While i was in the waiting room they asked me to go outside to wait because i was bleeding so much it was freaking people out. Scalped by the corner of the shed. I looked like fucken Carrie when the bucket of blood got dumped on her head.
Just wait until the hospital does an audit on your bill. We took our son to the emergency room and thought we had paid all of the bills. About 3 months later we received another bill for an additional $250, because they did an’audit’ of the charges. Insurance said it happens sometimes.
A proper audit would identify all the non-payers you paid for.
At least half your bills.

I “needed” stitches on my thumb. Went to ER. “How much will this cost?” Evasion, let’s look at it, wait for the doctor, let us clean it up, don’t know, let us take care of it first, there – its all better. “How much will this cost?” They ask the guy who is cleaning – he says it’s a {code}. “That’ll be $1400.00 for 3 stitches, we take credit cards.”
