Featuring interviews with experts discussing “inconvenient science,” the new documentary “Unsafe and Ineffective” exposes lies by pharmaceutical companies, public health officials and the mainstream media about the safety and efficacy of COVID-19 vaccines.
“The vaccine is safe and effective,” the newscaster asserts confidently, his words echoing the familiar mantra that dominated the public airwaves during the rollout of the COVID-19 vaccines.
The news clip is from the new documentary, “Unsafe and Ineffective,” produced by Aubrey Marcus and directed by Ben Joseph Stewart.
The filmmakers delve into the hidden realities of the COVID-19 vaccine launch, exposing the impact the vaccines had on countless lives worldwide and the lies and obfuscations of pharmaceutical companies, public health officials and the mainstream media.
Featuring interviews with Ed Dowd, author of “‘Cause Unknown’: The Epidemic of Sudden Deaths in 2021 and 2022 and 2023,” and Dr. Robert Malone, an early pioneer in mRNA technology, the film critically examines the history of the vaccine and what the filmmakers claim was a widespread misinformation campaign accompanying its distribution.
Interspersed with newscast clips, newspaper headlines and podcast interviews, “Unsafe and Ineffective” spotlights the chorus of claims by mainstream media contrasted with otherwise-censored experts sharing “inconvenient science” and images of people suffering adverse vaccine reactions — even “dying suddenly” on sports fields.
Questioning the efficacy of COVID vaccines
Despite the widespread promotion of COVID-19 vaccines as the key to ending the pandemic, the documentary presents compelling evidence challenging their effectiveness.
“Many of us know that people who’ve been vaccinated are still getting COVID,” Marcus tells Malone.
Malone cites a Cleveland Clinic study, which concluded, “The more of these inoculations you take, the more likely you are to develop the disease.”
The documentary also exposes the questionable nature of the vaccine trials, with one CBSN (CBS News’ 24/7 streaming service) newscaster parroting Pfizer’s claim that “During its study, none of the fully vaccinated kids became infected with COVID-19.”
The claim was later contradicted by reports of fully vaccinated individuals suffering breakthrough infections.
‘Orwellian’ mandates and the fight for medical freedom
The film delves into the controversial topic of vaccine mandates and how they affected individual freedoms.
“It was kind of Orwellian,” actor Tim Robbins tells Russell Brand. “At first, if you were a Democrat, and when Trump was president, you weren’t going to take that vaccine because it was Trump’s vaccine. And then if you didn’t take the vaccine, you were a Republican.”
The documentary highlights the troubling reality that many people felt coerced into getting vaccinated to keep their jobs or participate in society.
Neil deGrasse Tyson parrots the public health line about overloaded hospitals in one clip. In another, attorney Alan Dershowitz asserts, “If you refuse to be vaccinated, the state has the power to plunge a needle into your arm.”
Big Pharma’s influence and the suppression of alternative treatments
“Unsafe and Ineffective” also explores the role of pharmaceutical giants in shaping the pandemic response and suppressing lifesaving treatments.
“Pfizer was heavily lobbying for COVID vaccine mandates,” says Marcus.
A montage of over a dozen different news shows’ sponsor segments all repeat the same line: “Sponsored by Pfizer.”
The film also highlights the case of ivermectin, a promising alternative treatment largely ignored or discredited by mainstream media and health authorities.
“Ivermectin alone, if properly utilized, is capable of driving this pathogen to extinction,” evolutionary biologist Bret Weinstein tells Joe Rogan on “The Joe Rogan Experience” podcast.
Dr. Pierre Kory, co-founder and president emeritus of the FLCCC Alliance, tells Rogan, “The science around ivermectin is up against one of the largest and most powerful disinformation campaigns … almost ever.”
Delving into the media’s role in spreading misinformation about alternative treatments, the documentary showcases clips of news anchors and pundits dismissing ivermectin as a “horse dewormer.”
‘There will be another pandemic’
The film serves as a stark warning about the potential for future pandemics and the need to learn from the mistakes made during the COVID-19 crisis.
On the Feb. 19 CHD.TV episode, “Unsafe and Ineffective: Meet the Creator,” Marcus emphasized the importance of being prepared and informed.
“Being armed with the knowledge, being armed with the truth, and finding that place inside yourself where you’re willing to stand and be courageous — both now and in the event of another pandemic — I think is incredibly important,” he said.
Marcus noted the billions Moderna and Pfizer made as key drivers of a future pandemic scenario, along with governments seeking “more power, more surveillance, more control.”
“The conditions that created … the pandemic in all likelihood still exist,” he warned.
The film leaves viewers with a powerful call to action.
“We are the government. Politicians are our servants. And our freedom comes from a higher authority. If we do not wield it, we will hand it away.”

Big pharma = big agri = central banking, big money, exclusively Jewish, special interests.
This could be really interesting if they actually peel back some of the layers of the military operation and global coordination behind that.
But it sounds like this documentary simply reinforces the official narrative that it’s a dispute over details of civilian public health policy?
It’s not about differing opinions on the extent of safety and efficacy. The whole thing is a fraud. That so many older and supposedly well-educated Americans sided with the authoritarian control freaks is difficult to grapple with but has nothing to do with pandemics.
