A lot of people have suggested what you suggest (glowies mainly), but I’ve never heard a viable idea that would work, except for mine, and we either screw that up (jan 6th) or refuse to follow through.
So let’s review. You have to have a casus belli and you have to have an army willing and able (ability, logistics, leadership) to use as leverage.
It has been decades now, and I see very little to none of any of those 3 being that much farther ahead, if at all, and in some cases worse, like leadership.

Not for my wife praying every waking hour (I was agnostic) and visiting a church in the town we lived, getting the congregation and preacher to pray and a scant few coming to the hospital to see me while I was in a coma, I’d not still be here and currently at 99% of who I was. My sole disability is that I was out of shape before my stroke and still am. I was a tractor-trailer driver and have the physical condition that tends to go along with that. But having been all but dead and not even realizing it, it shouldn’t matter if it happens again. I do have quite the self-preservation instinct and never want to leave this earth until God calls my number. But should the day or midnight hour come when ‘they’ come; I’ll be ready to take one or more with me, so I hope their resolve is greater than mine. I also carry everywhere I go. But this is only if you were addressing my comment, if not, carry on.
