How could someone destroy the Japanese school system and all the students as well?
Pass a set of laws that public schools are no longer just for human children. Require all schools to educate chimpanzees as well. Schools that do not have any chimpanzees must bus them in so that all Japanese children may benefit from social interactions with the chimps. When it becomes apparent that the chimps cannot do math, grammar, or history, (although they seem to do well at purely physical activities), pass more laws. Punish, arrest, or fine any teachers or school systems which do not pass chimps at the same rate as human children. Force schools to “dumb down” their curricula so that even a chimpanzee can pass. Lower behavioral standards to allow hooting, floor pounding, and slinging feces. Explain that slinging feces is “perfectly natural, admirable, and an expression of intrinsic chimpanzee culture”. Expel students who disagree. Do not punish chimps who beat up human students. In fact, when a fight breaks out, punish the human, and accuse him of anti-chimp thought crimes. Eventually, even the human children will be indistinguishable from the apes.
Of course a program like this will take time. It can’t be instituted overnight. Best estimates? Fifty or sixty years…

This coming academic year, my husband and I decided to assign areas of the house that each child is responsible for cleaning, on a rotational basis. That is in addition of doing their own laundry.
Also, our rising high schooler will have 8 books assigned to him which he has to read, and I have decided to read then at the same time (since I lack knowledge of classics of English literature). So far, it has been fun for my husband and me to brainstorm ideas for which books we will choose.

My lady and her daughter and I lived together for about 2 1/2 years — last year of college and 1st year of law school. Her daughter was 7 1/2 years old when we moved in, almost 10 when she and her daughter left.
When the daughter was 9 years old, she asked for some of my books to read … and, after I explained some of them to her, she chose ‘The Hobbit’ and the 3-volume set of the ‘Lord of the Rings’ …
She read all 4 books within less than 8 months … and it provided some of the most amazing family discussions over dinner or relaxing …
The mother was an extraordinary woman … and the daughter has followed in her footsteps.
I had many chores I had to do as a kid because they were necessary (laundry, gardening, livestock, hauling shit, cooking), but the ones I was ‘assigned’ I still hate to this day. I read constantly and I love books, but I don’t recall anything that was required in school that I ever enjoyed.
Not criticising, I think I’m saying you might want to leave some options open. Like give a bigger list of books but let them choose. Just a thought.

Margaret Sanger and her ilk nearly ruined Russia promoting abortion/birth control into their culture, citing equality in the workplace among other things. Russia nows pays women to have babies. Birth control is low in Japan although they have a strong work ethic. A couple of articles said it’s low wages and high costs of living, and family values are antithetical to out of wedlock births as main reasons for low birthrates. Perhaps the Japanese government could offer incentives to men and women in addressing the costs and work/living situations in order to expand their population, or the people collectively might have to take action, i.e., less women in the workforce, which may require reorganizing their economy.

Public and private schools alike are unfit to properly teach children.
