In the Bubble: Trump’s Presidency Reveals 7 Undeniable Facts About The Swamp

By Doug “Uncola” Lynn via TheBurningPlatform.com

Barely into the New Year, 2020 vision has brought many revelations into better focus, making several ongoing observations perfectly clear.  Although there are those who’ve been watching the dots of The Matrix assemble into the big picture for decades now, the election of Donald Trump has increasingly exposed what was hidden in plain sight for so long.

The awakening for many Americans could be compared to that of actor Jim Carrey’s character in the 1998 film “The Truman Show”.  In that narrative, the unsuspecting star of a global reality television program came to the realization his entire worldview was formed within a bubble; a literal bubble that generated bubblevision in Carrey’s character as all of those around (and above) him performed right on cue.

Truly, it feels like that now in America. The times have become surreal.

And there is a great percentage of Americans who still live within the bubble. They are everywhere: In the workplace, in schools and colleges and at restaurants and in bars. They vigorously debate each other on who would make a better president between Bernie Sanders, Elizabeth Warren, Andrew Yang, or Joe Biden. They LOVE the fact that Trump was impeached and consider Adam Schiff, Nancy Pelosi, and the Devil’s butler (Chuck Schumer) to be American heroes.

Text Wars on Smartphones and Frenzied Bullshittin’…

By Doug “Uncola” Lynn via TheBurningPlatform.com

In past articles, I’ve written about my political discussions with friends in my social circle and, most often, within a group of us who meet on Saturday mornings for breakfast.  These have included “Breakfast Club: Dining with Friends”,  “The Persistence of Their Delusion is Despicable”, “The Rants of the Libtards Ring Hollow then Echo”, and “The Conspiracies are Broad and Deep”.  We all know each other through a shared involvement and patronage of a community organization; and, although attendance has grown through the years, the majority of us are middle-aged, Caucasian, and college-educated professionals.

At least one in our group has no genuine interest in politics, but most of the others can’t stand Trump and consider me to be an ultra-right-wing, crazy conspiracy theorist.  I would say more than a few have outwardly embraced socialist policies, if not Socialism in toto, and then there is a RINO (Republican In Name Only) who responds to me with a loud “F*ck you!” whenever I’ve addressed him as such.

Stop Hoping That The Swamp Will Drain The Swamp

Guest Post by Caitlin Johnstone

If you only tuned into US politics within the last couple of years this will come as a major surprise, but believe it or not there was once a time when both major parties weren’t constantly claiming that imminent revelations are about to completely destroy the other party any minute now. Used to be they’d just focus on beating each other in elections and making each other look bad with smears and sex scandals; now in the age of Trump they’re both always insisting that some huge, earth-shattering revelation is right around the corner that will see the leaders of the other party dragged off in chains forever.

“Mayday, Mayday, Mayday”: 13 Random Revelations from April, 2018

By Doug “Uncola” Lynn via TheBurningPlatform.com

As we travel the stormy seas on the way to our forthcoming destination, thirteen revelations from April, 2018 are now randomly recorded by this mate as follows:

1.) According to a April 22-24, 2018 Fox News poll of 1,014 randomly chosen registered voters nationwide:   Two-thirds said it is at least “somewhat important” that Mueller’s Russia investigation continues, and “56 percent think it’s likely the special council’s probe will find that Donald Trump committed criminal or impeachable offenses”.

2.)  A recent Quinnipiac poll found that 70% of Democratic voters would like to see impeachment hearings begin if Democrats regain control of the House and Senate.

3.) At a rally in Washington Township, Michigan on Saturday, April 28th, Trump claimed Republicans will retain the House and Senate in the 2018 midterm elections because of the economy:

WHAT IF TRUMP REALLY IS DRAINING THE SWAMP?

What would it look like? Would you recognize it if you saw it? What would you say if I said that Draining The Swamp has already begun? What if I told you World War III has already begun?

Is it possible that you might not even recognize it?

I can’t definitively say what is going on. Hell, most of you know I have not been a Trump supporter. I’m of the opinion that ALL of our (s)elected leaders are vile, villainous scum that cannot be trusted and who would blame me based on the last nine years and even the last fifty years or more?

I want to give a Hat Tip to T4C for turning me on to all of this. I am of course referring to the now infamous Q or Q clearance or Q Anon. (google Q clearance & Q group)

‘Draining The Swamp’ – Trump Admin Blows $11 Billion In The Last Week Of Fiscal Year

Authored by Mike Krieger via Liberty Blitzkrieg blog,

If you need further evidence regarding how wasteful and irresponsible Washington D.C. is when it comes to our tax dollars, look no further than the behavior of agencies under Donald “drain the swamp” Trump.

This year’s spending binge amounted to $11 billion in the last fiscal year week of 2017, and many of the excesses were detailed by Open the Books Founder and CEO, Adam Andrzejewski, in a recent Forbes article.

How To Drain The Deep Swamp

Via Raul Ilargi Meijer of The Automatic Earth blog,

Obviously, like hopefully many people, I’ve been following the WikiLeaks CIA revelations, and closely. It’s too early for too many conclusions, if only because WikiLeaks has announced much more will flow from that same pipeline. But one thing is already clear: the CIA is -still- a club that sees enemies behind every tree, and behind every TV set too. Which is not as obvious a world view as it may seem; it’s just something we’ve become used to.

Moreover, as we see time and again, organizations like the CIA and NATO have no qualms about ‘creating’ enemies if they are in short supply. The flavor du jour has now been, for years, Russia, but don’t be surprised if another one is cultivated alongside it. ISIS, China, North Korea, plenty of options, and plenty of media more than willing to aid the cultivation process. It’s a well-oiled machine geared towards making something out of nothing, a machine very adept at making you believe anything it wants you to.

A NEW JACKSONIAN ERA? (PART TWO)

In Part One of this article I documented the populist administration of Andrew Jackson and similarities to Donald Trump’s populist victory in the recent election. I’ll now try to assess the chances of a Trump presidency accomplishing its populist agenda.

The Trumpian Era

“But you must remember, my fellow-citizens, that eternal vigilance by the people is the price of liberty, and that you must pay the price if you wish to secure the blessing. It is to be regretted that the rich and powerful too often bend the acts of government to their own selfish purposes.” Andrew Jackson

“For too long, a small group in our nation’s capital has reaped the rewards of government while the people have borne the cost. Washington flourished, but the people did not share in its wealth. Politicians prospered, but the jobs left and the factories closed. The establishment protected itself, but not the citizens of our country. Their victories have not been your victories. Their triumphs have not been your triumphs. And while they celebrated in our nation’s capital, there was little to celebrate for struggling families all across our land. What truly matters is not which party controls our government, but whether our government is controlled by the people. January 20th, 2017 will be remembered as the day the people became the rulers of this nation again. The forgotten men and women of our country will be forgotten no longer.” – Donald J. Trump – Inaugural Speech

It is not a coincidence the painting in the oval office behind President Trump’s desk is of Andrew Jackson. He has promoted his presidency as a Jacksonian quest to return government to the people. His chief strategist Steve Bannon, a student of history, helped mold Trump’s speech with echoes of Jacksonian populism:

“It was an unvarnished declaration of the basic principles of his populist and kind of nationalist movement. It was given, I think, in a very powerful way. I don’t think we’ve had a speech like that since Andrew Jackson came to the White House. But you could see it was very Jacksonian. It’s got a deep, deep root of patriotism there.”

Feared, Not Loved

“Until the swamp is drained, there is no prospect of making America great again.”

Guest post by Robert Gore at Straight Line Logic

One of the smarter things Donald Trump said during his campaign was that the stock market was in a “free money”-fueled bubble. He told Fox Business in early August that he was out of the stock market and “warned of ‘very scary scenarios’ ahead for investors” (“Trump says he ‘got out’ of stock market,” money.cnn.com).

The nominal national debt almost doubled during George W. Bush’s presidency and almost doubled again during Obama’s, to nearly $20 trillion. Estimates vary, but that $20 trillion is one-fifth to one-tenth of the US government’s unfunded medical and pension liabilities (the US GDP in 2015 was $17.914 trillion). Government, corporate, and personal debt in the US are all greater, in absolute amounts and as a percentage of the GDP, than they were before the last debt crisis began in 2008. The Federal Reserve’s balance sheet has expanded by roughly five times since that crisis.

It’s finally here. It’s the last chance for the deplorable, bitter, gun and bible clinging, white, hard working, tax paying Americans to take this country back from sociopathic, left wing, socialist, gun hating, corrupt, middle class hating, free shit army, social justice tyrants.

It’s time to drain the swamp in D.C.

Use this thread to report on what you see at the polls. Report any voting oddities. Report the mood at the polls. Post your thoughts about this day and what it means for our future as a country. It’s all yours.

Call Me Swamp Thing

Guest Post by The Zman

Way back in the Clinton Administration, I had the opportunity to socialize with Chris Mathews at a small dinner function. It was one of those charity deals where they have some important person give a little speech and chit-chat with the attendees. This was before Mathews had his mental breakdown so he was good fun, despite being a Lefty. People forget that he was not great fan of the Clintons, even though he was always a loyal party man.

This was the mid-90’s and the Drudge Report had just gone up as a website. Americans were flocking to computer stores to buy modems so they could use that AOL disk they got in the mail. I forget what we were discussing, but at some point I got the impression that Mathews simply had no idea the internet existed. I made mention of something about on-line news and Mathews had this puzzled look, then said, “Oh, you mean that internet thing.” He was unaware of the biggest technological event since the steam engine.
