High School graduation violence
Three people were shot during a High School graduation ceremony at Skyline High School in Oakland, CA. Police have made three arrests, but they have not been named. The same school had a shooting last September “over a dice game,” but no one was hit.
Seven people were shot during a high school graduation party at Casey Lake Park in Saint Paul, MN. Police are looking for a Black male shooter.
An 18-year-old female was shot in the leg at a High School graduation party in Battle Creek, Michigan. No details on the shooter have been reported.
Fighting at a shooting erupted at a graduation ceremony for Roosevelt High School in Des Moines, Iowa. Police used pepper spray to break up the fighting. Police say two people fired shots but hit no one.
The Hamilton High School graduation ceremony exploded into violence. This is in Memphis, TN.
