Not if you can kill two birds with one stone, i.e. sink a failing sister ship (Brittanic/Olympic) that had to be disposed of anyway, pretend it was the Titanic, and then collect insurance money. Dead opponents + large sums of money received = win win

I think navel accidents fell under the purview of the navel military court. Of course it couldn’t have been the military’s fault so they pinned the blame on the Olympic. I believe this documentary is the true story of what happened.

You beat me to the post. Mathis has proven not one of any big, influential headline stories plus lots of secondary ones too our entire lifetimes is true as presented. Name it.
Miles Mathis is a certifiable nutcase. He is right about a lot of stuff, but he thinks virtually everything is a hoax, including the sinking of the Titanic. It is likely that the Titanic was not actually the Titanic, but rather the Titanic’s sister ship the Olympic, which was deliberately sunk. But that is not what Miles Mathis says. He says that neither the Titanic nor any ship purported to be the Titanic sank in the Atlantic Ocean on April 15, 1912, and the whole thing was a giant hoax.
The nutcase pandemic we have in society regarding any subject is overwhelmingly the people who pick and choose to support the belief they want to believe…and most stubbornly, their penchant to outright dismiss another viewpoint that challenges their egos’ need to be right without taking any time whatsoever to understand and disprove what has added up to be convincing to another/many others.
What are the flaws that you found in Miles’ argument of negating any sinking ships, especially regarding why the underwater photos presented as fact were impossible …and what facts negate his summary argument in a way that makes what you believe unquestioningly verifiable differently?
The link to the photos in the Toronto Star that he has in his post only shows text on my browser – it doesn’t display any photos. But regardless of whether or not some of the photos appear to be fake, or are fake, that doesn’t mean the whole thing was a hoax. The papers could have used other photos (because they didn’t have the real ones), and claimed they were photos of the Titanic (or iceberg, lifeboats, etc). That happens all the time, even to this day, especially on television news.
He also spends a lot of time claiming that an iceberg could not have caused the Titanic to sink, and that is probably true. It was probably an intentional explosion that caused the ship to sink. See my link to the Lew Rockwell post in my comment below at 11:41 AM today. All he has succeeded in doing is proving that the official narrative is a lie, which it probably is. But that doesn’t mean that the Titanic, or a ship purported to be the Titanic, didn’t sink, any more than the fact that the official narrative of 9/11 is a lie means that no buildings in New York City collapsed on 9/11/01. (Incidentally, if I remember correctly, Miles Mathis also claimed that 9/11 was a hoax, and no buildings in New York City collapsed.)

The two things Miles gets wrong from my viewpoint are:
1. His obsession with farcical geneaologies is a world where virtually any gap in the genealogy is filled by a Mathisian “fudge” whereas any name spelled remotely close, is good enough, and of course Jews lurk in every dark corner.
2. His “TelevisionProcedural” knowledge of “law”. My personal favorite Mathisian faceplant is his “police won’t take a missing person report until 24/48 hours.
A simple check of the states and the fed laws say a missing persons report must be made at time of report.
Waiting 24-48 hours? A TV induced legal myth.

The real story is that the Titanic was actually its sister ship the Olympic, as Bob Ballard discovered when he located the wreck…The Olympic had been damaged by the Royal Navy, so it needed to be sunk to collect the insurance from Lloyds..Some prominent people, like J.P.Morgan were aware of this in advance, and changed their plans to travel or ship art on the ship…

The conspiracy regarding the sinking of the Titanic is not discussed much, in fact the first time that I ever heard about it was when I read the following Lew Rockwell post in 2015, and I have only heard or seen it mentioned a few times since then. But based on this Lew Rockwell post and the other posts that I have read it seems highly likely that the sinking of the Titanic was indeed deliberate, for the reasons mentioned in this video, and also to collect the insurance money for the damaged Olympic, which was the ship that actually sank.
Seems sketchy to *rely* on a ship hitting an iceburg to sink it. Even if you could count on a kamikaze captain to deliberately steer it into one, your taking a risk it won’t sink.
The iceberg was in the script.
It was not in any ocean.
