A friend’s wife was attacked by one a couple months ago and she’ll probably never regain full function of one of her hands. It also did some damage to one of her feet as she tried to kick at it. Luckily someone was driving by and helped her or she probably would have been killed.
That is horrible. My neighbor witnessed my 18 month old Pyrenees fight off two of them. She came over worried my dog might have got hurt. Not a scratch, but she sent them packing. She is good with children, baby animals, people, other dogs, chickens and poultry. Pitbulls were made to kill dogs in a ring. That is not going to get bred out, except to make the pitbull not a pitbull.
A lot of exotic crosses need permits until F3 or beyond, but for some reason pitbulls are legal.

I don’t get why anyone wants pit bulls. Why do you want a pet that can kill you?
Owned one pitty and a staffie just before we got our latest rescue. The dogs, like ANY large breed can be dangerous. Its all in the training. Its why I ADVOCATE strongly that the OWNERS be responsible. These asswipes that train their dogs to be aggressive should be charged with assault with a deadly weapon.
But what happens is the dog is put down and the asswipe owner goes and gets another dog and repeats the cycle. Its the asswipe OWNERS that are the problem, not the dogs.
We have a pit mix and he is one of the best dogs I have ever owned. Also one of the sweetest.
I’ve met one or two pit bulls like that. It’s all about the socialization.
Hard to digest. That was brutal. Pitbulls have some massive jaws. Saw pics of a poor baby that was beheaded. Headless body was sitting up and the contents of the stomach showed two blue eyes. Owner’s fault.

Cop probably used a 9mm conversation interrupter, that was a mistake, don’t cops have shotguns in their unit? WTF? If you saw a pack of pit bulls and a cane corso killing someone, in the middle of the street with cars and people around, would you grab your pop gun or a shotgun?
