The 19th Amendment and the Pharmaceutical Nanny State

The 19th Amendment was preceded by a long history of female activism before its’ passage in 1913.  It released changes of gigantic proportions in our political and social systems that are destabilizing our lives today.  Half of the population became eligible to vote and influence the direction of the country.  The 19th combined with the new trendy socialist parties began their march that has led us to the precipice.  The connection to the Pharma companies began in the 1950’s and has grown astronomically.  Together they have changed the course of our country for the worse.  Allied with the excuse of maternal societal concern is a bridge to political and personal dominance that created the nanny state.

The 1920’s were a boom time for many in the cities.  The women were inclined to vote in political concert with the men in their families and about 8 million out of a pool of 26 million voted.  Many in rural communities were too busy trying to grow enough to eat to worry about petty things like lying politicians. The rural problems continued throughout the depression but things began to change with the labor shortage created by WW2.  The social stretches and changes around “Rosie the Riveter” during this period are often forgotten but they created a springboard for the future dominance of our political process.

Thalidomide was the first step towards our demise. The AMA and the Pharma group believed it was an easy way to pad their earnings and jumped on it.  It was to be initially proscribed as an anti-nausea and stability treatment for neurotic pregnant women.  It was not adequately tested and it was found to mutate babies in various terrible ways.  Valium hit the market in 1963 and was prescribed to help control erratic behaviors. Midol and the birth control pill soon followed. Midol was the quick answer for menstrual stability problems.  The birth control pill used hormones as well and these also affect the emotional well being of women.  The early forms were in effect tested on our population.  The results became known and other types and strengths were developed.

The last step in the social acceptance of drugs in your daily life had been reached.  The psychiatrists now realized that an alliance with the drug manufacturers would be quite profitable and jumped in for their piece of the pie.  This allowed many states to close their mental hospitals since they could be replaced by self administered drugs.  We now rely on the honesty and integrity of the drug companies for our mental health.   The journey to emotional growth and maturity was eliminated by little pills while desensitizing us to the idea of outside control of our lives through socialism.

Women were acclimatized to a continuing intake of various chemical treatments.  This also coincided with the sexual revolution which basically means roll over and spread’em for fun and profit.  The propaganda that was being pushed by the feminist movement declared that women cannot be fulfilled by staying home and caring for a family.  The machinations of the politicians with the financial system created inflation which reduced the pay of the male in the household.  The women admirably stepped to the fore.  Another check in the family would help pay for a house, car, clothes and education.  The tide of womens’ awareness in politics and working conditions was rising rapidly. A new department in the democrat party was formed for a womens’ movement.  They quickly realized that the politicians were easily intimidated by a few news stories and pressed their advantage accordingly.

The womens’ vote began to take on more power as  obvious inequalities were exposed and addressed.  The majority of the women still voted in a similar manner as their household finances dictated.  The labor laws were updated in favor of this new situation. The enticement of a pile of papers on a desk began to struggle with the pull of the nursery.  The babies were now a social and political factor that began to lead legislation in many areas.  Pregnancy leave became the norm even in the armed forces. Title 9 repurposed athletic funds in education. Sexual harassment rose to the surface legally.  Social welfare laws became the norm as the maternal perspective continued its’ rise in politics.

Today the children of these early feminists are in charge.  They are quite a sorry lot.  In their defense they have been inured with drugs since their time in the womb. Even worse has been the destruction of the family created by the “freedoms” gained by the boomer generation and their offspring.  Any boomer will remember the small sign that was placed in the back window of cars in the 1970’s. “Baby on Board”  That was the beginning of the “I need attention” female.  Their little devils were catered to from the cradle to have little or no responsibility.  Mommy was so proud of her litter that nothing could stop her babbling about the babies’ perfection.  They were all so great that every one of them got a blue ribbon to give to mommy.  It made her feel great about herself and mommy loved the attention that even drugs could not replace.

We also have a phenomena known as the helicopter parent.  Everything is controlled!  They have even coined a system called play dates.  Mommy decides when and where you go and who your friends are.  What happened to spontaneity?  The concept of “be home at dinner” and “don’t slam the door on your way out” are a foreign language.  This same concept of the helicopter is the system now used by our governmental betters in all portions of our lives. The government is now a true nanny state that appeals to the instincts of the drug addled.

There is a program and oversight for every child in the country. These are the kids that had mothers who were raised on drugs and they have also been reared on drugs instead of discipline. This is the tyrants dream of true socialism.  The STEM graduates from colleges have quite a significant number of international students.  Those kids were not raised on valium, Adderall or Ritalin but with a paddle. Hmmm?

The intellect and good judgement of women has been diluted for great profits as well as political control.  Our naive belief in medicine has been used against us to pollute the whole society.  Until we clean the Big Pharma from our bodies, we will be controlled by the socialist nanny state to our detriment.
