TUESDAY TUNES – THANKS AND GRATITUDE

-----------------------------------------------------
It is my sincere desire to provide readers of this site with the best unbiased information available, and a forum where it can be discussed openly, as our Founders intended. But it is not easy nor inexpensive to do so, especially when those who wish to prevent us from making the truth known, attack us without mercy on all fronts on a daily basis. So each time you visit the site, I would ask that you consider the value that you receive and have received from The Burning Platform and the community of which you are a vital part. I can't do it all alone, and I need your help and support to keep it alive. Please consider contributing an amount commensurate to the value that you receive from this site and community, or even by becoming a sustaining supporter through periodic contributions. Not a huge fan of the band, but anyone paying homage to Pink Floyd and their great performance at Pompeii, deserves a thumbs up for sure.

From the 1984 Beverly Hills Cop Soundtrack. Great tune, but never used in the film.

Beastie Boys? That song was ok…

Gratitude
Beastie Boys
“Good times gone, and you missed them
What’s gone wrong in your system?
Things they bounce, like a Spalding
What’d you think? Did you miss your calling?
It’s so free, this kind of feeling
It’s like life, it’s so appealing
When you’ve got so much to say
It’s called gratitude
And that’s right
Good times gone, but you feed it
Hate’s grown strong, you feel you need it
Just one thing, do you know you
What you think? That the world owes you?
What’s gonna set you free
Look inside and you’ll see
When you’ve got so much to say
It’s called gratitude
And that’s right”

but what about…?

And…

That Led Zeppelin guy sure can sing. The song makes me want to do a few bong hits, stare at my lava lamp for a while and then go sing ‘After the Lovin’ at a karaoke bar. The Lauren Daigle song is really beautiful. If she sang at my church I’d go every Sunday. The Sly & the Family Stone video was like the Star Wars bar scene.
