Glock- Klaus is saying after the grid down destruction of the net, you have to get the shit shot or you won’t be eligible to be on the “new” net. The grid down could only be a week or two, it’s theater to show their power over you, without the biometric signature you can’t play. Would be funny if this plan goes the same way META went with the “alternate reality” that nobody participated in.

They will blame the Russian for sure, the Ruskies know this.

At the rate of all these “sudden deaths”and covid shenanigans coming to light..would be a great opportunity to shut off the old source of information once and for all…once they turn the lights , who ever and whatever is left will most likely sign up to whatever and whichever way the people in charge tell them. Game is lost IMO.
From here on out it’s all about you and your family just surviving this decade

if the grid stayed down for a long time, they would have a big problem too, as NG pumps, diesel delivery and propane would not be available to replenish their private/personal generators. some of us will do fine without the grid. There are families right now living comfortably off grid throughout the country.

Think about it for a second.

If you take down the internet, an addiction now to most. What happens after that??

For one most will do ANYTHING to get back into their slavery addiction lives.

They work in concert, so the ‘new’ net access will REQUIRE you to have a digital ID, the equivalent of “Papers Please”. Get it? Now if you have no ID, seems you are not allowed to travel, buy groceries or enter stores period. Seems your social credit scores are to low as well for you to pay for anything either. Can’t pay your taxes, well thats sad, seems you’ll be moving soon too.

Its often toted that you won’t be able to use gold, bartering etc because the govt will ban it all and send out the spies. I always laugh at these shills.

What really happens…. is the black market grows. Something the govt and their spies have no control over. Plus bartering can be fun.

Hoard current coin. We are basically on a copper nickel standard, and copper has been used as money for at least as long as silver and gold. The nickel is the same as it has been since first issued, except for a brief time during the war years. People have been accepting the current coin (except for the zinc penny, though even zinc washer cost more than a penny) for close to 60 years, and I see no reason for that to change shtf. Cost nothing to hoard it and there really is no down side.

Mass suicide. Not even kidding. Take away the social media and millions would kill themselves after about a week of withdrawals. Your average NPC simply could not survive without internet validation of their TwitFace posts. It is all they have know for more at least a generation.

And heartless me is looking forward to the day.

EDIT to add;

They would all starve if they did not kill themselves. Doordash and other food delivery, not to mention the only way they know how to pay, would be down.

Yes me too but actually it’s another major way to destroy small businesses, especially rural people.

I always thought they would shut it down for a limited period and bring it up again but ‘different’. Many things just gone.
It’s already been ruined to a large extent by the search engines. Anyone trying to do research on say, orchards, would see that in an instant. Government, ads, garbage and the same ones over and over. These intermixed with things totally unrelated.

And error. Have you noticed the growing mistakes? Weather reports weirdly wrong, GPS coordinates wrong, etc.

BL,

I ran a one man consulting company from 2005 retiring in 2015, reported to the owners, worked in over 70 companies in 27 states without one single contract.

I gave all my clients a lean one page bullet point mutual agreement with basic terms.

Never had one problen getting paid or with any client.

Once my rep was established I didn’t have to do any sales calls after the first three clients the first year.

Many clients were shocked at first…but once the word got out I couldn’t keep up with business.

I also didn’t send the first invoice until I delivered some of what they had hired me for.

Not if you fail to read and understand them.
What you’re talking about is boilerplate, take-it-or-leave-it contracts, which, believe it or not used to be considered invalid, especially in situations of uneven bargaining power. I do my best to avoid those whenever I can.
Contract Law, like all law in the U.S. has been corrupted, …. badly.
That doesn’t make all contracts bad, or the concept of contracts a bad idea.

You can have a lot of fun with contracts. The multi page boilerplate ones especially.

You are allowed to modify any contract, pretty much however you want. Change what you don’t like in any contract, sign it, COPY IT and send THE COPY BY REGISTERED MAIL to the issuer. Nobody reviews the many pages, so once they start whatever service, they have accepted your terms.

I changed the amount on a cable contract once, then mailed them a copy, registered. When they tried to charge me interest for “non-payment”, I sent the copy again. They tried to say that they never agreed to the contract, I pointed out that by providing the service after receiving the registered copy, they agreed to my terms. They huffed and puffed but nothing ever came of it. Never paid them the ~$700 they claimed I owed.

Try it. Nothing to lose.

Railroads were notorious for writing no change contracts that protected them as much as possible. If an accident occurred, you had more liability than them and had to agree to indemnify them for any actions. It is why my company quit doing business with them, if a contract was involved.

Learn to code. Morse code.

‘One Second After’ was at times gripping and entertaining but what stayed with me was the lingering thought experiments probing the various second- and third-order reactions and circumstances.

“The lights go out” is one thing. The lights go out with no discernable indication that they will come back on is something else.

Then there is the way that the 90% cull predicted as a result of such an EMP event takes on a force of its own. The various cascade conditions of modern fragility – both human and inanimate infrastructure and material alike, leave me wondering just how some cabal could manage such a thing – even though the population reduction has them rubbing hands, without unforeseen overtaking Elysium.

Once upon a time NYC could be blacked out and not manage to devour itself in a few days. Not so sure that could happen again.

In hunt for red october, the scene when jack ryan on the sub is trying to game the question of “how do you get a crew to get off a nuclear submarine? how do you get a crew to WANT to get off a NUCLEAR…”.

In this regard, “Covid” gamed out a few important social matters.

First, people in the safest time in history can become terrified rather easily and without the signals even being in observable physical reality. IOW, ‘never trust your lying eyes, we will tell you what to fear’ actually works for enough of the population to matter.

Second, smart phones (apps/google/social media), ivory tower legacy media, and the “internet” are totally converged to their cause and/or can be purchased to that cause quickly and easily. The world is not just flat, but teeny.

Third, enough people will do pretty much anything – per the two above, in order to keep some shred of ‘normal’ and to keep their paycheck coming, to institute a de facto social order predicated (and enforced) entirely upon The Narrative. Ordinary Men meets Brave new World.

So I think whatever they do will not be as much ‘turn off the lights’ as ‘move toward the light’.

IMO, they will turn out the light to first re-enforce to be very afraid. Then they will turn on a small light because those very afraid, will run towards it and will pay anything to be under it again. You’ll get used to the shackles, no worries say the enslaved. Just go along to get along.

Yup.

I used to follow a fella in Venezuela that would write weekly what was happening there during their collapse. How neighbourhoods devolved into ruin and violence. How that really nice guy down the street became one of the worse sadistic violent creeps out there when there was no longer a threat of being arrested or even held to account.

Banks closed their doors and slammed access to accts over night. Then when opened you were allowed your $20/per ration, from your acct. How getting out of the bank or grocery store was always risky because of gangs and thugs looking to relieve you of your money or what little food you could buy. Pets were eaten as were the animals in the local zoos. Everything about a very modern country and cities went back to primitive survival of the fittest.

They said the same things there… It could never happen here. Until it did. Like in Sarajevo Bosnia, Croatia or Venezuela
