Five years ago, a Vietnam Vet named Jose’ Oliva was assaulted by VA security officers at a hospital in El Paso. Video and witness testimony show clearly the guard assaulted him unprovoked.
Supposedly, this case will be heard in the Supreme Court very soon, if they can’t find a way out of “hearing” it.
[Maybe, they will decide Jose’ doesn’t have “standing” as a citizen?]
This article is worth a full reading for those interested in how the court system gets bogged down on legalities and forgets to use common sense.

While researching alternatives to copper sulfate for clearing unwanted amphibians from our pond, I came upon a recently released video I believe might be banned for its audacity to call Monsanto by name.
Oh, and my girl maybe was right.
We will dredge the pond and dispose safely of the toxic sludge.
I would like to dedicate this to Marc, the Hardscrabble Farmer, who can be every bit as charming and, sometimes, just as funny as this guy.
And, as a bonus, Apollo 17: The Last Man on the Moon!

Regardless of how you feel about the trauma and drama surrounding Jordan Peterson’s stance on gender pronouns and the subsequent notoriety it brought to his life, this short discussion of the divine nature of truth is some of his finest rhetoric, I think.
In the beginning was the Word.
This is an honest and frank discussion of the issues surrounding the recent conviction of Derek Chauvin for the murder and manslaughter of George Floyd. I admire Candace Owen for standing on principle, addressing these issues in a way that offers a bridge across the racial divide. She is a brilliant young woman able to back her ideas up with both wit and knowledge.
I hope Candace considers a run for the US House in 2022. I believe she has an important message that needs to be heard on the national, if not global, stage.
