HEROES & WHORES

With the new Netflix documentary about the Madoff fraud out, I thought reposting my take on the Wall Street scumbags who perpetuated this fraud and the corrupt losers at the SEC who turned a blind eye, would be worthwhile. Written 5 years ago.

“Certainly one of the most important things I learned is that numbers can be deceiving. There is a logic to mathematics, but there is also the underlying human element that must be considered. Numbers can’t lie, but the people who create those numbers can and do. As so many people have learned, forgetting to include human nature in an equation can be devastating.”Harry Markopolos, No One Would Listen

Harry Markopolos: The man who hunted Madoff - Feb. 25, 2010

The quote I used from Harry Markopolos’ No One Would Listen book about the Bernie Madoff ponzi scheme in my last article triggered a bittersweet recollection. For me, the experience captured the true nature of our warped financial markets, a culture  glorifying wealthy arrogant criminal assholes, while ignoring or ridiculing honest, hard working, highly intelligent truth tellers.

The picture of Markopolos above shows an average looking middle aged guy, with a five o’clock shadow, bad haircut, and wearing a modestly priced suit and tie. Since reading about his fruitless effort to expose Madoff’s Ponzi Scheme and his fifteen minutes of fame in 2009, I have felt an affinity towards him. We both have a brother and sister. We were both brought up in Catholic households and went to Catholic schools. We both have degrees in finance. We have both had financial careers. We are both married with three sons. And we both believe facts and an accurate assessment of the numbers always reveals the truth.

Through his job as a portfolio manager with a small investment firm Bernie Madoff’s investing record was brought to his attention. As a numbers guy, he immediately began assessing the returns.  Markopolos said he knew within five minutes Madoff’s numbers didn’t add up. It took him another four hours to mathematically prove that they could have only been obtained by fraud.

In 2000, 2001, and 2005, Markopolos alerted the SEC of the fraud, supplying supporting documents, but each time, the SEC ignored him or only gave his evidence a cursory investigation. The incompetence or willful ignorance of factual proof by these government drones ultimately resulted in the financial ruin of thousands to the tune of $18 billion and the suicides of a number of people, including Madoff’s son.

The culmination of Markopolos’ analysis was a twenty one page memorandum sent during November 2005 to SEC regulators, entitled “The World’s Largest Hedge Fund is a Fraud”. It outlined his unequivocal mathematical findings in more detail and invited officials to check his theories. He outlined 30 red flags proving Madoff’s returns could not possibly be legitimate.

His analysis was based on more than 14 years of Madoff return numbers. During that time, Madoff reported only four losing months – a statistically impossible scenario Markopolos said could only be achieved by fraud. He was ignored because he was a nobody in the view of SEC Wall Street wannabes.

The truth is the low IQ flunkies at the SEC had one goal in life – get high paying jobs on Wall Street with the firms they were supposed to regulate. Actually enforcing securities laws and holding bankers accountable for their criminal activities would limit their career advancement possibilities. Therefore, they pretend to regulate the financial industry and the financial industry pretends to obey the laws. The SEC apparatchiks Markopolos dealt with were nothing more than cheap whores looking for their chance at a sugar daddy Wall Street gig.

It wasn’t until markets began to freeze up in 2008 that Madoff’s ponzi empire of lies came crashing down and he came clean to his sons, who turned him in to the FBI. This was another example of Buffet’s witty quote, “You never know who’s swimming naked until the tide goes out”. Madoff’s ponzi never passed the smell test.

Executives at JP Morgan and numerous other Wall Street firms knew Madoff’s fund wasn’t above board, but being nothing but greedy immoral whores, they loved the millions in fees generated by all his fake trades, and pretended he was just a brilliant money manager who never had a down month. Just like our current ponzi financial markets, built on trillions of debt, all ponzi schemes ultimately collapse due to running out of suckers. It’s always a matter of time.

“Ponzi schemes exist in stable disequilibrium. This means that while they can’t ultimately succeed, they can persist indefinitely—until they don’t.” ― Harry Markopolos, No One Would Listen

The brief intersection of our lives occurred sometime in 2010 and captures the essence of how the world treats a real hero and average family man versus the how the world treats Wall Street villains and whores. My family was taking a day trip to NYC to do some sightseeing. My three boys ranged in ages between 11 and 17 and they were briefly experiencing the materialism whirlwind of NYC, with all its glitz and glitter.

After a hectic day, everyone was good with a relatively cheap meal at the Ruby Tuesday in Times Square. Middle class families don’t eat fig-stuffed quail and fluke ceviche at Gotham’s playpen of power in the Four Seasons with Dimon, Blankfein, and other masters of the universe.

Image result for ruby tuesday times square

We settled into our seats about to order some burgers and fries when I looked up from my menu and saw somebody I recognized a few tables away. It was Harry Markopolos eating dinner with a friend. I am absolutely sure I was the only person in the restaurant who recognized him. To this day he is a virtually unknown character to the world. I, on the other hand, have tremendous admiration for his heroic yet futile effort to reveal the truth regarding Madoff’s ponzi scheme. I wanted to go shake his hand and tell him he was a real hero, but didn’t want to interrupt his dinner.

I just sat there and pondered the irony of this noble honest truth telling hero dining at a chain restaurant while scum sucking Wall Street whores like Dick Fuld and Angelo Mozilo committed crimes which destroyed the global financial system and destroyed the lives of millions, but walked away with hundreds of millions in ill-gotten profits. They were surely drinking champagne and eating caviar, while Harry and his friend were pondering the 2 entrees for $20 special. This is considered justice in a crony capitalist society controlled by a small cabal of wealthy financiers and corporate goliaths.

“Remember when nurses, caregivers, teachers and students crashed the stock market, wiped out banks, took billions in bonuses and paid no tax? No, me neither.” – Fuad Alakbarov

The past couple weeks has been a never ending orgy of accolades for the Wall Street whores who “Saved the World” in 2008/2009. Watching Paulson, Bernanke and Geithner being bathed in glory by the dimwitted CNBC talking heads and bubble headed Bloomberg bimbos was beyond infuriating. Men like Harry Markopolos have been tossed into the waste bin of history as an asterisk, while arrogant assholes like Jamie Dimon are applauded, esteemed, and held on high as a potential presidential candidate in 2020. I guess when you run a criminal organization that has paid $45 billion in fines since 2009, that qualifies you for the highest office in the land.

Image result for jamie dimon asshole

This nine year Federal Reserve/Wall Street/Treasury created “Everything Bubble” has driven the Wall Street CEO hubris-arrogance-meter off the charts. When a society idolizes and venerates psychopaths in suits like Dimon while disregarding and scorning good men like Markopolos, a reckoning is not far off. If I ever have the privilege of being in the presence of Harry again, I will shake his hand and tell him he is a hero to those of us who value the truth. I apologize to all hard working whores for lumping them in the same class as Dimon, Fuld, Mozilo, Blankfein and the rest of the Wall Street scum who continue to foul this earth with their mere presence.

Life ain’t fair. All one can do is hope that fig-stuffed quail, fluke ceviche and caviar will lead to atherosclerosis. Butler Shaffer’s article today touched on the cannibal class the vulture class and the zombie class.

Who Owns the State?

I certainly don’t fit into the cannibal class, once upon a time I was a soldier and may have fit into the vulture class, but since that time it has been solid zombie class for me. I know I’m livestock, to be milked, sheared and butchered, but I do give my most sincere effort to make it as difficult as I can for the cannibals and vultures to realize any sort of profit from my efforts or even my existence. I’m certain that doing so has helped me to evolve a lifestyle that has only improved my quality of life. I’m dirt poor, but my time is my own and there isn’t anything I want or need that I don’t already have, except maybe some more skills and talents.

Thoreau is hero of mine and a huge influence on my personal philosophy. My experience is that extricating oneself from consumerism to whatever extent possible has huge rewards in the only resource you are born with, which is the amount of time that you have at your disposal, and not much in the way of physical costs. Foregoing the amassing of tons of stuff that requires extensive square footage of storage space to warehouse allows one to spend time on more worthwhile pursuits.

Getting out of debt, owning a modest home free and clear and the cessation of buying crap you don’t need will give you an enormous amount of freedom. I hear people carping endlessly about loss of freedom and the tyranny of the state which I’m in total agreement with, but most of these same people live in self imposed servitude and debt prisons that can be escaped if there is a will to do so. Participation in the rat race is not compulsory.

One of the slogans my husband and I agreed upon early in our quest to retire early was this one: All you really need is enough and enough is a lot less than most people think it is.

I have found that to be true enough to build a log home on.

That’s what I love so much about TBP, such wonderful nuggets of wisdom. I love that slogan and hope you don’t mind if I use it in the future. It’s amazing when you start finding out how basic enough really is. I’m making upgrades as finances allow, but well into my fourth year out here I’m still very comfortable with 320 sq ft, composting toilet, modest solar power and captured rainwater. It doesn’t feel a bit austere to me, on the contrary I feel more blessed than ever. A larger (850 sq ft) house is now in the works and I might even eventually go back to work long enough to save up to get a well drilled.

That is a beautiful home you guys built.

Grizzly Bare, I, too, don’t spend my money on frivolous stuff. I, too, am poor based on past salaries. But I, too, am happy with what I have. I’m female and not a shopper, which many seem to find unbelievable. I only go to stores to buy things when I need something. I never window shop. What’s the point if you can’t buy? It’s just disappointing if you find something you’d like to have and don’t have the money for it. If not window shopping, you don’t find things that you don’t need and can’t buy. In fact, I hate shopping, even for groceries. And I, too, try to avoid the rat race as much as possible. At least working at home keeps me out of the traffic.

Vixen, I think the traffic was the straw that broke the camel’s back that got me to make the leap from the rat race to the boonies. I used to have a 120 mile round trip to work with heavy traffic all the way home. I had some nights where it took more than three hours to get home on top of a twelve hour shift. I go 40 miles to town now about eight or nine times a year and dread when I have to go. Every time I get home from it I’m thankful that it’s done and over for a while. I’m becoming absolutely allergic to pavement.

I found that the more money I made the more I spent. Mostly on useless crap I didn’t have time to fool with because all my time was going to my job. It’s hard to quit the spending addiction, but when you stop earning a paycheck you are really forced to go cold turkey, and after a while, like any former addiction, you don’t really miss it all that much.

Had to learn this the hard way. Injuries put me out of the work force for the most part. Spending money was easy when I was working in forestry and making very good money. Was robbed of my pensions and WCB said they were not going to pay for the work place injuries, ever. So whats left? Give them the finger and carry on. Trust in God goes to level 8.

Today, we live in a small place and spend almost nothing. We toss maybe one small bag of garbage every three to four weeks. We just don’t ‘consume’ and weirdly we’re not lacking in anything. We have neighbours around us, couple families and a ‘professional’ couple, that fret constantly, consumers. Prince George is full of these people tho

Nope, personally I’d rather live in the boonies. Well done on your choices.

Now that you mention it.
On a recent financial article on here, perhaps a week or so back, I mentioned the ordinary people who were fleeced in the Dot com and 2008 collapses. Someone I had never seen here before (Rocky Raccoon) corrected me and informed me that there are only greedy suckers or losers and smart people. Something along the lines of ” Only little people Pat taxes.
I corrected him and never heard from him since.
It bothered me because people like my late wife were pretty much herded into 401’s and IRA’s because they were not financially astute and trusted our leaders.
These greedy crooks ran a con on the public who are too busy paying rent and raising kids to follow the markets closely. Heros like Harry were kept out of the media with smear tactics so my wife, being a trusting soul (she married me) wouldn’t be alerted.
I’m glad you called them what they are.

Not that Trump becoming POTUS was enough of a message; GOP gains in both House and Senate with a gigantic Red wave might clarify for the Dems that real America rejects the SJW’s “identity politics”, “virtue signalling”, “diversity is our strength” bullshit has been soundly rejected once and for all. Gender is mostly phenotypically & genotypically relevant to Biological determinism which is the basis of contemporary medicine. Yes hermaphrodites do exist, a very small sample size of the overall biological population. What does a minute percentage of the polulation of homo sapiens possibly having both a combination of sex organs from a male and female have to do with the promotion and indoctrination of our youth into believing their genetically predisposed sex organs are interchangeable based off of their current, incomplete understanding of their “self” and the development of their highly influential social and cognitive identity…

Why the focus on their sexual orientation or gender identity instead of more traditional values which lead to a more stable development of one’s self, with less focus on how we want others to see us and more on GENUINE character traits that will lead them to develop a more genuine and complete identity with respect to ALL realms, psychosocial and cognitive and experiential?

Psychosexual development is an epigenetic aspect of maturation in that everyone develops according to their compliment of genes & environmental interaction. Developmentally, the formation of self is defined by culture & environmental interaction with the referent of identity. Queer folks have genuine character traits just as non-queers do too. Heterosexuality is not a panacea for normality within culture. Homosexuality is not deemed to be pathological whatsoever, but anxiety over homosexuality is indeed a sign of psychopathology. Please do and give him an extra shake from me. I again encourage everyone to read his book. I have been in the position of warning people to avoid or investigate scam artists. Three times in fact. One case was big enough to be featured on American Greed. NBC tried to find me for several days to “comment” on the case. I am glad I refused to speak with them because even though the scandal was huge and news of it spread world wide, the CNBC show and a later documentary were hack smear jobs on our community. Village idiots were featured as opposed to the people who tried to draw attention to what we knew was going on. The people who were the “tools” of the perp were never even mentioned. I am delighted to not be part of either of these shit documentaries.
In another case, there was a new guy in town who everyone thought was the second coming with all sorts of plans to revitalize the old business district. I knew this asshole from when he ripped me off in a town about 100 miles away. A prominent businessman also knew this guy. We tried to warn everyone. One guy who I consider a dick called me and asked about the guy because he wanted credit for a huge remodeling job and this guy wanted to sell him 10,000 yards of carpet. I told him not to. My wife and I got a real chuckle reading the bankruptcy filing later on seeing the carpet guy got taken for 10,000 yards of carpet. A nearby town got stuck with multiple abandoned properties the miracle worker defaulted on there. It about wiped out their village finances demolishing his falling down properties he had promised to “revitalize” there.
No matter what myself or others could demonstrate about the crooks, “No one would listen” as they were all starry eyed over the big profits and commissions they never got. Just like the Madoff investors.

Maybe it’s more of a curse than anything else to be elevated by the world and to be privileged to eat stuffed quail? Would you know your friends’ true sympathies? Would you know whether your employees and associates honored you or whether they used you? Is the view from on high really that inspiring, that beautiful, that enlivening? Could you ever dare look at yourself while acting out your life as an important man when you well know how ordinary you really are? What if all that money can buy in the way of prestige, pleasure, and plenty are not “enough” so that your desire for something else eats at you day by day and you are always seeking? Maybe that urge for something else leads you to take part in what is evil? But even that is not enough?

Having led a hot little Nasdaq traded company, given speeches to stockholders, run quarterly analyst meetings, and all the rest I can tell you that the attention you get because of your position from booksellers to car dealers to banks to vendors is totally unlike what you got before you became a public figure. You don’t think that turns your head? Makes you begin to think strutting around is the right response? You have to battle against it or you lose your life. You become a thing and not a man.

We ought not to grind our teeth at what Jamie Dimon has or does, or what the world honors when it honors the likes of him. Rather we ought to appreciate ourselves and others like ourselves who appreciate the modest man who eats at Ruby’s with a friend and who we know to be honorable in truth.

Orrick Johns

Little Things

THERE’S nothing very beautiful and nothing very gay
About the rush of faces in the town by day;
But a light tan cow in a pale green mead,
That is very beautiful, beautiful indeed…
And the soft March wind and the low March mist
Are better than kisses in a dark street kissed…
The fragrance of the forest when it wakes at dawn,
The fragrance of a trim green village lawn,
The hearing of the murmur of the rain at play—
These things are beautiful, beautiful as day!
And I shan’t stand waiting for love or scorn
When the feast is laid for a day new-born…
Oh, better let the little things I loved when little
Return when the heart finds the great things brittle;
And better is a temple made of bark and thong
Than a tall stone temple that may stand too long.

Look, what Madoff was doing could have been classified as a State Secret. He was one of the original NASDAQ founders for cripes sake. He started small and all the biggies jumped on the bandwagon. The SEC didn’t need Mrkpls. It was classified info all along

What’s amazing is that Mrkpls is alive. Had he done that in most other countries he’d have gotten a bullet in the brain faster than Seth Rich got one in the back.

Hmmm….Seth Rich….I guess times changed.

Classy thing to leave Markopolos alone. He is truly one of the good guys. One of the truly sad things is how much in your face criminal conduct in the last 20 years will never get punished. I’ve always believed in our system. I’ve always believed that the bad guys will get theirs, sooner or later. Not this time. It rubs me the wrong way. Life goes on. Outstanding work the last couple of days, Jim. But resign yourself, we’re not going to get satisfaction. We can’t fix the past. Don’t wallow in it. Too much good life to be lived in the years ahead.

Tribe membership has its privileges, especially on Wall St. BTW, there’s zero chance Madoff’s entire family didn’t know what he was doing. Someone noted that Madoff had made zero trades on behalf of his clients – there were a whole lot of other people complicit in the fraud who got away with it. It’s just not possible for one guy to pull of this ponzi for so many years and be the only guy who knew. Also, his son was likely offed as penalty for defrauding fellow Tribe members. Breaking US finance laws is a joke, but breaking Talmudic law is serious business.

One of life’s many ironies is that the Truth often gets carried by strange messengers.

Markopolous is a quirky, awkward guy who carried a very important message. Compared to the legions of smooth, tailored flacks Madoff employed, it’s sad but not surprising he was ignored for so long. Sheila Bair is another example of this phenomenon. And Who was Don Kohn compared to the PR-savvy Alan Greenspan?

It is next to impossible for any “truth teller” to survive in the finance industry.

I remember some photos of Madoff when the scandal broke. One was of his haberdasher in Palm Beach. The store was called ‘Trillions’ and it was where Madoff bought slacks for $3,000 a pair. The other was of him dozing off on the stern of his yacht too lazy to even drive the fuel guzzling behemoth himself he had a crew to operate it for him.

Madoff is in a minimum security Federal prison but , for him, it has been the destruction of his family that was most costly yet that wasn’t because he was a criminal but a criminal that targeted wealthy Jews. That was unforgivable in the world Madoff inhabited. A Stephen A. Cohen can swindle billions with his insider trading scams and just pay some fines because he only cheated average people but he keeps his loot and art collection and stays out of prison.

It is a bit different when you were involved with a stock exchange like he was. That threatens the entire system’s reputation. Same with Martha Stewart. She made an insider sell that netted her only a few thousand bucks and to make matters worse, it went on to trade much higher than where she bailed. Her problem was that she had been a licensed broker, knew the rules and was on the Board of Directors of the NYSE. There is only one rule for the investor. Do your DD. Due Diligence. Like Jim Grant says, a company is worth X times it’s book value and earnings. When you go very far beyond those metrics you are bending over and asking for it.

Markopolos fails to understand that the Corporation of the United States of America is in fact a Global Ponzi Scheme and the largest Control Fraud in the entire world. Since Richard Nixon closed the Gold Window to usher in the Petro-Dollar USD hegemonic Financialisation & Securitization Money Pump everyone in the entire world has been held captive by the Control Fraud Matrix.

Dr. Markopolos is an extremely well educated man, but he is fundamentally naïve in his level of immaturity towards the USA systemic fraud that is backed up by the Mafia worldwide and every single criminal that runs scams & Control Frauds against unwitting populations of uninitiated Greater Fools.

Dr. Markopolos is a very fine upstanding fellow that is indeed a hero of all who study Fraud & Financial Intelligence. Unfortunately, the majority of individuals involved in Finance do not study the behaviour
of systems or individuals that are involved in these highly criminalized sectors of governance.

When the toxic waste of Wall Street was made evident by the outright murder of Bear Stearns March 10th 2008 around 11:00am NYC, the maintenance of the Control Fraud became an issue with the Treasury Secretary and his minions like Geithner et cetera. Madoff was merely a peace offering from Wall Street to the ever incompetent Securities & Exchange Commission. Christopher Cox was the lead flunky involved in that debacle and without something to show for his years at the helm of the SEC after the 08 implosion they needed to show the world that they had a principle or progenitor Fraudster to offer up for a public sacrifice.

Once Madoff was arrested the foregone conclusion was to then publically recognize the work of Dr. Markopolos and his team of Fraud Experts.

Assuming that he could be murdered for his knowledge of systemic fraud pre-Madoff arrest was somewhat realistic on his part but by the time Markopolos was involved in the full examination of the systemic fraud it was realistically too late to go around murdering people that had knowledge of the Madoff Ponzi.

Bottom line is that Markopolos never felt like a hero because he knew deep down that the entire system was/is one massive Control Fraud headed up by none other than Goldman Sachs-of-shit & The Giant Vampire Squid that enveloped the entire world with the very same Control Fraud that Dr. Markopolos attempted to disclose to the public for many years and counting.

I personally tip my hat to Dr. Markopolos and his team of Fraud Investigators for their professionalism and ethics that match my own.

God bless him & his team.

Goldman Sachs-of-shit have hypothesized that the Global Economy & Finance is circling the drain each and every business quarter as the Global Hegelian Death Spiral consumes the wealth of the profiteers & Mafia. Assuming that the house-of-cards has architecture worth investing in is anathema to most serious investors like Buffett who knows that the stock market is poised for mean reversion. The Central Banks are all mired in Japan’s lost decade of productivity now that they blew all of their collective firepower on the 08 debacle of global incompetence. GE is rated junk and is indicative of what comes next for USD as all Emerging Markets flock back to USD as a safe haven from hyperinflation & sovereign debt-to-gdp. As the USA repatriates all the malivestment in EM as investors flock to a safe haven USD we will see all the EM tank and evidence mass defaults on tonnes of Non-Performing Loans that will eventually be understood to be systemically perilous to USD performance worldwide. In brief, the Zero Sum End Game is already here and we can expect all out Thermonuclear Hot World War Three as soon as Orange Jesus decides to push the wrong buttons with respect to China, Russian Federation, or North Korea.

In a decision that will undoubtedly outrage conservatives who have sought to highlight the horrors of terrorist groups like ISIS, a French court has ruled that Marine Le Pen, the leader of the party formerly known as the National Front (now National Rally) and runner-up in last year’s French presidential vote, must undergo a psychiatric evaluation to determine whether “she is capable of understanding remarks and answering questions.”
In other words, the court is treating Le Pen as if being conservative is a mental illness.
The ruling follows formal charges that were brought against Le Pen in March after she tweeted gruesome photos of the bodies of innocent people subjected to horrific deaths at the hands of ISIS. The decision horrified conservatives who accused the French government of attempting to criminalize conservative political speech, as it was only the latest example of a disturbing trend in the European Union, per the Local.
Le Pen tweeted her anger at the decision, saying the court’s ruling felt like a “hallucination.”

The American Psychological Association would have to lobby Congress to remove any reference to God on the Constitution and imprimatur fiat before they would form a working group to lobby the American Diagnostic Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders working group on a revision. In addition to that, the entire membership of the APA would have to vote on such a move and I, for one, can assure you that a classification like that would never make it past the vote.

The Government of the United States of America was founded upon the Constitution which enshrines the belief in God & Christianity as the progenitor belief system that governs all in the USA. If the constitutionally enshrined belief system was revised whatsoever the APA would have to rewrite entire reams of Psychopathology just to suit the new paradigm.

You obviously have no understanding of how lazy people are in the APA.

Transhumanism already exists whether believed or not. The Cognitive Revolution coupled with Information Theory & Cybernetics is the way to go in Experimental Psychology but apart from the empirical nature of science, society is run on Cosmological belief of some sort. In brief, humanity by and large needs an operating mythology to govern via top down governance. Adherence to whatever is deemed dogmatic is the norm in most societies that are governed by mores & folkways et cetera. Governing some sort of transhumanist race via mere cybernetic programming and predictive analytics towards some superordinate goal is now highly probably and undoubtedly occurring outside of mainstream discourse that only regards such notion as incredulous at best.

From Remote Viewing I can assure you that Transhumanism is already taking place. But our world here on Planet Earth is dogmatically believed to be singularly inhabited by man as defined by Chuckles Darwin and the Theory of Evolution. Christianity was here before Darwin, and AI will surpass them all I agree. Unfortunately, mainstream society disagrees with our view.

The second most important think Harry did was prove Madoff’s scam could be discovered by discovering it. The most important was that he proved that despite the taxpayers paying hundreds of millions of dollars to an agency supposedly aimed at discovering it, they didn’t. Even when it was handed to them on a silver platter by Harry, still didn’t.

Is it any wonder when their enforcement division’s assistant director is Peter Strzok’s wife? And that she was promoted to that position just as her husband was ‘being useful’ to TPTB? Does anyone think things are on the up and up there? I don’t mean to imply that she’s the bad apple in the bunch. She’s the bad apple in a bunch of bad apples. If you read the book you will learn the SEC does not even subscribe to financial news services, magazines like Forbes or Fortune or the Wall Street Journal. Nothing.
He also relates that every finance analyst he showed the Madoff financial reports to concluded within 90 seconds I believe, that it was a Ponzi.
Some stupid drone attorney named Meghan Cheung at SEC blew Harry off “because he wasn’t a Madoff investor.” Apparently a guy investigating a fund for potential big Dollar investors discovering fraud meant nothing to these people. Harry further states that many of the “investigators” who did go to Madoff’s office took their resumes with them and applied for employment!

Good article as always. I’m not too sure much has changed and whistle blowers though often heroes usually get the bums rush and can endanger their lives by speaking out. The SEC certainly doesn’t like them and will quickly move to remove any of the commissioners or staff if there is even a whiff of ” doing the right thing” when it comes to pointing out fraud of any member of their club.

I vaguely remember a lady in the SEC some time ago that was trying to put a stop to the derivatives and was quickly sent packing. Just this summer the SEC gutted it’s whistle blower program.

The new head of NYC schools, some Hispanic scum, is mandating that pretty much every NYC school have 50% of students be black, poor, or non-English speaking. All testing to get into the better schools is now verboten. It’s just not fair.

Today that was extended to a highly regarded school dedicated to the ARTS. Students will no longer be required to audition for the music program. That’s because auditioning is stressful to young kids and …. inherently racist. The school MUST now be half nignog, etc. And it matters not one bit whether the “student” can play an instrument.

However, looking back, we spent a small fortune for our son to get his black belt in Tae Kwon Do and some folks do cheerleading, others track or swimming…

What I am leading to is this: The last visit I had there I attended a recital. During the finale, when all the dancers were on stage, some obviously “challenged” young people were pretending to dance around the others. As the attacks on 9/11 have been brought back to the forefront of my attention via the 17th anniversary of those attacks, it behooves me to not leave the subject without further observations.

By now, any thinking person has had plenty of time to devote at least some study to what happened on September 11, 2001. And it is relatively safe to say that truly objective and reasoned people have concluded (to one degree or another) that what we have been told about the 9/11 attacks was mostly (if not completely) a bunch of hot air. In fact, as time goes by, more people come to doubt—if not totally disbelieve—the official story about 9/11. And that’s putting it mildly. I will even go so far as to say that the only people today who actually believe the official story about 9/11 are the ones who have done absolutely no objective, independent study into the matter.

And if the official narrative of 9/11 is false, logic and reason demand that those who were complicit in the attacks were people who were powerful enough and well positioned enough to be able to pull off the attacks without being discovered, while, at the same time, successfully implicating innocent people as being the perpetrators. Obviously, such a plan involves—at least to a degree—government resources.

At this point, I think it is helpful to remind everyone that while government might be thoroughly inept about many, if not most, of its activities (no organization in the world spends more money and takes the combined efforts of more people to accomplish less good than America’s federal government), the one thing that government is able to do exceptionally well is kill people and destroy property. No organization in the world is more proficient at killing people and destroying things than government. They are the world’s foremost killing machines. R.J. Rummell’s exhaustive research in Death By Government chronicles the fact that over 262 million people were murdered by despotic governments around the world during the 20th century alone. Government has killed more people than all of the gangsters, mass shooters and terrorists of the world combined—by a million-fold.

To think that the attacks of 9/11 would be outside the realm of possibility for government culpability is the height of naiveté. To any rational thinking person, the ONLY entity that could pull off such an operation as brilliantly and seamlessly as the attacks on 9/11 had to be government—or at least elements within government. Furthermore, the possibility that there was a collaboration of more than one government involved in the 9/11 attacks must also be considered highly likely.

For all intents and purposes, there are only three governments in the world today that have the military and intelligence sophistication to pull off an elaborate attack (such as 9/11) inside the Continental United States: the U.S., of course, Great Britain and Israel. Truly, anyone who thinks that 19 mostly uneducated and benighted Arabs from the Middle East could successfully abscond three Boeing 767 aircraft, circumvent and outsmart the most sophisticated and protected airspace in the world and expertly navigate those jet aircraft into a precision attack against ground targets that even many of the most highly skilled pilots in the world could not perform—all by taking a crash course in flying Cessna propeller airplanes, no less—is, well, gullible beyond all remedy.

The 9/11 attacks were mass-killing crimes. The perpetrators were master criminals. And they are still at large. Which brings me to Donald Trump.

Donald Trump was elected President on the promise that he would drain the swamp and dismantle the Deep State. And many conservatives and Christians thoroughly believe that Trump is actually doing what he promised. But is he? I think not.

Donald Trump had one chance to prove that he was serious about draining the swamp and dismantling the Deep State. One chance. That one chance was his first two years in office. And he blew it.

Trump appointed more Deep State CFR members and Bilderbergers (including Neil Gorsuch, James Mattis, John Bolton, et al.) to his administration than Barack Obama. And don’t be taken in by all of the political bickering surrounding Trump’s Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh. The conservatives’ defense of Kavanaugh is as irrelevant as the liberals’ accusations against Kavanaugh. The fact is, Kavanaugh is a Deep State toady who is up to his neck in covering up the government’s murder of former Clinton Deputy White House Counsel Vince Foster. Speaking of which, Trump has done nothing to bring the Deep State witch, Hillary Clinton, to justice like he said he would do, either.

In addition (and more relevant to the 9/11 discussion), Trump brought Deep State warlock, Rudy Giuliani, to the White House. As Mayor of New York City, Giuliani, more than any other single individual, provided cover for the real attackers of 9/11 by overseeing the massive effort of destroying the evidence from that horrific crime scene.

Rudy Giuliani is the quintessential Deep State operative. The criminals who masterminded and carried out the 9/11 attacks could not have succeeded without the help of Rudy Giuliani. He was a major player in 9/11. Yet, Trump brings this conscienceless Deep State puppet into the White House and gives him one of the most trusted positions in his government.

Had Trump been serious about draining the swamp and dismantling the Deep State, he would have begun immediately after being inaugurated exposing the major Deep State players from both parties (including the Clintons, Bushes, Dick Cheney, Giuliani, Michael Chertoff, etc.) and from the alphabet agencies that have millions of skeletons (literally) in their bloody closets. But instead of exposing them, Trump continued to cover for them or even HIRE them.

But instead of hiring Deep State toadies like Giuliani, Trump should have created an independent commission to thoroughly investigate 9/11. If he had been serious about dismantling the Deep State, that is exactly what he would have done. But he didn’t; and he won’t. He won’t because Trump is determined to keep the crimes of the Deep State covered up.

Beyond that, the epicenter of the global Deep State is Benjamin Netanyahu’s Zionist State of Israel. And what does Trump do here? He panders to Israel; increases financial and military support for Israel; denies humanitarian funding for Israeli-persecuted Palestinians; refuses to recognize Israel’s illegal occupation of Jerusalem, Gaza and the West Bank; joins Israel in attacking Syria; amasses U.S. armed forces to assist Israel’s myriad wars in the Middle East, etc., ad infinitum. Had Trump been serious about dismantling the Deep State, he would have exposed Israel’s bloodlust in the Middle East, it’s control over the U.S. Congress and the major news media and its manifold treacheries against the United States. And that includes exposing Israel’s cold-blooded attack on the USS Liberty 50 years ago and Israel’s complicity in the 9/11 attacks.

Had Trump been serious about draining the swamp and dismantling the Deep State, he would have also begun dismantling America’s burgeoning Police State. And, furthermore, he would have kept his promise to get our troops out of the Deep State’s perpetual “War on Terror” in the Middle East.

Trump did none of the above. Instead, he expanded and escalated all of the above.

From this point on, it doesn’t matter to a tinker’s dam what Trump does or doesn’t do, as he has proven that he either didn’t mean a word he said while campaigning or didn’t have the man stuff to actually follow through with what he promised. From now on, Trump will be simply dancing the famous Potomac Two-Step all over Washington, D.C.—when he’s not playing golf, that is. Yes, did you know that Trump has spent 25% of his time in office so far on the various golf courses he owns? That’s a FACT. Yeah! Chasing birdies is a great way to fight the Deep State.

Folks, let this sink in: the Deep State has nothing to do with partisan politics. It has nothing to do with the entire left-right political wrangling, name calling, posturing, etc., that consumes the mainstream media. All of that is nothing but public theater to distract the American people from what is really going on—or NOT going on.

Donald Trump had one chance to prove he was serious about draining the swamp and dismantling the Deep State: his first two years in office. And the 17th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks serves as just another reminder that HE BLEW IT!

P.S. I, again, urge readers to buy Christopher Bollyn’s masterful exposé on who and what was behind the 9/11 attacks and America’s ongoing “War on Terror.” The book is entitled The War On Terror: The Plot To Rule The Middle East.

We have been bamboozled, folks. Everything we’ve been told about 9/11 and the “War on Terror” is a big fat LIE. And no one has done more investigative research exposing these lies than Christopher Bollyn.

If enough of the American people could come to grips with the truth about 9/11 and the “War on Terror,” it would change the course of history, save thousands and even millions of lives and, yes, save our republic. As it is, the deception of 9/11 and the “War on Terror” envelops both political parties in Washington, D.C., including Donald Trump—and even America’s pastors and churches.

Bollyn’s book shatters the myths and destroys the lies. It names names, tracks time and identifies the criminal cabal that masterminded the 9/11 attacks that took America into an everlasting, never-ending, perpetual “War on Terror” that has killed millions and will kill millions more unless the American people wake up and put a stop to this global catastrophe.

Well, I pretty much know where you stand! Why is it when I criticize government, an age old practice in America, the moderator kills my posts and you get away with it? Go figure!

Look, Trump can’t do anything without the support of the people. There are too many enemies gunning for him. People’s beliefs need to be changed and that’s a very slow process. People tenaciously cling to their belief structure because that’s part of the Ego and the Ego sees change as death and fights to prevent it from happening. There is a lot of truth on the internet, but we select only that that is in agreement with our belief structure. It’s call Confirmational Bias. Aside from revelatory experience, change is very slow. There are numerous real life example of this truth that I won’t go into.

Don’t count Trump out just yet. It all takes time.

There are a lot of good comments from people who either have passed on or moved on. I, for one, miss them.

Nearly 5 years later and and nothing has changed, indeed, things are much worse. We are staring CBDC’s in the face. Some believe they will bring them in this year. I’m not sure they are ready and I don’t think it will work.

Thanks for re-posting. It was nice to read comments from people we never hear from anymore.
