It was chilly…very scary.
Not to belittle Buffalo. Here in the GTA(100 miles away) We had -14c (7f), mostly rain at first, high winds 100kph(62mph) and 2″of snow. Never lost power. I had to spread a little salt on the driveway. Rarity. Actually, I did take a tumble down the stairs (3 steps) feeding the birds. Birdseed was everywhere. They found it. Just worried for others when it melts around New Years. Flooding will be huge issue here.
I put a vest on over my sweater. Before I put my jacket on. Never had to face anything like it before.
I was made fun of because I live in a “hurricane zone” in Florida. People said I didn’t deserve to get government money because I made a poor choice of where to live. It’s gonna be 80 degrees for new years.
I am in the Denver, Colorado Metro area. Temperatures plunged to -33° below zero with windchill. We live in a fifth wheel, trust me, it was freakishly frigid even with our propane heater. The sub-zero temperatures stuck around for days, not hours. I am right next to I-76 (Brighton) and never heard so many EMS sirens (fire, police and ambulances) going to and fro during this storm.
My husband and his business partner had to work on the western slope (Eagle County) during this storm. Didn’t want him to go but away they went. Turns out that fate (God) was in play. A long haul trucker chained up in Denver to come over Loveland and Vail passes. His heater in his rig quit working. He made it to Eagle and the Quality Inn. My husband’s business partner is in the lobby getting rooms for his crew and notices the truckers hands. They are purple with enormous blisters on them! My husband’s business partner immediately walks over to the guy and tells him you need immediate attention. Asks my husband to take him to the Urgent Care clinic a mile away. They go to the clinic where they are told to immediately go to the hospital in Vail. Husband drives him (it was quicker than calling for an ambulance!) To the Vail hospital where they take him immediately.
My husband takes care of the trucker’s rig at the Quality Inn and the hotel holds his keys and allows his truck to safely stay parked there until his family can get his rig.
Turns out the hospital in Vail can’t properly handle his frostbite and he’s life flighted to Denver. They end up saving his fingers on both hands from amputation. He stayed in hospital until he flew home Christmas day. And his rig was picked up and driven home by a family member.
I imagine there are more stories such as this the American public will never hear or know about. This storm was dangerous because it had high winds and a sustained wind chill factor that stayed for days. Born and raised on the western slope of Colorado and know what to expect in winter. I believe the sustained sub zero temperatures caught many off guard even with warnings.
IMHO, I believe we will continue to see more bizarre and chaotic weather events manufactured to throw our nation into a devolving morass of optimal carnage. Don’t believe we’ve seen the worst yet.

I moved to NC in 1976 after getting married. No jobs, even w/ a MBA, so drove a heating oil truck for my father in law. It has NEVER been as cold as that winter. Jan 1985 was rough for 10 days but not from Thanksgiving 1976 through early March 1977.

When I was kid here in the Great White North, after Halloween until sometime in April or May, every year this thing called winter brought cold temperatures, and sometimes wind and snow, often for sustained periods to time – months on end even. Somehow we managed to survive by staying indoors, wearing warm clothes when we had to go outside, and digging out the driveway with hand held shovels. Mind you mom kept a full freezer of food, and dad kept the car gassed up, and we didn’t drive when it was terrible out, and somehow we never got a snow day off from school either. As a adult, winter has come every year since I can remember.
I wish Mr. Weather would spare us the yearly ‘Snowmaggeddon’ stories. In northern climates, we will get winter and it will get cold. If you don’t take steps to prepare you and your family, you can die from the cold. On a brighter note, the cold winter does tend to take care of the cockroaches who are able to survive in warmer places because there’s real risk of freezing to death when sleeping outside.

I will say outside of Boston where I work while zero snow temps are below averages but not hugely so,happens every winter.
The weird part tis seems we will have nice temps in the 50’s late week thru the weekend,again,not unheard of but rare.

I will say with reports of tough weather as always brought 2 genies inside so if needed they would start easy,as always me gas/propane and kerosene supplies up to snuff but suppose could always use more.

I know for a fact that tropical storms were not named until sometime in the 1970’s, only hurricanes were named, and they used the phonetic alphabet for a number of years, before then the labor day hurricane, or whatever. . . again the five questions?
I am aware that there were cloud seeding programs in the recent past, but I heard they caused much property destruction by hailstorms, and therefore were terminated, at least in Texas. Texas insurance companies are very powerful, the legislature nearly always does whatever their lobbyists request.

After A recent snow dump and zero-ish weather we were expecting a warming trend which isn’t unusual here. On Christmas Eve we were out plowing/shoveling, it was 16-23 degrees and raining. Others noticed this- weird. The obvious is under 32 rain turns to snow. Could be a lake effect but still weird.
Earlier my sister texted asking if we were in a blizzard as the weather said it was and it was simply snowing. Coming straight down and beautiful.
One I’ll never forget is a few years ago in Bozeman ALL weather reports (online and at the airport)said it was something like 30 degrees. It was actually around 15 below. This lasted A WEEK! We had time to check if it really was 30 at the airport (15 miles away) and it was not. Weird.
More than just wrong weather reporting it was like a glitch, and perhaps an experiment to see if they could convince people it really was 30 degrees or something.

In a month that typically sees 0°F temperatures, Ukraine’s lows haven’t even flirted with 20°F. Ukraine has never seen a December so warm, and January has no freeze in its forecast. Last January, Kiev reached -20°F.

This cold weather was born in Siberia and the technology to create it has not been perfected by any nation yet. We all know the lies, misinformation and crimes of the darkside but many on our side seem to be increasingly emulating those same tactics. In addition to the above advocations I was a CIA expendable before grew a brain. They invented the term “conspiracy theorist” and many others to satisfy William Casey’s desire to make truth of falsehoods believed by the American populace. “Trust but verify” should be the goal of all true conservatives to avoid the many rabbit holes dug for us by our enemies.
What winter storm? It was a big nothing-burger. Didn’t even have to break out the snow shovel or deal with frozen pipes.

I spend the summers on a small farm that I own in New Brunswick and in one day I have counted over 20 tanker jets spraying chemical into the atmosphere that turn a beautiful blue sky to a dull grey with diffuse sunlight by the end of the day. And this goes on day after day after day. And my farm is about 100 miles north of a small airport at Moncton, NB that might receive 10-20 aircraft in a day. I have noticed that the air quality goes down during spraying making the air more difficult to breathe. The chemtrails are spectacular crisscrossing the blue sky yet very few people are even aware that they exist or even question these strange plumes that are not created by ordinary jet airliners. When I point them out and describe what they are, they look at me like I have horns and don’t ask any questions or seek information…but merely continue with their walk or jogging like Henry Wadsworth Longfellow’s “…dumb driven cattle”. That folks is what we are up against.
You can’t convince people who are always looking down at their phones that there is anything different about the sky these days. Nobody has a 30 year-old picture of jets crisscrossing the stratosphere, turning a clear day into blue milk. Nobody under 40 remembers a time when there were only eight types of clouds.
Now, according to the World Meteorological Organization’s International Cloud Atlas, more than 100 types of clouds exist. Yeah, right. Somebody is making that shit up.
One cannot explain, even to the simple-minded, that the difference between a condensation trail and a chemtrail is the same difference exhibited by frosted breath on a winter morning and cigarette haze in a bar. Frosted breath disappears.
Even when, day after day, the weather forecast says “Clear and Sunny” and the skies are an occluded haze, dweebs can’t see anything amiss.

Yes. I have been watching them for over 20 years. Few notice them when you point them out. But many of us do notice them, so they trot out Geoengineering and Weather Warfare as cover when their real purpose is to hide the approach of Planet X. The first year of President Trumps first term, the trails halted. I noticed it but few others did. Crap throat went away. Sky was clear and deep blue. Was awesome. But the Solar Observatory picked up one of Planet X’s moons. Hit YouTube as a UFO near the Sun. Big panic by Establishment. Sent FBI to Solar Observatory in NM. Shut it down. Hit the news even. Closed local Post Office. Local Sheriff didn’t know what it was about on local News. 2 days later, the Chemtrails started again with a vengeance. Covered the sky. You could see they were in an absolute panic people would see something. If you pay attention, they give themselves away. This article is spin.
