Diesel powers the trains that bring coal from Wyoming to your local power plant and coal power plants produce about 22% of the electricity in the US.
Normally the US has around 30 days of diesel and we’re still producing. Issue is what we’re producing the US is selling it all off to Europe.
Diesel isn’t real! If it doesn’t have a 4 barrel carb and less than 8 cylinders, it’s a fake car!
If it doesn’t burn diesel, it ain’t a real tractor.
I have a fake car with a fuel injected V-6 that will blow the doors off almost all 60’s and 70’s muscle cars 1/4 mile and top end while getting 35 mpg cruising at 75 with the A/C running.
Some of you whippersnappers are too young to remember tune ups every 12,000 miles and oil every 2,000 and the damn chokes that messed up far too often. We may wind up back messing with the old time junk if everything goes to heck but except for auto shows and collectors, you can keep the good old stuff.
