Shifting The Blame

Guest Post by Duane Norman

where-the-gun-problem-exists

“There are those who criticize any gun safety reforms by pointing to my hometown as an example,” Obama said. “The problem with that argument, as the Chicago Police Department will tell you, is that 60% of guns recovered in crimes come from out of state. You’ve just got to hop across the border.”

A report from Chicago authorities found that nearly 60% of illegal guns recovered in the city from 2009 to 2013 were first sold in states with more lax gun laws. The largest portion came from Indiana, which accounted for 19% of the illegal guns in Chicago.

Shift the blame and demand even more gun control – a typical response to high crime and police failures.  Chicago’s “authorities” are hardly alone in blaming everyone else for their problems; let’s take a closer look at my AOR, the Northeast US; one of the most restrictive areas in the country for gun rights.

Hillary Clinton And Her Basket Of Deplorables

Via Project Purge

No, I’m not writing an article to punch back at  your supporters Hillary. If I’m being honest, I used to support Barack Obama. I used to watch Jon Leibowitz and Stephen Colbert religiously. I even used to think man-made climate change was a thing. It’s embarrassing to admit all that, but I’m also fully aware of how easy is to be indoctrinated by the media when you fail to research the propaganda they’re feeding you.

This is an article about you, Hillary Clinton, the most self-serving deplorable human being ever to run for President of the United States. Do you think that’s unfair? Is it misogynistic to point out that 70% of Americans think you’re a liar? That’s actually incredible considering how much time the media spends projecting your dishonesty on Donald Trump.

Let’s just get to the sh*t show you call a career in public service and I’ll stop when my ADHD kicks in.

Let’s talk about the audacity for you to question the character of American citizens. Do you remember landing under sniper fire in Bosnia you raving sociopath?

Trumped! A Nation On The Brink Of Ruin…..And How To Bring It Back

My new book has been published and will be officially released next Tuesday. However, preorders for the e-Book version are now available on Amazon and can be obtained by clicking this link:

Trumped! A Nation On The Brink Of Ruin… And How To Bring It Back

As I previously indicated, the book is an exploration of how 30 years of Bubble Finance policies at the Fed, feckless interventions abroad and mushrooming Big government and debt at home have brought America to its current ruinous condition.

In this context, it delves into the good and bad of the Trump campaign and platform, while, to use a spoiler alert, praising it with faint damn!

As Contra Corner readers recognize the only consistent way forward for America at this late stage of the game is a return to free markets, fiscal rectitude, sound money, constitutional liberty, non-intervention abroad, minimalist government at home and decentralized political rule.

TO BE GROSSLY GENERALISTIC

Heil Hillary describing what she will do in no uncertain terms. First she announces she is going to take our guns. If she doesn’t think Trump supporters are even human, how easy will it be for her to herd her “enemies” into cattle cars? Listen to the cackling laughter of her minions when she denigrates half the U.S. population:

Hillary’s Hate Speech

HILLARY CLINTON THINKS HALF THE COUNTRY IS DEPLORABLE

Make no mistake about it. Hillary Clinton’s evil hateful vengeful sociopathic personality reared its ugly head last night as she siphoned up millions from her Hollywood elite friends like Streisand, Clooney, and Timberlake. Her revelation of how she feels about half the American population is more damning than Romney’s comments four years ago about the free shit army.

She thinks anyone who supports Trump is deplorable. The term “basket of deplorables” is about as offensive as you can get when describing fellow citizens of this country. It’s a term you could picture Hitler using to describe the Jews before he came to power. She really believes that anyone who does not support her is shameful, dishonorable, wretched, and awful. Those are synonyms for the word deplorable.

If the corrupt establishment is successful in placing her on the throne, how do you think she will treat the basket of deplorables (aka the working middle class)? She despises at least half the people in this country. Her seething contempt for the working class is barely contained, and when she is among her ultra-liberal Hollywood cronies she feels safe to unload the truth. She is the personification of pure evil. This country will not survive eight years under the boot of this fascist shrew.

Hillary Clinton, appearing at a gala campaign fundraiser on Friday featuring a performance by Barbra Streisand, told the crowd that half of rival Donald Trump’s supporters could be put “into what I call the basket of deplorables,” while the the rest are “desperate for change.”

“To just be grossly generalistic, you could put half of Trump’s supporters into what I call the ‘basket of deplorables,’” Clinton said, according to a recording of her remarks obtained by Variety. “Racist, sexist, homophobic, xenophobic, Islamaphobic, you name it. And unfortunately there are people like that. And he has lifted them up. He has given voice to their websites that used to only have 11,000 people, now have 11 million. He tweets and retweets their offensive, hateful, mean-spirited rhetoric. Now some of those folks, they are irredeemable, but thankfully, they are not America.”

The interwebs tells me that Rob Reiner is making war on the hate thinkers, particularly Trump voters.

Filmmaker, actor and outspoken Donald Trump detractor Rob Reiner says it is impossible to level with the Republican presidential nominee’s bigoted supporters, who are “mostly white males who don’t have college degrees.”
In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, the actor said that there’s “a very serious strain of racism” that runs through those supporting the Republican presidential nominee.

“And that’s a kind of disturbing thing, and I don’t think you ever reach those people. I think that they’re impossible to turn around. It’s very disturbing because a lot of these racist ideas have kind of been dormant for a while, and he’s given voice to them — he’s kind of unearthed it. And the thing that’s most disturbing is to discover that there’s so many people that still hold those views,” Reiner said.

For those too young to remember, or too old to remember, Rob Reiner is famous for having played the character “Meathead” on the popular 70’s TV show All In The Family. The show was supposed to mock traditional Americans, particularly blue collar Americans, but the public received it mostly as a celebration of normal people at a time when normals were under assault from liberals, hippies and various other degenerates. Rob Reiner’s character came to represent what had gone wrong with the country.

WAL-MART FREAKS OF THE WEEK

1921

I’m not sure if this is a 50 year old Vietnam vet or a 14 year old kid. Today’s fashion fads have me all sorts of f*cked up.

1919

That would be much more believable if you wrote that in blood, cocaine or maybe a mix of both. A 97 cent Sharpie just doesn’t do it for me.

1920

That moment when the crazy person in line tries to make conversation with you…

The War Economy – CNN’s Wolf Blitzer Warns About Job Loss if the U.S. Stops Arming Saudi Arabia

screen-shot-2016-09-09-at-10-04-57-am

Ladies and gentlemen, it appears the long anticipated moment of peak mainstream media stupidity may have finally arrived.

This is what passes for journalism in America today.

The Intercept reports:

Sen. Rand Paul’s expression of opposition to a $1.1 billion U.S. arms sale to Saudi Arabia — which has been brutally bombing civilian targets in Yemen using U.S.-made weapons for more than a year now — alarmed CNN’s Wolf Blitzer on Thursday afternoon.

Blitzer’s concern: That stopping the sale could result in fewer jobs for arms manufacturers.

“So for you this is a moral issue,” he told Paul during the Kentucky Republican’s appearance on CNN. “Because you know, there’s a lot of jobs at stake. Certainly if a lot of these defense contractors stop selling war planes, other sophisticated equipment to Saudi Arabia, there’s gonna be a significant loss of jobs, of revenue here in the United States. That’s secondary from your standpoint?”

Measuring the Shy Trump Supporters

Guest Post by Scott Adams

It’s hard to count people who are intentionally hiding. But just for fun, let’s see if we can deduce how many so-called Shy Trump Supporters are out there.

For starters, we can say with certainty that they exist. I have a better ear for that than most of you because of my Trump blogging and my public endorsement of Clinton for my personal safety. People feel comfortable telling me privately, and also anonymously online, that they hide their Trump support from their spouse and coworkers. So we know they exist. We just don’t know how many.

We know that sometimes robocall surveys and online surveys show more Trump support than human-to-human polling. So that might be an indicator, but we don’t know what other variables are in play.

In a recent Reuters poll, 7% of respondents “refused” to vote for either Trump or Clinton. I’m guessing some Shy Trump Supporters “park” their votes with Gary Johnson (polling at 9.3%) or Jill Stein (polling at 3.3%).

Ron Paul: Vote All You Want, The Secret Government Won’t Change

Submitted by Carey Wedler via TheAntiMedia.org,

Former congressman Ron Paul is outspoken. When he retired from Congress, he called lawmakers psychopathic authoritarians to their faces. He’s also called Donald Trump an authoritarian and asserted Hillary Clinton could have run as a Republican. And just last week, Paul took aim at the foundational structure of American ‘democracy.’

In a recent episode of his web show, the Liberty Report, Ron Paul discussed the Department of Homeland Security’s decision last month to take a more active role in U.S. elections. Secretary Jeh Johnson said he was “considering whether elections should be classified as ‘critical infrastructure,’ affording them the same kinds of enhanced protections that the banking system and the electrical grid receive,” POLITICO reported.

The potential move came on the heels of the notorious DNC leak in July, which exposed intentions within the Democratic Party to manipulate the primary race against Senator Bernie Sanders. Politicians and the media quickly blamed the hack on Russia, failing to cite conclusive proof of their allegations yet spawning the narrative that the Kremlin and other foreign threats could compromise U.S. elections.

On his show, Paul took issue with the notion that the Department of Homeland Security, an agency riddled with incompetence and failed objectives — case in point, the TSA — is capable of securing U.S. elections.

DUST

(Tip from ditchner)
Does anyone really believe there is a plausible explanation for what this video suggests?  And in spite of our next POTUS’s resounding “What difference does it make?”, I can’t help but think the dustification theory extends beyond the concrete and steel of those buildings and touches upon the fabric of our society.  The “dustification” of the social bonds is ongoing, but somehow I feel like the crumbling of our national pride and social cohesiveness started at the same time and were implemented by the same hand(s).
