The rains came, the streams rose, and the winds blew against that house; and yet it did not fall, because it had a firm foundation. But those who hear these words and do not act on them are like the foolish who build their house on sand. The rains fall, the streams rise, and the winds blow and beat against their house, and then it falls, with a great crash.”

Mt 7:21-27

“At that time many will falter, and betray and despise each other, and false prophets will appear and deceive many people. Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of many will grow cold. But those who stand firm to the end will be saved. The gospel of the kingdom will be preached to the whole world, as a testimony for all nations. And then the end will come.”
