No More Mr. Nice Con

Guest Post by Kurt Schlichter

The hideous notion that conservatives should always be nice is rearing its ugly and misshapen head again, and we need to crush its skull with a Louisville Slugger. Recently, Matt Walsh went off on some womanface imposter who looks like a wimpy boy pretending to be a fugly girl, and some alleged conservatives clutched the same pearls he/she likes to wear. Why, Matt was mean. Mean! And Senator Tim Scott seems poised to enter the presidential race on a platform of being nice. He is a nice guy too, and that’s fine, except like many conservatives he misunderstands the purposes of being nice. Being nice is not an end unto itself.

ARE PUTIN AND XI GRAY CHAMPIONS? (PART 2)

In Part 1 of this article I examined previous Fourth Turnings and the Gray Champions who won and lost, but made a difference in the course of history. Now I will try to peer through the fog of disinformation, lies, and false narratives to try and determine which Gray Champions will make a difference in this Fourth Turning.

Ukraine: The United States are now fighting a proxy war with Russia - REBEL

The U.S. and NATO are playing with fire by poking the bear. This is no longer a limited conflict between Russia and the Ukraine. In the early days of the conflict, there were constant talks between both sides, with the possibility of a negotiated resolution. The American Empire nixed those talks. The neo-cons, representing the interests of the military industrial complex uni-party, see an opportunity to further enrich themselves, while believing they can bleed and weaken Putin. But who is really being weakened in the long run?

Russian Ruble Value in US Dollars, May 10, 2022

Putin’s military operation began on February 24. Oil was $93 a barrel. It is up 13% and despite economic sanctions, Russian oil revenue is higher, and the ruble is at a two year high versus the USD and Euro. Natural gas prices are up 69%. Diesel prices are up 89%. Gasoline prices are up 29%. Wheat prices are up 31%. The stock market is down 5% and at a one year low. As an exporter of oil, natural gas, and wheat, is Russia really suffering from these price increases, or are the citizens of the EU and U.S. bearing the brunt of the pain? Russians are paying $2.80 a gallon for gasoline, while Americans are paying $4.65 per gallon. Who’s winning this proxy war?

WIKIPEDIA TRYING TO INFLUENCE THE PA SENATE PRIMARY

Trump and the Republican establishment are all in for the left wing Oprah talk show host candidate and Turkish citizen Mehmet Oz. He is a far left nutjob who doesn’t even live in PA. It looks like the Trump crew bribed Wikipedia to pull down her Wikipedia page one week before the primary because she was only 1.7% behind Oz in the polls, despite having about 99% less money to spend on advertising. Trump is a wolf in sheep’s clothing. How could he support this douchebag over a black female real conservative?

Deficit rises $94 billion to $693 billion for first half of the year, budget office estimates

So the deficit is up $700 billion in the first six months, but the CBO is predicting a $900 billion deficit for the full year. With the economy slowing dramatically and corporate profits declining, revenues will decline in the 2nd half of the year. Does anyone think spending will slow down? We are headed for at least a $1.2 trillion deficit. Thank God we have a fiscally responsible Republican president.

The federal budget deficit rose by $94 billion to $693 billion for the first half of fiscal 2019, the Congressional Budget Office estimated Friday in its monthly budget review.

Revenues were up, by 1% to $1.5 trillion, but spending rose even more, by about 5% to $2.2 trillion.

Middle East Refugees to Begin Arriving to U.S. from Australia

WINNING!!!!

What say you Trumpeteers?

Via Breitbart

The first group of 1,250 mostly male Middle Eastern refugees is expected to soon arrive in the United States from Australia. The transfer of refugees comes after President Trump failed to shutter an Obama-era deal that could bring tens of thousands of the refugees’ family members to the U.S. in years to come.

President Barack Obama signed the Australian-U.S. refugee deal during his last months in office — promising to take 1,250 Middle Eastern refugees off Australia’s hands.

The refugees are being held in detention centers on Manus Island and Nauru Island. Despite Trump’s original statement calling the deal “a dumb deal,” the president has now broken two long-promised campaign pledges: Throwing out deals that don’t benefit Americans and stopping the flow of foreign refugees.

Trump To Order Corporate Tax Rate Cut To 15%, Loading Up To $2 Trillion In Extra Debt

Judge a man by what he does, not by what he says. The picture becomes clearer by the day. Notice he is cutting corporate taxes. Where’s those tax cuts for the middle class? I guess we’ll have to wait for the benefits to trickle down from corporate America.

Ahead of Trump’s much anticipated tax announcement on Wednesday, the WSJ reports that the president has ordered his (mostly ex-Goldman) White House aides to accelerate efforts to create a tax plan “slashing the corporate rate to 15% and prioritizing cuts in tax rates over an attempt to not increase the deficit” which means that without an offsetting source of revenue, Trump is about to unleash the debt spigots, a proposal which will face fierce pushback from conservatives as it is nothing more than a continuation of the status quo under the Obama administration, and may well be DOA.

The WSJ adds that during an Oval Office meeting last week, “Trump told staff he wants a massive tax cut to sell to the American people” and that it was “less important to him if the plan loses revenue.”
