking at the rear and walked over to check out(did I mention was smoking a hand rolled smoke?!)when a little voice said”Skippy,back the fuck off/put out the smoke and shut off the van!”,luckily,I listened(that voice has saved me ass many times!).
Seems the return gas line has a leak and was dropping a fair amount off the tank next to one of the exhaust pipes!My guess is someone built a nest atop tank and when I moved vehicle did a rebuild and chewed line,will drop tank today(minus hand rolled smoke!)and see.I will add mothballs under that are for winter storage as the rodents hate that smell.This could have ended a lot worse!
Needless to say have disconnected battery.

I had a neighbor who bitched constantly about politics. His comments swung the full gamut from left to right and I couldn’t figure out his choices at all. I told him that no matter how good or bad the choices, not choosing meant that since he chose to have no vote in deciding the winner, he had no justification in bitching about the results. That was the last time we ever talked about any local, state or world events.
