My (fiery) 15 year old daughter (now a fiery 46 year old cutting a wide swath in life) was moved by me 7 times before she graduated HS.
In her next to the last move (8th grade) she stood up for herself as the New Girl… and took on the leader of the female black pack.
No back down in that girl then…long a formidable woman.
Once I got all the details and researched the girl who tried to pick on her…and knew her record…I got the Vice Principle alone…laid out what really happened…the aggressor’s record…and told him if there was a second attack I was coming for him.
My flying spittle coming across his desk left him stunned.
I doubt he ever had that level of real threat before. (I try to contain myself…but often escape).
The bully (with a long record) was expelled.
My daughter still knows the strike moves I drilled into her…she still has a killer front ankle snap kick.

In a much different situation, my brother’s older daughter was at a frat party … some POS tried something with her that she didn’t want … she punched him and knocked him over the rail of the 2d floor balcony …

When my daughter was 19 she got lost and found herself in an industrial area…she backed into a driveway that led to a warehouse (not another person in site) and a car with a twenty something black guy zoomed in with his car…blocked her in, rolled his window down and started asking her where she was going…what’s your name baby…yada yada, yada.
She rolled her window down and told him in a loud and firm voice….MOVE YOUR CAR.
He kept asking her questions and she yelled…MOVE YOUR CAR NOW!
Then she backed up…raced her engine and told me.
“Dad you were in my head…if he was going to keep me blocked in I was going to ram him, back up and keep ramming until I got out.
I had always told her to never, ever show fear to a boy, man or pack of either…they can be like dogs…back them down the smartest way you can without insulting them…and get away the fastest.
When he saw she was getting ready to ram him he quickly moved forward and she shot around him.
(She had a knife on her and we had practiced all the basic knife fight moves).
